Location was perfect but house keeping and beds left us ready to come home.

The location and overall grounds of the condo were perfect. It was centrally located to many activities, the pool area was amazing, and the beach was perfect. The hitch to this trip was the overall experience of the condo. Upon our arrival it was clean but after only an hour in the condo our feet were black from the floors being so dirty. When you looked closer you could tell it was lightly mopped. In addition the beds were horrible. The mattresses where extremely uncomfortable having us contemplating leaving early. You can feel every spring in them and are jostled every moment of the other person in the bed The other mind blowing portion was that some of the beds were only made with sheets and no comforter (thicker blanket). When asked about it the property managers stated that they do not communicate with the cleaners so they would have no idea. They did offer to bring them to us but seemed inconvenienced and were not kind nor apologetic of the situation. Overall the cleanliness of the condo was not a place I would book again. When you consider the price for the condo for a week the beds and cleanliness were less than mediocre at best. As a family of 7 those are important factors for us while traveling but may not be for others but this was my take on our experience and review.

Family beach trip

When we arrived, the security guard informed us that we had to pay a 50 parking fee, which was not disclosed on the front page. When we entered the house, we realize the floors had not been cleaned so we decided to check the bed linens which were also dirty. The kitchen and one bathroom was clean. One bathroom was dirty. Contacted panhandles and they could not get sheets out to us until 11 PM that night. Cleaning crew would not be able to come until the next day so we went to the store and bought a mop and cleaned it ourselves. The next morning, the elevators broke and we had to walk down 14 flights of steps. Finally got one elevator working, but it was a disaster with only one working elevator and a large unit so we walked down the steps most of the time and waited 20 to 45 minutes every time to go up. Will never stay here again.

Maintenance needs to do their job

Subpar, kitchen, air conditioner, filter and air conditioner were filthy, broken towels, missing, lightbulbs, rusty, shower rods, beds were missing pieces, popcorn, falling off the ceiling, standing water with mold in the air conditioning, closet, mold on the walls, air conditioning closet. The condo in the people were very nice but lack of communication with the host and the unit needs to be updated and gone through maintenance is definitely drop the ball

Vacation

Overall we had a good stay. Couple of minor issues that can be easily corrected: 1. None of the bedroom doors lock 2. The sliding glass door to the balcony in the living room is very difficult to close Big issue: the elevator! There are only 2 elevators which is not adequate for the amount of guests that stay in the condo. Otherwise everything is just as the pictures look. Absolutely gorgeous view and the unit was very quiet.

The property was listed as the West corner of the building, which it was not, it was on the East corner. Huge difference! The kitchen supplies were a joke. We even had to purchase our own toaster. There was not enough silverware (4 forks) and the same with plates, etc. This place claims to have room for 10 people! The remote for the TV in the main BR didn't work and it wasn't batteries, we replaced them. The dishwasher was difficult to get started due to a touchy door. The dryer took two hours to dry anything because the vent in the outdoor ceiling was overflowing with dryer lint. I could go on and on but I think I've made my point. And then as a farewell gift we found a live cockroach in the kitchen! This place needs an overhaul!

Issues!!!

My friends and I paid over $2600 to stay here. It honestly wasn’t super clean, especially the bath tub. There were several holes in the walls and ceiling. We received 5 towels upon arrival when we had 10 people staying. The elevators broke down our week here. We were on floor 14 & had to walk down & up 16 flights of non-air conditioned stairs every time we wanted to go to the beach or pool area. One elevator finally worked again but we had to wait an hour + for it & get smooshed with 17+ people on it because everyone was so tired of waiting. Our WiFi didn’t work & neither did any of the 3 TVs in the condo. We reached out to the property management about all issues & they did little to nothing for us and we got zero compensation for all of our inconveniences. Sadly, I feel the need to leave a poor review so others can see! We will not be staying here again. I’d rather stay in the cheapest motel than climb 16 flights of stairs multiple times a day. It made going to beach seem not even worth it. We are very disappointed.

Our stay

The views were amazing! The location was good! The decor had a nice touch. However the floors were filthy. As soon as we got there the kids took their shoes off and within just a few minutes their feet were black. The walls were a beautiful beachy color but they definitely needed painting. We had to call maintenance immediately as the bunk beds were in terrible shape. Both ladders were loose and unstable for anyone to climb up and one of the top bunks was missing a slat and we were unable to let the kids sleep there. When I made the call to maintenance they said they would send someone out that evening or first thing the next morning. That never happened so I texted them again saying that we were short of sleeping space and that we would expect compensation for not having enough beds. Finally the next afternoon someone came and fixed it. So we went two out of the four nights with not enough sleeping space and paid almost $3000.00. Also couches need replacing as they were filthy. We would not stay here again.

