Thank you for staying with us and for the kind words about the home, location, cleanliness, and our communication. We do wish you had reached out during your stay about the kitchen items, room temperature, or beds. We’re always available to help, and most issues can be addressed quickly while guests are still at the property. We were surprised by the kitchen feedback, as the home is fully stocked with utensils for well over 10 guests, along with the standard pots and pans needed for normal cooking. We’ll still take another look to make sure nothing has gone missing or needs to be replaced. Mattress comfort is very subjective, and most of our guests tell us they find the beds very comfortable. Regarding the room temperature, the home has central air conditioning and normally cools very well. Like many two-story homes, airflow can be affected if exterior doors are left open for extended periods or if the upstairs vents are significantly adjusted, which can change the balance between floors. Had we known the rooms felt warm, we would have been happy to help troubleshoot the system and get the airflow balanced. We appreciate the feedback and are glad you enjoyed the home overall.

Hi Beth and Trey, Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. And thanks for the feedback. If you don't tell us (good and bad) we can't improve and make your next stay perfect! I do want to address all your concerns: -No broom: our housekeeper locked it in the maids closet by mistake. We normally have one out! -No lamps on the bedside tables: we didn't include since all rooms had overhead lights. Thanks for the feedback, we will have to add bedside lamps. -No fence in the backyard: there is a back fence. We are adding side fences later this year. -Dead palm tree: sorry for the inconvenience. We have a new tree on order. -House further from the beach than expected: wish we were closer. That being said, we are a gentle 10 minute walk from the beach, many people rent golf carts (a rental place is next door), and you can drive on the beach. Also, properties closer to the beach cost a lot more per night....

We appreciate your feedback regarding the noise in the neighborhood. It typically isn't that noisy. Your stay was during spring break, the noisiest time of year on the island. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed the house and found the fishing opportunities excellent. You're absolutely right about the beach. While it's a walkable distance (about 10 minutes), I agree that driving can be a much more convenient option, especially when carrying stuff. It's how we usually get to the beach ourselves. The ability to park directly on the beach is great, and the one-time parking fee is a small price to pay for the convenience it provides for the entire trip.
