Presentado a un alto nivel en todo, esta propiedad de 3 dormitorios es perfecto para cualquier estancia en la ciudad. Idealmente situado en la calle Blake está muy pocos minutos a pie de cualquier cosa que pueda desear para hacer en la ciudad.

Con su propia entrada privada a nivel de calle se toma una escalera inicial en el interior del alojamiento hasta el pasillo principal. En esta planta se encuentra el espacioso dormitorio principal con cama super king size, decoración moderna y TV de pantalla plana. El segundo dormitorio también se puede encontrar en esta planta, esta habitación se beneficia de tener una cama doble con una cama individual de arriba. Un cuarto de baño con estilo también está en la misma planta con suelo de baldosas parcial y ducha fija.

Una escalera alfombrada lleva hasta el segundo piso de la propiedad donde se encuentran el salón y la cocina. El salón cómodamente a 5 y cuenta con TV LCD y reproductor de DVD. Los beneficios de la cocina encimera de madera maciza, cocina de gas, horno, lavavajillas y frigorífico / congelador.

Una gran claraboya se sienta en la parte superior del tercer piso de la propiedad que permite un montón de luz natural. El tercer dormitorio espacioso se puede encontrar en este piso con cama doble, espacio para colgar, cajones y TV de pantalla plana montada en la pared. También hay un elegante baño con una gran ducha independiente y una bañera con patas de lujo. La característica final en la planta superior es una pequeña habitación completa utilidad con una lavadora y secadora por separado.

Aunque no hay estacionamiento con la propiedad, esto está disponible en el gran aparcamiento de Marygate (a solo 5 minutos a pie) por £ 12. 50 por día, incluso durante la noche. The house itself was lovely, warm and comfortable. There are lots of stairs over three levels to get suitcases up and down, but separate rooms and bathroom for the kids on the bottom floor was brilliant. I would give this house 5 stars, as the location was amazingly close to everything and the home itself was great, but there is a 24 hour Maccas across the road with revellers out until about 4 am, and then the garbage trucks, etc. from about 5 am. Earplugs are a must if you want to sleep, but other than that, we loved this place.

Storybook Amazing

100/10 we will treasure our stay in York. Your apartment was amazing we loved all the rooms and bathrooms and the kitchen. Yes there were a lot of stairs but the kids loved it we all did the different levels gave us space and added to the quirky York vibe. Right in the heart of York. Views out the bathroom windows in fact all the windows. Loveeed our stay Thank You

Noisy street!

Central location, lovely welcome hamper, everything well presented clean and tidy. However there were a few negatives to be aware of, lots of stairs inside, 24hr McDonalds directly outside with all noisy antics etc until early hours, then about 0600 the lorries, deliveries, street cleaners workmen etc start. Also sounds like a a seagull nest on the roof. The property is secondary double glazed which helps a little.

Spacious apartment - centrally located

This is a very spacious apartment in a fine old building. The central location near to the Minster is good but can be a bit noisy at the weekend and in the early morning.To deal with this the front facing rooms have triple glazing which helps with the noise, but would be a problem if you like a window open at night. The beds were comfortable. Sitting room sits 4 in comfort, 5 at a push. Furnishings a bit tired. Comfort is let down by very poor curtains which let in too much light from the street in 2 of the bedrooms. Kitchen equipment is minimal eg no chopping knives. We didn’t attempt to cook. Oddly there are bell answerphones on 2 levels which are active but there is no outside bell! Fortunately the knocker is quite loud as there is only one set of keys. Overall it is a good apartment which could be great with a bit of refurbishment.

Great City Centre location but with the noise to match

The property is right in the heart of the city so is a great place to easily explore all that York has to offer. There are reasonably steep stairs to the apartment and the apartment is on 3 floors. First floor has 2 bedrooms and a narrow bathroom. All of these were clean and tidy and comfortable. Door handles on some of the doors were loose and the bathroom lock could be dodgy so some simple maintenance required to make these better. 2nd floor has the lounge and kitchen areas. The lounge was comfortable and a good size but could do with a couple of extra comfortable chairs especially if more than 4 people are staying together. The kitchen has all you need in it but 2 of the folding chairs were broken. There were still enough good chairs though. Finally on the top floor is another bedroom, a bathroom and the utility room. Comfortable and good sized. Would benefit from some basic maintenance. The door to the bedroom is hanging off the top hinge so we decided not to touch the door meaning we could not shut it so could hear the machines in the utility room. The door to the utility room was missing the inside handle so, instead of putting on a new handle, the latch had been screwed open! Surely a basic job to put on a new handle which would have enabled the door to close minimising the noise. We liked the location apart from it is opposite a 24 hr McDonalds. This meant it was noisy especially at the weekends when there was loud talking and shouting right through the night literally until about 6am. Whilst the apartment has some secondary glazing some of this is ill-fitting so does not dampen the noise. You really do need earplugs if you want to get any sleep. If you don't mind it being noisy it is a great apartment that just needs some really basic maintenance to get it up to scratch. Would recommend it if it has the basic jobs completed and has a note regarding the noise levels on any advert for it