Worst Room we have ever experienced in PCB

I’m not the person to typically write a bad review, but I wish I would have taken the bad reviews on this room more serious. No shower curtain in the guest bathroom, just a liner and no trashcan either. Nothing but a sheet on the guest bedroom. Every wall in the entire place is absolutely disgusting. Needs major cleaning and paint. BOTH of the kids bunks are broken. One has the rail broken off of the top bunk , and the other bunk the ladder is completely broken off and not attached to the bottom two steps. No tv for the kids. No hot water in the kitchen for dishes. The refrigerator doesn’t even keep things chilled much less cold. It leaks all over the floor ,and on the inside where the water filter is. The kitchen trash can is so tiny you can’t even fit one meal worth of garbage in it. NEITHER balcony doors have a lock at all!!! Very dangerous with younger children. Master bedroom again didn’t have anything but a sheet on it. Closet door is completely broken and the master door doesn’t lock. No dust pan was left for us to sweep up sand tracked in. This room needs some major attention. I read a lot of these problems in other reviews from months ago , and just assumed they would have been addressed by now. By far worst room we have ever experienced in PCB.

Family vacation 2020

The condo itself was nice, we loved it. However we were not given enough armbands, had to call rental managers several times to get the rest of our armbands and to get our parking passes, we were told they'd bring us 3 passes they only brought 2, so on top of how much we paid for the condo we had to pay extra for over flow parking during our stay.

Good stay, horrible service and parking

Condo is nice and in a good central location however we spent 2 days trying to get parking passes for the garage (they were supposed to be left in the room). We got numerous warnings on on our vehicles and they were fixing to tow them. I finally got in touch with them and they sent ONE parking pass for our group of 10.

Poor customer service

When we arrived the condo was under construction. Floor not finished, plastic covering everything, bed mess. I contacted panhandle getaways they did get us another condo in another location. But not in the area we wanted. Parking was very limited. When I called to voice my concern the assistant manager was very rude and hung up on me. I will never use panhandle getaways again.

July stay in PCB

Overall our stay was amazing. Despite the weather being a bit moody the condo was very appreciated. Little cons to the room was the master bedrooms door did not have a lock on it. The towel racks were coming off the wall in the master as well so we used them very little. The closet door was broken as well in the master so must use with care. The refrigerator light did not work. There were no spare linens for the pull out couch either. Other than these small cosmetic issues the room was amazing. Would stay here again. Close access to pier. Even with double red flags flying our last two days we still enjoyed the stay.

The condo had a wonderful view of the water, and comfortably housed our group. The unit was reasonably clean, but needs attention in the way of paint and other small details, and we also encountered roaches in the unit.

Great location but definitely has some shortcomings

We had read all previous reviews prior to booking, but upon arrival, we noticed that none of the things that were listed by other renters were fixed. The curtain rods are still falling out of the wall, walls need a new coat of paint, and the entire place could be cleaned better. Additionally, we noticed 4 roaches while were there. Place is very nice, great views but it felt dirty.

Tons of space.

The condo has tons of space. Enough room for all of us and the kiddos. The window in the kitchen/ living room is breath taking. We all enjoyed morning views from the window when it was windy and cold to go out on the balcony. An extra tv in the bunk room would be nice for the kiddos to watch and leave the main tv free.

Spacious and beautifully decorated condo conveniently located on the beach.

The condo was exactly as described! It was spacious, and it had all of the amenities that we needed during our stay. The hospitality app was very useful for information and communication during our stay.

Fun times

We went on a girls trip to this condo. It was super roomy and I would for sure stay again. The only complaints I have are there was no broom, the dryer knobs broke off, the door handle in the master bedroom was broken. The curtain rods were barely hanging on and it could use a fresh coat of paint. These are all things that just need some TLC. We call the property management company and they sent someone to look and we were told they would be back to fix it and never came back. All in all the condo was nice but these things made it a little stressful.

Fun stay, needs repairs

We had a great stay, our condo had beautiful views and great access to the beach and shopping centers. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were very spacious. Some things needed repairs such as the bedroom lighting in the master room and bathroom. The balcony door handle in master room was broken. Curtains rods were coming off the wall. The dryer did not dry our towels, it took 3 hours for the dryer to our towels dry. The elevator would not come to our floor because it was either shut down or maintenance was working on them. Maintenance also decided to paint the floors leading to our elevator on Saturday which made departure a pain on Sunday because we had to bring all our luggage down to the next level in order to get on the elevator. The sink in the main bathroom was plugged when we got here. The walls were very dirty also. All in all great place, but some things could have been better.
