Tenemos maravillosas vistas del océano y nuestra unidad ha sido recientemente remodelado, sin el aumento de la tarifa! Nuestra eficiencia está equipada con 2 camas queen, cocina completa y, nuevamente, fantásticas vistas del océano desde un balcón privado. Island Retreat cuenta con 2 piscinas en el sitio, barbacoas, pistas de tenis y un parque infantil. Despierta a los sonidos de las olas o dar un paseo relajante por nuestra junta paseos que conducen a la playa, que marca sus propias huellas personales en la arena. Familia Challenge y amigos para algunas actividades deportivas utilizando nuestro voleibol, baloncesto, petanca y pistas de tenis. Disfrute de la parrilla al aire libre por nuestras cabañas ubicadas alrededor de las áreas de la piscina y los jardines circundantes. Island Retreat tiene una caza del huevo de Pascua para todos los niños y los padres que sea memorable. Abril de fin de semana también tiene Sandfest donde se muestran bellas esculturas que son creados por los profesionales y los clientes vienen a celebrar el fin de semana. Once we found it, everything was very nice. It would have been nice to have better directions which I should have gotten before we started our trip, but I thought the address in the email was the correct one.

The condo was clean and very close to the short boardwalk to the beach. There were great sunrise and sunset views from the balcony. I would definitely come back and stay again. Check-in was easy. Check out was easy. Only downsides were: there was a leak from under the fridge, causing a puddle to form on the kitchen floor about once a day, so my son slipped and fell a couple of times in the kitchen. Also it seemed like the dishwasher was broken, couldn't get it to start after loading it at the end of our stay, and there was no alternative like a dish rack for hand washing. Aside from those things, it was great for me and my kiddo to stay the weekend. Thanks!

Great room with the best balcony view of the beach. It had everything we needed and the location was a quick drive to everything. It was also only about a 3 minute walk to the beach and that was fantastic. The pool was great too!We had one minor thing happen where the cleaning person was still there when we got there to check in, but the host Natalie made it right and was very quick/responsive about it. We would stay here again.. especially for that beach and sunset view!!

Sliding door was broke owner notified us a couple of hours before we arrived. If it's still broke DO NOT go out and close that door you will be stranded on the patio. No smoke detector. If you're just looking for a place to sleep and shower this place may be for you. It's obvious there is no pride and ownership. On a good note, it has a great view.

View is great! The condo could use some updates and repairs. Patio door handle was broken and the outlet on the wall looked like it had burn marks. When I contacted the owners, they already knew about the issues. Then our AC went out and we had to sleep with no air for one night…just fans. They got it repaired the next day.

This was our 4th time staying here I believe. We have always loved it & the owners. This time was way different with the condo itself. Much more run down. Sliding glass door would barely open or shut & was so dirty you couldn't see through it as well as the balcony itself. We were told about the door handle which we understand but accidentally shut it all the way once on the balcony and couldnt get it back open. Thankfully our teen son was inside and opened it. Window was broken, wall plug by bed looks like a fire hazard as you have to be careful when unplugging it or the whole thing wants to come out of the wall. There is spray foam all around it which doesn't hold it. Spray foam all down the wall beside the frig as well. No fire alarm which we did see in the top of a kitchen cabinet later on. One of the beds that our sons slept in seemed to be almost falling apart. Headboard leans a LOT & would bang against the wall just when sitting down on it so we had to pull it out some. Bed linens were nice and clean as well as towels. Bathroom still updated nicely but just for esthetics, the plunger & toilet brush so nasty and makes it feel gross when its not. I think the cleaning people were literally there maybe 15 min. We were a little early, around 3:30 but we saw them sitting a few vehicles down just sitting there smoking. They go in with what we think is clean towels/bed linens and withing 15 min are back out and sitting in van smoking again which is why it wasn't cleaned well.
Balcony hadn't been swept in forever it looked like which i swept it so we could walk out without tracking stuff in.

Overall Nice Stay

There were only a couple of minor things that needed attention- unfortunately the patio door was broken on arrival so opening and closing the door throughout our stay was difficult..otherwise it was nicely located off the beach. The shower to rinse off from the beach was broken so we had to use a water hose. Nice location & our family of 4 enjoyed it.

Beautiful Location, Poorly Maintained Property

The location of the property was great—it’s right by the beach, and the sandy shoreline made for a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, the condition of the property itself left a lot to be desired.Upon arrival, we noticed several maintenance issues. The screen door was missing entirely, which made it difficult to enjoy the breeze without letting bugs in. The toilet paper holder was broken, multiple outlet covers were either cracked or missing, dripping AC, and in some places, foam insulation was visibly coming out of the walls and outlets.Overall, the property felt neglected and not well-maintained. While the beach access was a plus, the interior condition did not meet expectations. Some basic repairs and upkeep could go a long way in improving the experience for future guests.

We live in Austin, Texas and found ourselves escaping to Port Aransas every chance we got. Since we enjoy it so much, it made sense to purchase our own piece of Paradise! Once we saw this unit, the view sold us and the pictures don't really do it justice. We are so pleased to be able to share our paradise with you and know you will enjoy it as much as we do!

We looked all over the island to find a condo that fit our needs. The view, private balcony and immaculate grounds primarily attracted us to this unit/complex. While looking at other complex surroundings, it was clear the cleanliness and proximity to the beach is by far superior at Island Retreat, in comparison to other complexes on the Island. We purchased unit 132, a few years ago. Our guests have enjoyed it so much and we find it hard to make time for our time, so we decided to purchase another unit. You will not be disappointed. This unit is spectacular and we know you will love it as much as we do!
