The views delivered! Glorious Mountain View sunsets by the fire. Our teens enjoyed their upstairs man cave and private rooms and bathroom and ample WiFi. We enjoyed the full kitchen, laundry, well stocked paper goods, linens, games and expertly clean home. Peace and privacy overlooking the lake and mountains. Biked the cotton valley rail trail and visited the Gilford Village Store. Highly recommend both! Would absolutely return if it weren’t so far from home.

Wonderful Getaway from the City

Some friends and I wanted to get away from Boston to a quieter relaxing area. The location was perfect. It was a wonderful quiet neighborhood with amazing views from the back deck. There are some adorable shops around the town as well as a very short drive away from the lake and other water activities. It rained one day but there were plenty of things to do around the house like games.

YaYa Gathering

We came to Gilford for our annual Yaya gathering of 4 lifelong friends. The hosts made the check in process so easy and the star of this property is the beautiful view from the deck of the Lake- it doesn't disappoint. the home has many personal touches and had everything we could ask for! Was a wonderful space to relax and visit.

Enjoyable stay at this house near Gunstock

The house was cozy and had an amazing view like many of the reviews noted. We really appreciated that it was a very short drive to Gunstock where our kids were in ski school.The kitchen was well stocked with spices and coffee. We had minor trouble the day of the check-in due to driveway not being plowed. Robert sent someone later that evening and offered us a later check out time on departure.

Perfect

This house was perfect for our family of 7, us and our adult children and spouses. The beds were comfortable, description was accurate, check-in was easy, and Rob was great to deal with. The view from the deck is amazing and there is a lot to do in the area. Will definitely rent again.

Loved the Modern Swiss Chalet

We loved everything! The only thing was we did run out of dishwasher detergent but was not sure if that was something we we were supposed to bring or not. Very minor issue. We loved the views and location. Would highly recommend to anyone else.

Absolutely perfect stay — from the check in to check out — can’t recommend it enough. The home itself is well maintained, fully stocked, nicely laid out and cozy. The views, magnificent. Robert was great to interact with and there to help with anything. Highly recommend!

Great family getaway

This place was just what my family needed to escape for a summer vacation. Plenty of living space for our group, common area worked for all of us together. Spent the evening around the firepit. Wish we had had better weather so we could really appreciate the view, but was still lovely even in the rain. Having the master downstairs so the younger generation could have the area upstairs was very useful. The beds were incredibly comfortable- the couch too. Being in the mountains did mean you had to drive a little to get to things to do. Would be a good winter getaway - really close to the ski resort. The time went by fast - could easily have spent the rest of the week there.

Ok, so in simple terms and without exaggeration, the views on this property are just spectacular. You will notice from the time you pull up to the driveway and throughout every room. The property has mesmerizing views of both Gunstock and Lake Winnipesaukee. In one word, captivating. The home has been meticulously maintained and newly renovated throughout including all new appliances, televisions and furnishings. Both Andrea and I absolutely love this home and wish to share it with you and your family.

Nestled atop of Gunstock Acres, less then 2 miles from the mountain. The property is located about 5 miles from Laconia and 5 minutes from the lake. In the Winter, enjoy skiing, driving snowmobiles across the lake, snowshoeing and tubing. Very convenient to Weirs beach attractions as well. This place has it all.
