Fenwick Island

The location is convenient for traveling to either Ocean City or the more quaint areas of the northern towns like Bethany Beach. The layout of the house is simple and effective at not making families feel crowded. Don’t be alarmed if you feel the house move a bit. That’s normal for elevated beach houses. The noise of traffic was better than expected, most likely due to the house being on the northern part of Fenwick Island. The outdoor shower was especially enjoyed by our children. The short 3 minute walk to the beach was appreciated by my Mom.

We enjoyed the location, spacious deck and living quarters very much. The owner even went out of his way to return a few items that were left in the home.

Perfect Place to relax

Updated appliances made the stay even nicer. Location is the best for beach, shops, and fun. Reading one of the many books on the deck in the morning while drinking coffee or in the afternoon sunset is relaxing Will always stay here on future trips

Perfect Beach Cottage

We enjoyed our stay in this beach house. It was very clean when we arrived. We enjoyed sitting outside on the large deck in the mornings and in the evenings. Beds were all comfortable. It is a short walk to the beach from the house. Short enough that my kids never complained about the walk to and from the beach! Kitchen is well stocked and we we even used the grill one night. There is also a great selection of books- great beach reads. Thank you for letting our family stay in your rental. We are hoping to stay again next summer!

Spacious and Confortable

The house was very roomy. Amazing to sit on deck in morning on one side and evening on the other. Very quiet even though on Coastal Hwy. Has all the amenities you need and a grill for staying in. Will definitely look to reserve again

Family Beach Week

This was the perfect beach vacation spot-quick walk to the beach, family friendly neighborhood, incredible porches to sit, talk and tan. Mr.Tingle was a great host too! He was responsive to all my messages and he told us about some great places to visit and eat. It was great to meet him on Saturday too and know that he was right down the road if we needed anything. Fantastic stay in Fenwick

My family and I had a terrific stay. The house was perfect for the three of us and could have fit plenty more. Just a short walk to the beach and the location at the north end of town meant the beach was not crowded at all. The outdoor shower and beach chairs were clutch and we took full advantage of the wraparound porch for meals and picking crabs. Owner couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to go back!

Great Home

The location was great. Close to everything including the beach. The deck is a great place to people-watch or just relax. We even met the neighbors who were very friendly. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed and Clarence was very nice and accommodating. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Wonderful weekend

Exactly as described. Clarence was in touch with us before, during and after our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. Labor Day is such a relaxing time at the beach and the easy walk to the beach made the time spent together special. With a deck on the front and the rear of the house with ample chairs tables and seating, our time stood still. The kids loved the outside shower to clean up before heading out to the local establishments. Convenient. Simple. Easy. We look forward to next time. Thanks Clarence!

Perfect for our family

We've stayed in the this unit more than 20 times over the years and it never disappoints. Over that period, it has been upgraded with new floors, countertop, appliances, wifi, and furnishings. We're not looking for super fancy - just comfortable, clean, convenient accommodations for our beach week. The house is not cluttered with a lot of the owners belonging (as are some that we've stayed in) but just the right amount of books, playing cards, etc. if you don't remember to bring your own. The kitchen is well equipped with whatever tools you need to make your meals and snacks. My only concern is that if our family grows, we'll have to find another place with an additional bedroom.

Comfortable 3bdr house one block from the beach.

This beach themed house was great for our family. Situated between Ocean City, MD and Bethany Beach, DE, location is low key but very close to boardwalks and night life. The wrap around deck was perfect for enjoying one of the many books available in the house. Gas grill and well equipped kitchen were perfect for meals. Only a block away from the Fenwick Island beach makes it perfect for short beach visits or days with multiple beach visits. Outside shower, beach chairs, and washer/dryer made this the ideal home for a beach vacation.

Great location and cozy house

Clean comfortable and cozy, we had a great time despite the weather (Florence). Great location near the beach and only a few minutes from OC. The owners are great, they let us bump our stay back a week when our daughter broke her leg in July and we weren’t sure when she was getting out of her cast. Only minor suggestions would be the carpet could use a shampoo and a garden hose on the outside spigot to spray off beach/fishing gear would be nice. Overall really nice house and would recommend to anyone who wants to be near the beach and in a quiet neighborhood but still close enough to the action in OC.
