This place was perfect! Kitchen was fully stocked! Nice towels,sheets, extra pillows, fan for sleeping! Nice patio and front porch! Perfect to walk downtown South Haven! Quick drive to Sherman’s ice cream! Drive way was VERY tight! We have a large truck/SUV and could barely fit in driveway! We will definitely stay here again!

Great, except the drive way, it is narrow, we drove a honda crv and scratched one of the outside mirrors on the fence.Otherwise, the air conditioning was great, and all the other important things were wonderful.

Extremely clean and well kept property....snacks/bottle of wine waiting to greet us . Very nice. Only thing parking is very narrow...we just had 1 car so it was not a problem. You can walk to downtown ,farmers market and beach pretty easy..

Wendy's Cottage is spacious and cozy. Great location with an easy walk to restaurants and shops. Check in was easy and Trish was very quick to respond with any questions.

Very nice and cozy location. Within walking distance of everything. Has back patio and kitchen. Also many board games. I saw folks talking about the driveway but we had a Pacifica and it fit in the driveway, just couldn’t go back all the way but it didn’t ruin a thing. Communication with host was always fast and friendly.

Great house! The driveway is a bit tricky to get out of, but otherwise it was perfect for a long weekend away. Great location, clean and comfortable.

Had the best time staying at Wendy’s Cottage. The back patio was a great place to hang out in the evening and downtown was just a short walk away.

Great house to stay in - it is very well maintained, clean, and has everything you need. Only challenge was parking/the driveway which was tight to drive through. As a heads up - if you have a large SUV like I did, it will be extremely difficult to park.

Clean house, good bedding. The only downside was parking. Location is on Phoenix Street and a very narrow lot with an even narrower driveway.

Charming touches, older home

Lots of great artwork and charming details. Clean and fully stocked with lots of the things we needed. Driveway is narrow and very short. This is the main road that feeds into downtown South Haven. We have an SUV and it was hard to go in/out. This proximity to downtown made it convenient to walk there - 10-15 min walk. We had a noise machine so that helped block out the sounds of cars driving by while we were sleeping. Without it the cars driving by may have kept us awake. The front porch is very charming with swing and rocking chairs. My daughter said it reminded her of “Up” the movie. Didn’t enjoy sitting out there because road was busy but it was cute photo opp for the kids! Great big deck and large patio dining set. Big yard! It’s is an older home (as most are in the area) and they did a good job maximizing and decorating the spaces. They are small though. Bathroom has no counter spaces just sink. No tub, which is ok for age for our kids but if someone had babies or toddlers no tub may be hard. Bedrooms had no dresser drawers - so we just put our clothes in separate small piles on the shelves in the closet. We made do, but wanted to note as it made it a tad challenging to get situated with our things. Mattresses could probably be replaced ours was slightly sinking in the middle. Overall a clean and stocked house for our stay. Proximity to downtown was great and very short drive to beach. The host was very responsive.

Clean and welcoming

We felt at home immediately! Very clean and comfortable vibe. Loved having two bathrooms with thick towels. Nicely decorated, too. Be aware that the house is on the 4 lane main road leading into South Haven.

Cute House/Good Location

The property was very nice. Two bedrooms with queen/full beds, plus another queen/full in a loft area outside one of the bedrooms. Two full baths with showers. Our family of 4 never ran out of hot water. Host was nice enough to stock the fridge with bottled water and left some snacks to enjoy. The walk to downtown South Haven was no more than 15 minutes, which was great when we didn't feel like driving. We drove to the beach, but parking was easy to find. A lot of reviews mentioned the narrow driveway, which is true, but not a big deal. Overall, a wonderful place to stay. We would stay here again.

Wonderful Cozy Cottage

Wendy’s cottage was a wonderful place to stay while visiting South Haven. It was clean and cozy. We were within walking distance to downtown where there’s many restaurants and shops. We and our friends are walkers and bikers and this property was close to walking and biking paths. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in South Haven. The cottage had so many personal touches we felt right at home.

Loved the cottage.

We loved this well stocked and gorgeous cottage. We are used to staying closer to town, but we’re able to walk most everywhere. The driveway was very narrow for our SUV, but we made it work. Would definitely stay again.

Lived South Haven. Really enjoyed Wendy’s Cottage

Wendy’s Cottage was delightful. Super clean,well equipped and quite charming. When we absent mindedly locked ourselves out they responded to us immediately. Problem solved. I gave the location a 4 only because the street was so busy. Walkable location to so many things was great!

Nice and clean property, small driveway situation.

Our Toyota Tundra did not fit in the driveway between the fence that is next door and the house. Wehad to park with the tail end of our vehicle sticking out onto the sidewalk. We also found it extremely dangerous to back out from this location onto the busy street. Just a heads up if you have a wide vehicle/truck, this was kind of a bummer and I felt like that should be mentioned in the listing. The rest of the house was very nice and clean and we enjoyed the use of the back deck that was private. No issues other than parking.
