Este retiro tranquilo está a 90 minutos rápidos de Seattle, pero se siente a un millón de millas de distancia. Hermosos jardines con césped ondulado y una cancha de bochas de tamaño completo. Hay una boya para los navegantes, un muelle privado y tres kayaks.

La playa está llena de almejas, mejillones, ostras y cangrejos y es perfecta para peinar en la playa.

La mayoría de las habitaciones en este Cape Cod de 1939 dan a las islas Bay, Anderson, McNeil y Fox, y las luces distantes de Steilacoom. Serene views and comfy stay!

This place was perfect for our sister reunion! The house is lovely with many spots to be social as well as sneak away and read a book. The view was my favorite, I couldn't get enough! It was the perfect place, we didn't want to leave!

A beautiful weekend getaway

My three friends and I stayed here for a girls weekend. It has amazing views, comfy beds, and is a really cozy home. The owner was incredibly friendly, responsive, and flexible. We all agreed we'd stay here again.

Our favorite place to stay

This home has the most beautiful view imaginable and the charms of a lovingly updated older home. Our group has visited several times and we will be back again. The property owner is quick to answer inquiries and we love that she shares her wonderful home.

Perfect girls weekend!

Fantastic for a getaway by the water

Cathy's place is fantastic. It's spacious, comfortable, and has a beautiful view of the water. The kitchen was great as we did cooked each night. The living areas were perfect for our small children to spread out with their toys. Highly recommend and I would definitely stay again.

Great house with amazing views!

We loved everything about this property! The view was absolutely breathtaking. We enjoying kayaking with the seals, and looking for unique shells on the beach. We also had fun playing with the crabs on the beach during low tide. I highly recommend this property!

Would love to visit again!

This is a beautiful home at a beautiful location on the water. This fit our group of 4 adults and 2 children perfectly. The house was stocked with everything we needed, and more. This house was one of our favorite rentals as we could enjoy water views from multiple rooms. I hope to be able to visit again!

Beautiful setting on Puget Sound

We had a wondeful time at this lovely house with simply outstanding views of southern Puget Sound and Mt. Rainier. The wildlife in the area was amazing - lots of bald eagles, seals and even otters lounging on the floating dock. Rear deck and multiple levels in the tiered backyard made for some excellent times for our family.

Beautiful and well stocked home

The views from every room of this house are spectacular. Between that, the cute cozy decor and comfy beds, we all had a relaxing fun stay. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The host was responsive. Would recommend.

Our celebration get a way stay

This was a top notch property. Full of ambiance. Beautiful inside and out. Quaint cape cod completely renovated but keeping the charm of the 1939 structure. Everything you see posted in the pictures is right on. Our family thoroughly enjoyed every single minute of our stay.

Went for a wedding, stayed for the weekend!

Could not have been better. 1.5 miles from my sister’s wedding at Longbranch Improvement Club. Watched stunning sunrise from kyacks. Enjoyed boche ball on crushed oyster court. Lovely rooms, furnishings, perfect!

Extraordinary house in a quiet, serene setting

This lovely home, with its incredible view and quiet setting, was the perfect fit for our family of five to enjoy a few days of spring break vacation. Spring weather in the Puget Sound is mercurial, but we got lucky with three clear, albeit chilly, days to enjoy kayaking the bay and watching seals, bald eagles, and other wildlife. We would not hesitate to return.

Absolutely wonderful!

I stayed with my family and parents at this magnificent home that just blew us away with the setting, the views, the wildlife and the comfort and decor of the home. We felt so so lucky to be there and spent the week talking about the changing tides, admiring our surroundings and playing in the water. It felt like we were staying in the home of a friend, not a rental and Cathy is so generous to open her cozy welcoming space to strangers like us. Can’t WAIT to come back!!

Perfect little lake getaway

What a peaceful and serene spot to relax! We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and in the living room just absorbing the beauty around us. Kitchen was well stocked and great for cooking family meals. I took my grandparents with me, and there's a bedroom and (not ADA) bathroom on the first floor which was convenient for them. The rooms upstairs were comfortable and lovely! I couldn't spot a heater upstairs, in case you run cold, but the living room fireplace was very nice on cooler evenings.

Peace and Memory-Making!

What an incredibly peaceful property and home! The view is amazing (and we didn't even see Mt. Rainier during our stay due to clouds - but the view was still beyond fantastic)! The rooms were comfortable, the decor was perfect, and the home was beautiful and clean. The mix of modern and vintage (those wall sconces were wonderful) was lovely. We loved our stay! Cathy is the most attentive VRBO host I have ever had the joy of encountering (and I have had a number of terrific VRBO hosts)! She is quick to respond to messages and so incredibly helpful and thoughtful! Both her character and the character of the home are gorgeous and welcoming. We also had a great time exploring the shore and discovering all kinds of crabs and shells!We are so grateful for our time at your home, Cathy! Thank you for sharing your extremely special, peaceful place with us!

I grew up in Gig Harbor and first visited Filucy Bay as a child. This house is around the cove from the summer home of my parents' best friends, so the area holds many happy memories for me. I am thrilled to have a home of my own here now, and happy to share it with those who know and love Filucy Bay, and those who soon will.

I love old houses and old, established landscapes. This house and its grounds were well loved and tended by its prior owners and I hope to continue that legacy.
