Villa Perla Del Lago: villa principal - vistas al lago, piscina, jacuzzi, máx. 14 personas

"Villa Perla del Lago" fue construido en torno a 1920 y ha pertenecido a la familia de los propietarios desde 1950. En 2011-2012 fue completamente reestructurado, pero al mismo tiempo el mantenimiento de muchas de sus características distintivas originales. Se coloca en un espléndido lugar iluminado por el sol justo por encima de Domaso en el lado occidental del lago de Como y ofrece a sus visitantes una impresionante vista del paisaje completo: por un lado se puede admirar la parte superior del lago a partir de la desembocadura del río afluente Adda y en Por otro gaze sur hasta Bellagio. La reciente restauración de la villa ha conservado y reformado parcialmente el estilo Liberty, que era típico de las villas de Lago Como a principios de la década de 1900: las pinturas en las paredes y techos, los muebles antiguos de los dormitorios, las puertas y de la escalera de piedra llamativa . Mientras se mantiene este estilo que hemos tratado de crear un ambiente cómodo y funcional y por lo que la cocina y el baño están decoradas con elementos modernos y prácticos.
Desde la primavera de 2016, la villa puede recibir un máximo de 14 personas, ya que también se ha completado el ático. Por favor, pregunte por las tarifas!

The perfect quiet getaway

I just spent a week enjoying the peace and tranquility of Lake Como in this villa. Romina and Fabio were marvellous, the property perfect, and the whole experience a delight. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

Lake Como

My family made plans to visit Lake Como before Covid changed the world. I chose to stay at Romina’s beautiful villa 3 years ago and was determined to get there this year. Romina was an exceptional host . The villa was exactly as it was presented in photos and more. The views were amazing ! We absolutely loved the villa and it’s location. I felt so blessed to have had the opportunity to visit such a beautiful place. Missing you already Romina. Thank you !!!!

Perfect

A wonderful property in a great location with stunning views of the lake and alps. We could never tire of the view from the veranda when we sat our for dinner every night. The property was clean and well equipped and the hosts very attentive and dealt with our needs immediately. If anything the description of the property undersells it. There is no mention in the details of the gym equipment on the open covered veranda next to the hot-tub, the football pool or the sand pit. My only complaint would be that we had to pay for additional electricity as we went over the 45kWh included in the price, which isn't clear from the description. I do understand why there is a limit with energy prices so high, but we did not use electricity wastefully, so I think the inclusive amount is too low. Having said all that, thank you Romina for a lovely stay. This property and location is not too be missed. I would recommend without reservation.

schönes Haus mit schöner Umgebung und tollem Seeblick

Wir verbrachten eine schöne Woche in der Villa Perla Del Lago. Das Haus hat sehr viel Platz aussen und innen und einen wunderbaren Seeblick. Es war alles da was wir brauchten. Die Kommunikation mit Romina sehr unkompliziert und sie war sehr hilfsbereit. Danke für alles.

Judge and Jury

This property is in an enviable position looking over the northern part of Lake Como. The outside areas are great as is the kitchen, lounge and bathroom facilities. The bedrooms are traditional in their feel. There is no practical on site parking although parking is available nearby up a steep cobbled path on a first come first served basis. This is not ideal if you have anyone in your party who has mobility issues. However, the whole experience for our party of 7 has been tarnished by what has happened since we returned home. On our return we had an email from Romina with some photos asking why we had not told her about the damage we had allegedly caused. This came as a complete shock to us as we had no idea how or when the cracks had appeared or been caused. We certainly had not seen them prior to our departure. I will try and include the photos we were sent. We have since spoken to people in the building trade and they have all advised that in their opinion the damage which are vertical symmetrical cracks in the walls either side of a bedroom doorway, look structural. The room in the picture is an upstairs bedroom and was occupied by 2 adults and their young daughter. Despite having advised Romina that her photos were the first time we knew of the damage she has laid the blame for it solely on our shoulders and taken the majority of a sizeable deposit we had paid up front. We have asked for a copy of the invoice but this has not been forthcoming. The whole affair has left a very bitter taste for us and it is obvious that we have no recourse in this matter and so we are left adrift and out of pocket..This whole episode has been extremely upsetting for our party and has made us nervous of making another booking. Even if we had taken loads of photos the area where the reported damage was located was in such a strange area we probably would not have thought to have taken a photo of that area. In conclusion If you do choose to stay at this property we would recommend you take as many photographs as you can, especially of the bedroom door frames.