Faded luxury

Great looking apartment, amazing location, however we were let down by some small details which really impacted our stay - the kitchen was not as well stocked as we were expecting with no knives for chopping, however did have a bread knife and steak knives but only 4 spoons for a house that sleeps 6…the spare duvets had no covers on them, so not sure how they are kept clean between guests, the downstairs bedroom has curtains so thin, the lights were shinning straight through all night, coupled with the constant noise from loitering outside McDonalds meant very little sleep for the guests in that room. Tried swapping into the bunks at the back room, however the mattress in the bottom bunk was so awful, it could not be slept on by an adult. There were no lightbulbs in hallway/staircase and the dark grey walls were absolutely beautiful but quite dangerous, we had to use our phones as torches to get up and down. We arrived in the evening of a -6degree day and the heating was not only not on, it was broken and we had to call twice to have someone come to fix, which they did eventually. We stayed for 13 nights in total but there was no halfway cleaning as promised by the booking, also no broom or cleaning equipment so the apartment was absolutely filthy by the time we left. Such small details which are really easily fixed by the management team, hopefully they will see to these small things before the next guests arrive! Unfortunately we would not stay here again nor would we recommend it to others. Very disappointing considering the premium we paid to stay over Christmas.

Great spot!

The location was fantastic and the accommodations were excellent. One bathroom was a little small but that is likely because I’m used to much larger. Easy check in and check out. Will definitely look to stay here again on my next trip to York.

Noisy and smelly

Constant, very loud, drunken stupidity made for a pretty sleepless night. Opposite 24 hour McDonald's. Really strong room fragrance in the kitchen was really off-putting and made me wonder what smells they were trying to conceal. Window sills not clean.

Decent place, great overall location - terrible neighbors

So be prepared this street has no parking so it’s unload/load only and hope that you don’t do that on a Sunday when the street isn’t accessible. Lots of stairs in the property so be prepared. No AC or fans on hand so given it was a hot few days sleeping was uncomfortable. That was made worse by being opposite the only 24hr food place in York - so those fights, loud discussions, singing and crying went on till almost 4am most nights. 1st level bathroom is tiny. Not too bad but a lot of small things means I only say it’s a 2-3 out of 5 overall.

Great location but noisy!

A nice apartment in a great location but the McDonald's directly across the road is open 24 hours and it gets very noisy between 1am and 5am. The secondary glazing does little to reduce the impact and sleep is very difficult. The apartment is well furnished and equipped but maintainence is poor with several lights not working a shower tap that comes off in your hand and unusable power sockets. It has the potential to be a great apartment but probably best for those who don't intend to sleep much!

Needs some care & attention

The property was well situated (although youngsters outside McDonalds, which is directly opposite, were often very noisy!). It was clean & the beds comfortable but the sofa was very worn. It sleeps 7 but the lounge only has seating for four, or five if three people squash on the sofa. There was also a lack of crockery & glasses for that many. The shower curtain in one bathroom was only held up by about three rings & we had to screw the stair rail to the wall as it had become loose at one end & we felt it was dangerous. A shame as most of these complaints could be sorted with minimum effort & not a lot of money. It asks if I would recommend and the answer is only if there are four of you & some of the faults are rectified.

Excellent Location!

The apartment was in an excellent location, close to all the attractions, a bit noisy at times mainly late evening but that is what you expect in the middle of a city on a Friday & Saturday night, the apartment could have done with a higher standard of cleaning in certain areas, the apartment was very spacious, beds large and very comfortable, good quality linen and towels. The parking space was a 10 minute walk away but you could unload outside the property. A very enjoyable weekend.

Lovely apartment

This cozy apartment is wonderful if you want to stay in the centre of York. The only drawback is that it can be a little noisy since there is a Mcdonalds opposite which is open 24/7.

Lovely house in the centre of York.

Lovely house in the centre of York, great location and close to the Minster and shops. The only downside is the noise at night from the 24 hour Mc Donald's opposite. Very spacious, comfortable and well equipped spread over 3 floors. Would highly recommend it if you don't mind stairs and a bit of noise! We've stayed there 3 times now!
