NICE RELAXING STAY

We appreciate that the Owner adjusted our arrival & departure time to accommodate our medical situation. We enjoyed our 4 week stay along with the couple that joined us for a week. The neighborhood is pretty quiet. The pool was great after the pool guy turned off the “maintenance cycle” and allowed controls to work. Pool photo shows a lot of foliage that is no longer there. House/property does needs some TLC.

Wonderful vacation

We had a fantastic holiday, everyone loved the pool and hot tub. The backyard was fabulous with a nice view of the canal. Fantastic neighborhood and lots of great neighbors that made us feel very welcome. There were a few hiccups at the beginning mainly with the pool that were taken care of by Norman & Megan. The house could use a good cleaning and some updates and some kitchen necessities were missing which we had to purchase. That being isaid we spent the majority of our time outside by the pool and had a great time!

Well-maintained home on quiet street. Good location for golf.

The house was perfectly clean on arrival and Tonnie, our contact throughout the week was there to greet us and explain the use of the pool and hot tub. There were 4 of us staying from Indpls. To golf and visit other friends in the area. The location was good, although expect to share the roads w many other drivers in this high population area. Weather was perfect and we had a great week. Only complaint about the house was a lack of sharp knives for food preparation. Overall very well - maintained property.

Location was great. Outside pictures need updated. Inside needs a good cleaning. We only saw pool cleaning person once, after calling to tell owner it was turning green. Outdoor wicker furniture needs replaced. Took over a week to get password for internet service. Owner needs to responed a little quicker when there are problems.

With the hot humid weather in Cape coral it is normal to see the pool water have a slight green hughe. please don't be concerned. we regularly clean our pool and our furniture. Host ghosted us - would rate a negative if possible

The day before we were supposed to check in I sent a message to the host because we didn't receive the check in instructions. After not hearing from him, I followed up shortly before check in time. At check in time, when we STILL hadn't heard anything I tried to call him and then called VRBO who also tried to call him. Once they could not reach him, they said they would cover 2 days of accomodations until we found another option or heard from the host but since it was spring break time, there were no available houses on VRBO. We found a house that was not with Vrbo which we ended up going with although VRBO said all they would do is refund us in 15 days! what good does that do us for this vacation. Completely dissatisfied with VRBO and this host. We paid for the house in full based on the terms of the contract and when the host fails to keep our reservation we don't even get our money back promptly so we can use it to rebook something else. I would not recommend this host!

We loved our stay. The house had everything we needed! Great location. Loved the pool and hot tub and canal! The master bedroom was huge. A more comfortable bed would be nice but overall great! Thank you!

Appreciative of being in Florida with a few hiccups.

We are a Northern Michigan family w/ a 6 & 2 y/o that looked forward to & did enjoy our time escaping clouds & snow for Christmas 2021 (#riseofCOVIDomicron). Norman kept our lines of communication open. We were nervous upon arrival that the safety net was not up around the pool. Norman happened to be in town and put it up for us upon my request. Norman also came over & did a “bug treatment” after I noted the tiniest ants marching in the kitchen cabinets, on the ground, & in the master bathroom. Whatever he did slowed them for a few days. However, they were still present. I was especially careful to keep food off the floors & counter & invested in disinfectant wipes I used liberally. Happily, I was able to use some of the provided washer pods to remedy the situation, but we were disappointed to find some of our bedding was dirty upon the first night. Norman was receptive of my report about the leaking master sink, lack of water pressure & lack of sink stoppers in that same sink & the tedious position we had to leave the working master sink to prevent its leaking, & the rocking toilet, but we did not see any resolution of these issues while at the house. Additionally, the oven stopped working, the garage access door handle would fall off, the master hand-held shower head was broken, we never got the jets to work on the hot tub, the granite shelf on the hot tub was loose, and there were loose tiles in the house. I was disappointed to have chosen the home with the promise of bikes & kayaks in the listing only to find they weren’t there. Florida tasting water led us to buy a stand alone PUR filter that we left for the next guest. I did deeply appreciate Norman’s flexibility in allowing me to have my parents and brother join us when I didn’t know until just before we arrived that they could join us (still within the 7 guests..but not counted in my initial reservation.) I also loved having laundry pods, dishwasher pods, the noisy appliances to use them in, and enough trash bags for our two week stay. We bought liquid hand soaps for the kitchen and master. We loved and appreciated the ability to program pool and spa heating (thank you!) Overall , we did have fun in the area and appreciated the home for the stay! Thank you!