Beautifully sited and appointed property villa.

We have recently returned from a weeks holiday in this beautiful villa which has been very well renovated and decorated in true Italian style. It is very spacious, clean and the modern kitchen came fully equipped with everything you could possibly need ...and more! Romina and Fabio (the owners) even stocked the American style fridge/freezer and cupboards with some essentials, including a bottle of prosecco ! The views from the villa are breathtaking. The garden is very well maintained with a large lawn and terrace and with a more than adequate undercover dining area. The decking area was clean and sheltered. Fabio came early every morning to maintain the pool. Please be aware that the pool is solar heated and although we had good weather for September, the pool was very cold. The hot tub was a massive hit with our family. Who could not sit and relax in 40c with a chilled glass of wine and absorb the beautiful views of the lake (even in the rain)! The villa is set in an elevated position about 15 minutes walk to a large supermarket (which we discovered closes for 3 hours over lunch). Romina and Fabio were extremely helpful in providing us with a lift back to the villa with all our food and wine. Good restaurants can be found down by the nearby ferry port, again around 15 minutes walk away. Romina and Fabio made us truly welcome. They were incredibly attentive but by no means intrusive. They live approx 200 metres from the villa and we used WhatsApp to converse with Romina. Romina speaks excellent English and was more than happy to make restaurant and taxi bookings. She can even arrange for a chef to come and cook for you in the villa should you so wish. We would highly recommend this villa and hope to return.

Exquisite All the Way Around!!

Exquisite villa. Absolutely the most beautiful, most well kept villa in which we have ever stayed. Picturesque cobble walkways into town, stunning views from the veranda, wonderful meals sitting in the covered pergola...Rooms were huge, spartan and extremely comfortable with beautifully done ceilings and wood floors. Kitchen had all of the amenities that you could want. The pool was refreshing and cleaned every morning by Fabio, Romina's husband. Domaso is such a lovely town and walking in the hills at Vercana was absolutely delightful. Really, I could go on and on about how comfortable and happy we were to be in such a magical place. Romina was accommodating in every possible way and a very warm host. We will stay at Villa Perla Del Lago again.

STUNNING VILLA IN A SUPERB LOCATION WITH INCREDIBLE VIEWS

The five of us had a lovely weeks holiday, 13th to the 20th May, in this superb villa with breathtaking views. Luckily for us we had 26c and sun for 6 days, only 1 day of rain. The location of the villa is excellent but due to the villa being positioned on a hill with very cobbled paths it would not be ideal for people who are not able to move around well. To reach the villa from the small car park you need to walk a short way down a narrow cobbled path. Other than that it was just brilliant with the best views of any villa I have ever stayed in. The photos of the villa speak for themselves or though I would just add a couple of the cobbled path outside just so people are aware. All in all you will not be disappointed, enjoy the views, jacuzzi, sun beds, bbq, outdoor dining, good size bedrooms and kitchen plus new modern bathrooms. The supermarket can be seen from the villa, approx' 10mins walk or 4mins in the car, downhill. Approx' 15mins walk to the lakeside. If we ever went back to Lake Como, this is where we would stay again.

Magical!

