I loved all the natural brick and rock. The balcony to the beach is fantastic! Right out the door is restaurants and shopping...fabulous!

The location was incredible! Private balcony overlooking the ocean and sunsets. Quiet and private in the early mornings and most evenings. Busy on holidays and weekends where people would even come all the way up to the private stairs and property to sunbathe. Music was played very loudly. Lots of trash was left every day. We cleaned it up almost daily. The inside of the apartment could have been a bit cleaner. Lots of dust and debris from the walls. You could not keep it clean for long. Mold in the bathroom on bottom of bamboo towel rack. Buttons on stove are very greasy. Otherwise pretty functional. New dishwasher and wash machine. Ironing board was small and not padded. Very unpractical. We got married in Cefalu and had a hell of a time getting our clothes ironed. Host was incredibile! He helped us with transportation from and to the airport and all kinds of questions that we had about finding things in town. Never took him long to respond. Had issues with dishwasher and a water leak and he took care of it immediately, even in the weekend. Overall we had a great stay and say that this place is extremely rare because of the location.

Dear Engeline, the beach is public and unfortunately we can't be responsible for what happens outside the property, but in any case we try to keep it as clean as possible. The apartment is an ancient house made with stones and it could be normale to have some dust from time to time, especially for long stay rentals as in your case. The same goes for humidity, which is why we always encourage people to keep air conditioning running to make everything nice and dry.

Nice apartment in the centre of Cefalu!

The apartment is beautiful- a little humid because of the old stone walls- but in summer this fits perfect. The beach situation in front of the apartment is not like on the fotos, in fact there is no sand beach in front of the apartment, but big stone plates. In the beginning we were a little disappointed because of that, because we traveled with our 3 years old child and the sand beach in front was one of the main reasons to book. but in the end it was very okay, because the main beach was very crowded and with the stones in front we had a little more privacy. The apartment is located perfect! Leaving the main door you enter directly in the heart of the old town and the view from the balkony is just beautiful- specially in the evening and while sundown. The cleaning of the apartment could be better.

Thanks Anselm for your feedback, but i would like to point out that it has been written very clearly inside the apartment description that the little portion of the beach in front of the house could be different from what is showed on pictures, because the sea is washing in and out sand from that place but you still have almost 2 km of nice sandy beach just next to it.
