We were very pleased with the condo. It was clean and had everything we needed for our long weekend. We loved being able to see the Gulf from our room. During our stay only one elevator was working so that did cause long waits but that was the only issue we had.

We go to Fort Walton Beach Florida every year, this year we decided to stay at Gulf Dunes, it was a wonderful stay, so wonderful that we stayed an extra day and we will definitely stay there again.

Awesome beach vacations spot

This property is perfect for our annual girls trip. This is the second year that we have stayed at Gulf Dunes and we love it. It couldn't be more convienent, right on the beach and Stewby's (best seafood and hushpuppies ever) is a 2 minute walk from the condo. We will be booking at Gulf Dunes for our 2022 trip!

Clean and well kept

My husband and I took his parents with us and our children for a spring break getaway. I believe this is the first vacation condo/ house we have rented that had no complaints from my mother in law about cleanliness issues! The little restaurant across the street is great and it’s within walking distance of the Gulfarium and Boardwalk, which is a plus. Great stay!

Beautiful Beach view

We lived the location and the amenities of this location. The condo was pretty dirty though and they said they only clean walls and baseboards once year. Other than the super clean factor it was really nice.

Great stay

My mother, husband, and I stayed here for an "alternative" Thanksgiving this year and it was perfect. Everything was as we expected it to be. Coming from a more restrictive state, we were a little hesitant visiting during the Covid-19 pandemic since Florida has so few rules - but Publix and Wal-Mart both required masks and most people complied. Since we mostly stuck around the condo, golfed, and walked on the beach, we didn't feel that our Covid risk was increased at all.

The view in the units and the closeness of it on the beach. The resort is quite and not a lot of people. This is our 8th year to stay at this resort. All but one year was fabulous. The unit had bugs but all other years we have stayed was perfect. I will return again. One suggestion the only thing missing on these units is a hot tub.

This was the most well-stocked unit I’d been in. It had Very Comfortable furniture. Nicely decorated- not overly beachy. Dan, the beach chair man, was super nice and informative about storms coming. My out-of-state guests were first time visitors and had a great time.

Nice Stay

Everything was great. Only 2 small issues, one was a few of the dishes put away appeared to still be dirty. This was our 2nd time staying at Brooks and Shorey property and just got an email post stay about getting a discount next time because we've stayed there before. Why didn't we get a discount this time which was our 2nd time? Other than those 2 very minor issues the stay was great.

We had fun at the pool, tennis courts and volleyball net too. I think this might be one of the only places on the beach with a net! As for the room - also perfect, spacious, clean, organized and with everything you need. Love that it’s right across from mini golf and stewbys, too! Thanks for an awesome vacation! We will be back!

Did have a couple of complaints though such as the AC would only work half the time, the area rug in the living room was very dirty so your feet would be black afterwards. Great Rental for a Christmas Holiday

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was everything we wanted for the season. The unit rated a 10 in my opinion for layout and amenities. We love this location as it is away from the hustle of Destin yet easily accessible. Alliances were up to date and the cookware was useable which is not often the case. I probably wouldnt rent at the height of beach season as is right above the pool and would get quite noisy. I would definitely recommend this unit and will request it again for a great winter vaca to the beach.
