My family really enjoyed our time at this house! The rooms were by far the best part! All large and so many bathrooms it was perfect for a larger group. The location was great too! Hottub was warm, bbq had propane, and amenities were great.

This property was very clean and accommodating for our people and purpose. Our only disappointment was that the hot tub (one of our top three reasons for choosing this property) was not available to us.

perfect for our big family

Upon arrival the house was lovely. It was spacious, clean, and room for everyone. We did have a few mishaps with our stay that were not ideal, although communication was prompt and precise. The management made sure we were taken care of and that was appreciated. We will definitely come back again!

Family Reunion

The home is older, but comfortable. All essential appliances, dishes, pots and pans were available. There is a Safeway supermarket just a half mile from the rental. The beds were comfortable and accommodated our large group. It's location was ideal. The beach near the property was lovely and many other beaches and attractions are nearby. While there were some water views, you really don't look out on the ocean.

The Gathering Place

The VRBO was perfect for our family's needs and allowed everyone to come together to celebrate the lives of our parents in a meaningful way. The great room and kitchen area were the heart of the rental, providing ample space for everyone to gather and share stories and memories. We were able to display picture albums and posters of our parents' early days that added a special touch to the occasion and made it even more memorable. Thank you for providing such a welcoming environment for guests. I hope that others consider this VRBO rental for future family gatherings or getaways!

Location to the beach couldn't have been better! My only request is that for future large groups is that they supply a griddle or at least one more fry pan. I struggled with breakfast preparing with only one small fry pan. We would definitely stay here again.

Pelican Reach

Great house, but 3 flights of stairs to get to the main level was too much. No view of the beach really, which isn’t the fault of the property owners. Neighbors trees are very tall. Overall great place though. Huge kitchen and living area. Bring dish towels, we only had 2 for 5 days and dishes for 9 people.

Fantastic house for a large group

The house has ample room for gathering together as well as plenty of space for seeking room for separate activities. Very nicely furnished, and comfortable beds (although it’s always a good idea to bring your own pillow wherever you stay). Fully stocked everything. Friendly communicative host. Beach access close at hand, although not quite as close to the sand as the pictures allowed me to believe (my mistake, not a misrepresentation by the host). The neighborhood apparently has a 7pm noise restriction, which we tried to honor. Still, something to keep in mind if you’re at all a noisy bunch.

The guys had fun in the game room while the women had fun in the hot tub.The house is well equipped with everything you could need.We will be back every year to celebrate our birthday's. Our family of 13, with the 5BR 5.5 baths were perfect to accommodate our large family comfortably. The game room with the pool & card table were a hit with the whole family. 4 BR were on the middle level with 2 BR with 2 queen beds in each, great for families. The primary bedroom & bath was nice on the top level, although I found the bed a bit firm. The home, sheets & bedding were very clean. The kitchen was wonderful for a busy Thanksgiving dinner. All of us could sit together at the huge table. The seating is limited with 1 couch and 2 comfy chairs but the family time felt warm and inviting. The view of the ocean was really out of one side window in the living room as the bushes off the deck hide the homes below but also the view. The walk to the nearby beach was easy with smaller kids. There were some minor frustrating issues, as the code to enter the home wasn't working (as the number "7" only worked if held down longer til it beeped.) I had to call, leave messages & the management did contact me with every concern. The bedroom ceiling lights need to be checked. Bring personal hand, bath soaps, dishwashing & laundry soap. The samples were inadequate. A major issue was the dryer drum was off-kilter & put black marks on the towels we washed which was stressful. Hopefully, they fix the dryer as wet weather & a large group need to wash/dry clothes & towels. Basic maintenance needs checking each visit. We loved the home, hot tub & the atmosphere of a quality family home.
All of us fit around the table for Thanksgiving dinner!
The pool table was a hit.

paid $2k for a moldy house

Black mold growing all over windows and bath ceiling. Windows so dirty the view is blocked.

Great house, fully stocked

This is a very nice sized house. The location is very good with a very short walk to the beach. Safeway, Walgreens and the casino right down the road. Plenty of bathrooms. We had 3 families (related) that had 6 adults and 6 teenagers. More than enough beds. The basement game room is great (though kids these days prefer their phones). The kitchen has everything you should need. Everything worked well. The main room has lots of table and countertop space and plenty of seating. Great for game night! The ocean view is the only criticism. Pictures and title of the property will leave you a touch disappointed. The view is fairly limited. But I’d stay here again!

Hot tub not available

The hot tub was unavailable during our stay which was the main reason for renting this property. It would have been helpful to know this upon booking as we would have chose somewhere different. We were notified it was unavailable after it was too late to cancel . There was several dirty dishes in the cupboards etc that had to be washed before using and mold growing in the bathroom around the windows. The air hockey table is not stable and is being held up by 2x4’s . Our overall stay was good but the hot tub was a huge disappointment.