Loved this property

Loved staying here. Pool/hot tub was amazing. The neighborhood was very quiet. We liked watching boats and wildlife in the canal. It was close to everything, including the beach! The only downfall was our AC unit stopped working. Luckily it wasn’t too hot while we were in Florida, otherwise it would’ve been an issue (with having a 6mo old baby in the house). Landlord did not fix it or send anyone out, he just said it freezes up when you have it set too low (it was set at 73 the whole time we were there). Neighbors also called and complained we have “too many” cars, we were there visiting family so having people over was to be expected. Other than that we had a great time!

beautiful location

We had a wonderful stay. The pool was amazing and my husband enjoyed fishing and just sitting by the canal. Saw lots of wild life. We had to leave a week early because of the coronavires outbreak, but the owner offered us a week stay. That warmed my heart how people are coming together during these difficult times. I certainly would return.

Wonderful Vacation!!

Beautiful home and very spacious. The pool and hot tub were awesome!! Came to Florida to relax and that’s exactly what we did!! Grocery Store right around the corner. (Only thing that would have been nice would have been a small bottle of washing detergent. We would definitely return to this beautiful home!!

Great layout, awesome outdoor area, very clean home, just missing a few extra touches.

We just returned from a few days at this home and had a great stay! Upon arrival, the home was impeccably clean and welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels, beds were nice and the layout was great for our family of 6. Kids enjoyed the pool/hot tub each day; the outdoor space is the highlight of the property! Very relaxing! The inside could use a little updating -the furnishings are dated. And hooks to hang wet clothes/towels/jackets on would a plus for the inside! After reading reviews, we did purchase our own paper towels and t.p. as they do not provide much. And the t.p. was the cheap, 1-ply stuff. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of. Beaches are a good 30 mins away and traffic was heavy so it took us over an hour each way. Obviously it was spring break, so that's why, but we didn't anticipate that kind of a commute to the beach. Overall a good stay. Tonni gave lots of good suggestions and knew the area well.

In need of many maintenance projects

The pool is the highlight. From there it is a stretch to be two stars. Broken vertical blinds. A ceiling fan in one bedroom that only operates on high. Floor tiles that crunch when you step on them because the mortar below them has broken free. Many weeds growing in the pavers around the pool. The worst thing was a property manager who ignored our direction to not have a minor repair made while we were not present with our valuables.

Good Location / Nice Pool Area

Really enjoyed staying at this property. Good location for our plans for the week. Easy to go north or south from this house. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking if you choose. Plenty of towels for the awesome hot tub - that we used every night! Also enjoyed that it was not so hot, so we could open up the patio doors and enjoy the outdoors while we were inside! What a treat for us northerners who would be experiencing snow and cold if we were home! Each day when we left the house or went outside I smelled what I think were Lilacs by the garage - Loved that smell. Nice Office area - we worked remotely for part of the week and the house worked well for that plenty of room for each of us to be in our own space to get a lot done - the Internet speed was perfect - lightning speed! It was nice to have the grocery store right on the corner as well as Target and a few restaurants. Cape Coral has many nice restaurants to enjoy. Tonnie was so friendly and welcoming as well as accommodating with our schedule. Only complaint was noise from dogs barking across the canal. We do not own dogs, so not used to the noise these guys could make. Also - quote a few cob webs in the pool area, but those can be addressed with the broom! Would definitely consider renting this house again if we are ever in the area.
