Spent our second annual week at this lovely place! It is perfect! Immaculate, stocked with everything we could possibly need, and what a location! From this lovely home, you can walk down to the Marginal Way and take that path to Perkins Cove or downtown Ogunquit, or to the beach! Can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Enjoyed our stay immensely. Very clean, well stocked, & excellent location. I didn’t realize it was up on a hill… so walking down to Marginal way was fine but coming back up was difficult because my husband is 92. However it would not stop me from renting this unit again.

We had a wonderful week at The Shore Thing. Clean, comfortable, well appointed and stocked. Owner was quick to respond to questions and to help us figure out the entry code (our problem, not his!). We want to come back in 2025.

Comfortable condo in quiet neighborhood

The condo is in a quiet neighborhood and in a well-maintained complex. It is a 10-ish minute walk to a beach. If you don't want to walk, then a nice pool area is available right across the street. The unit's outdoor deck space also has exposure to the sun for most of the day. The unit is well stocked with necessities and is very comfortable. Owner was responsive to communications.

Great Stay

This was our return visit to this comfortable and modern rental in beautiful Ogunquit. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the sunrise. It is also located in a great spot for walks along Marginal Way to Main St. and Perkin's Cove. Being a bit cooler in September makes for less crowded beaches to enjoy and comfortable walking to nearby shops and restaurants. This property is a great place to stay!

Best location on Marginal Way!

Enjoyed another great stay at this well-appointed "home away from home". Everything we could of needed was located in the condo. Great communication with owner, Patrick. Plan to return next year.

Perfect Location!

The Shore Thing is a perfect location! You can park your car and leave it. We could walk to everything, restaurants, the beach, Marginal Way, and shopping in town. The condo was clean and well stocked. The pool was refreshing and peaceful. It was a great week!

Vacation in comfort and peace!

This condo was absolutely perfect for our first visit to Ogunquit. I had no idea what area to stay in but this proved to be absolutely perfect for our style. The area was quiet and peaceful but a 10min walk along The Marginal Way gets you to Perkins’ Cove or town. We parked the car and really didn’t need it again. The beach at the end of the street was a gem! We love avoiding the big crowded main beaches so having a more secluded area to enjoy the water was really nice! We’d walk down all the time to catch a sunset or drink morning coffee at the coast. (Also, really awesome waves for surfing and boogie boarding!) The condo location could not be better. Closest condo to the beach and we could access the apt without even needing to go into the main entrance. Super easy check-in, great communication made it so simple. The condo was very comfortable, clean and stocked very well. Awesome deck with water view had comfy seating and a nice big umbrella to make the space so useable. I even did a small oil painting out there bc it was so comfy and perfect. It was such a perfect stay we will def be back!

Just Perfect!!!

Exactly what I was hoping for- well-appointed condo with perfect location. Everything we needed was in the condo and more. Enjoyed having coffee on the deck in the morning. Closeness to Marginal Way and the beaches made it a great vacation week.

Wonderful wonderful week

This place is so perfect. We already rebooked for 2023! The property is immaculate, the ocean view is incredible. We loved sitting out on the deck. Patrick was responsive and helpful. Can't wait for next year!

Great place to stay in Ogunquit!

We loved our stay in Ogunquit! The condo was clean, well stocked and the location can’t be beat. Walk to town, small beach and Perkins Cove. I walked every morning on marginal way and we walked to Perkins Cove and into town for dinner most nights. Pool is deep (4-10 feet) I could only stand in the first few feet of the pool so definitely bring floats. We would stay again.

Best Vacation

This was such a great trip for my husband and me. We enjoyed everything. The condo was beautifully decorated with a Parisienne theme and proved to be clean and comfortable. We loved sitting on the deck with the view of the ocean in the distance. We could walk just about everywhere using Marginal Way to go to Perkins Cove and to Main St. Little Beach was conveniently located just down the hill. One of my favorite things to do was walking Marginal Way along the coast in the early morning. There are many good restaurants in the area, and we enjoyed all that we tried. My husband grew up near Portland, so we have made many trips to Maine. I would say that staying in Ogunquit at this condo was the best of all and we look forward to coming back someday.

Great condo for a relaxing vacation

We enjoyed our stay here – the condo was perfect in size for the two of us and was in a great location. It was a short walk to the Marginal Way and a couple of small beaches (during low tide). And when we wanted to go to Ogunquit Beach, it was only about a 10-15 minute walk. It was also very easy to walk into the center of town for lunch or dinner. The condo itself was very clean and nicely furnished/decorated, and we felt at home. We spent a lot of time in the mornings sitting on the deck. There is a parking lot across the street – during the weekend, it might be a little tough to find a spot if you are out and don’t return until 7 or 8 in the evening. But there is a side street that allows street parking and is relatively empty once the beach-goers leave for the day. During the day (or anytime during the week), there were no problems parking in the lot. The unit is located on the first floor, so depending on how courteous/soft-footed the people who rent the unit above are, you may hear them when in the bedroom. Patrick was very responsive when we had questions. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

My wife and I both grew up and live in MA. Our favorite spot is Ogunquit - Main Beach. The drive is less than hour to Ogt.

We've been coming to OGT since we were kids with our family and always wanted a place that we could walk to everything while on vacation. Marginal Way is the best walking spot on the Maine southern coast. Main Beach in OGT is the #1 spot - great for walking, running, surfing, swimming or just relaxing on the beach. The OGT river is perfect for your kayak or paddle board.