This was the second time we have stayed at this wonderful home, the hosts Romina and Fabio cannot do enough to make you welcome. From the moment you drive up the hill to see that wonderful view you feel like you have found your own piece of paradise with the amazing view of the lake and mountains. The property is home from home you want for nothing here, the beds are very comfortable and all facilities are top class. The property now benefits from a wonderful hot tub facing the view where you can sit and chill in the evenings. We will definitely be back and hope to see you both soon! The Smith Family (Liverpool)

A Lovely Property with Perfect Views

We couldn't have been more pleased with this property. It maintains it original charm, while updating every amenity for the modern traveler. The bathrooms and kitchens are new and modern. They are well stocked. We used the outdoor charcoal grill and made delicious pork chops. Romina and her husband are excellent hosts, there to answer any questions but never intrusive. We even used the washer and dried the clothing outside in the lovely fresh air. The views are priceless with mountain and lake visible all day long. We stayed in the fall and the area was quiet. Unfortunately we had a large van which had to be parked up the hill and you had to walk down to the villa. It wasn't difficult but less convenient than parking in the villas private parking lot. The vehicle was simply too large to fit through the narrow entryway. I would certainly recommend the villa to anyone and would gladly stay there again and again. Great job to the renovators and the property managers.

What a house, what a view

Stayed together with my family for a week in this beautiful house. We were six adults and two small children and the house was more than big enough. The house is “old fashion”, modern and very clean and fresh. The house is perfect situated close to the village and have a wonderful view to the lake. We spend most of the time on the terrace and the nice garden with the pool and hours on just enjoying the terrific view. We have rented many nice and beautiful summer houses, but this beats them all. Romina, the owner is welcoming and helpful and did what she could to do our stay easy and relaxed. Can recommend a stay here, we will certainly come back.

Great holiday from the beginning to the end. The villa is fantastic with everything you may need whether you decide to cook or have a barbecue at home. if you decide to go out and explore this beautiful part of Italy, Romina and her husband are very friendly and full of useful tips and suggestions. Stunning villa with fantastic views

We have just stayed at Villa Perla del Lago for a fabulous week. The villa is beautiful and so well equipped, we could not have wanted for anything more. The views from the gardens/terrace are stunning, you never get bored watching the lake and mountains as they change throughout the day. Domaso has all you need within walking distance but with a car it is perfectly situated to explore the gorgeous towns/villages dotted around the lake shores. We also used the ferry to visit Bellagio and hired a boat from in Domaso itself for a fun few hours on the lake. Romina was friendly and so helpful right from our very initial enquiry through to when we said goodbye to her on our last day there. We look forward to returning very soon and can't recommend the villa or Romina enough.

Excellent

We booked a holiday in Lake Como and stayed at Villa Perla del Lago. The holiday was to celebrate a couple of special birthdays and also a family break. The villa is very well equipped, well maintained and comfortable. The three double rooms and three bathrooms, (all modernised) which was exactly what we were looking for as there were three couples. The views from the villa were breath-taking - you could look down to the village, to the snowy mountains and the serene lake. Romina, the owner, was very approachable, always warm and friendly and willing to help in any way she could. The restaurants and supermarket are all within walking distance. We had a couple of BBQs during our stay and enjoyed the evenings in the garden and terrace. A beautiful location, we had an amazing time and may return one day. Thank you Romina for your excellent hospitality.

Fantastic

This is a fantastic villa. The kitchen was modern, as were all 3 bathrooms. Decoration was simple but stunning. It was central for day trips to Tremezzo, Como and the other towns on the West side of this lake. Views from the villa were stunning and there were plenty of trails and walks. The owner Romina was wonderful and made herself available whenever we needed her. Pool was great and the garden ( very well kept),was great for the children to play in. There was also an outside eating area that was beautiful and perfect for eating outside. Overall, we had a wonderful stay with all the family and will definitely be coming back. Thank you Romina for renting this beautifully restored villa to us.

Amazing!!!

From booking to leaving this lovely villa, the owner Romina was always easy to contact and helped in every way she could right up to our arrival. On our arrival the views took our breath away! the photographs could never do this magical place justice! We had views from every window. The villa was immaculate with every amenity you will ever need, the kitchen was modern as were the bathrooms all three of them! The terrace was a lovely large space looking at the amazing views and a lovely eating area which looked out to the lake where the moon shone onto the water. The pool was a lovely place to relax and look out onto the lake. Domaso is north of the lake where you can hire boats, there's a local supermarket nearby for those essentials. Thank you Romina for allowing us to use your beautiful home we will certainly be back! The Smith Family
