Bienvenido a este perfecto dúplex "hogar lejos del hogar" ubicado a una cuadra de la bahía en la calle 18 en el corazón de Surf City, ya solo 2 cuadras de la hermosa playa de la bahía (¡ideal para niños pequeños y hermosas puestas de sol por la tarde!) ya una corta distancia a pie del océano, ¡es fácil caminar a casa para almorzar!
Este dúplex ofrece una gran terraza con muebles de exterior, un excelente lugar para tomar una copa después de un hermoso día de playa. La unidad es idéntica a 3 habitaciones (1 cama queen en una habitación, 2 camas individuales en las otras dos habitaciones) y un baño completo. La unidad ofrece su propia parrilla de gas, lavadora y secadora, cocina totalmente equipada (que incluye una máquina Keurig), unidades de aire acondicionado de ventana, plancha y tabla de planchar, secador de cabello, Internet inalámbrico, televisión de alta definición por cable con pantalla plana con una variedad de canales (incluyendo Música a pedido y canales HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Starz). Traiga sus propias sábanas, toallas y sillas de playa, incluiremos edredones, almohadas, tablas de surf e insignias de playa.

Everything was great ! House was clean , outdoor shower was ok, could use a facelift but totally functional ! The porch was amazing and would definitely stay again! Short walk to the beach and everything you could possibly want ! Love the cheese shoppe at the end of the block !

Great Vacation

surf city retreat

A great place to stay. Very roomy for the 3 of us. Loved the cover porch to eat or just relax on. You can also see the bay from the porch and catch a glimpse of the beautiful sunsets.

We enjoyed our stay here - you can't beat the location. The house is in the middle of all of the Surf City shops. The unit was spacious, comfortable, and clean.

Both the host and the location were terrific. Unfortunately the property was not cleaned prior to our arrival. The outdoor shower is not an actual outdoor shower. It is really not useable.Make sure you bring everything you need. Things like salt and pepper are not provided.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m glad to hear the host and location met your expectations and I want to address the concerns you raised directly. The property not being cleaned before your arrival should not have happened. The cleaning service we have been using for the last 10 years had an issue getting to the house earlier that day, They did arrive prior to your check in but had not finished yet when you arrived and that unfortunately led to the situation you experienced. Regarding the outdoor shower: It is a completely enclosed private shower, (Locking door, bench seat Hot and Cold water -normal shower). So, we honestly don't understand the comment expressed. We do try to keep a small supply of basic essentials on hand—items like toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dish detergent, and salt and pepper. Guests are asked to replenish what they use, but of course this is not always within our control. For that reason, we encourage guests to bring any supplies they may need during their stay. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. Your feedback is truly helpful,

Perfect setting

Lovely spot to enjoy the beach, bay restaurants and boutiques all in walking distance. For our first vrbo experience, we were blessed with wonderful caring owners.

Fantastic stay in Surf City

Great location on the island. It’s close to lots of places; a market, ice cream, water ice, shops and restaurants. Second floor was great with deck and grill. We highly recommend this place.

We love this location. We can walk to the market, butcher, fishery, bar, restaurants, miniature golf, etc. .... which makes it great.

Surf City vacation

We enjoyed our stay in the Medway’s house. The house was very clean and much nicer than the pics. Very nice location, away from the congestion. We highly recommend you to stay in Rosie and Evans home.

Great location!!

We loved our stay here! The house was close to everything you could want. Rosie and her husband were great hosts, they gave us a bunch of great food suggestions. House had everything we needed for the week. Beautiful sunsets only 30 seconds away at the bay.

Classic LBI beach house!

We enjoyed our week. The covered porch is great, house decor is old fashioned but comfortable and the air conditioning works great! Quiet street close to the bay for sunset watching and close to bay beach for little ones. Short walk to the beach.

Relaxing Vacation

Check-in was quick and easy. Perfect 3 bedroom for me and my family in a convenient location with a quick walk to the bay and the beach. My kids were happy to be close to the bay beach that was perfect for young kids! Loved being able to walk to several ice cream spots and cute restaurants. You don't need to drive anywhere if you don't want to. Hoping to rent again next summer!

Incredible LBI Gem

Wonderful wonderful wonderful! The property, the owners, the location, everything was simply perfect. It had everything we needed for the week and is in the most convenient location on the whole island. Would love to be able to come back every summer to this spot as the entire neighborhood is such an inviting community.

House was exactly as described. Great location, fully equipped kitchen and large enough living room for 6 plus a family dinner with other family staying down the road. Beds were all comfortable as well. Outside deck is nice to sit and relax at sunset.Great communication with the owners. We already are set for next year.

Great Stay with Minor Needed Fixes

Great house and stay. Just was not sure what the cleaning company did in terms of cleaning up house. Inside Shower Mat and shower curtain was moldy. Crumbs on tables and floor. Otherwise great stay.

Family vacation

Cute but dated. We visit LBI almost every year since 2005 and while this home was sufficient we all felt we had stayed at more comfortable homes over the years. The beds were uncomfortable and the electric surges every time the a/c units cycled on. I could name quite a few smaller inexpensive updates that would have made it more guest friendly. However our family had a great time all week and the weather was fantastic!

Okay

Vrbo mistakenly had this listed as a 2 bath place, when it was actually one bath. It’s a typical beach rental, nothing fancy, bring your own towels, washcloths, sheets, blankets, pillows, etc. Queen Bed was comfortable (though squeaky). Just Two blocks to the bay with beautiful sunsets, several blocks to the ocean. Convenient to Mario’s around the corner which had excellent Italian to-go food and baked goods. We didn’t have to use the window air conditioners or the heat. Stayed here during a tropical storm which was fun!

Great location

Can’t get much better than the simple walk to the beach and few places in town to grab a bite etc. Love surf city. House was a bit out of date. It was clean, and functional. Rug needs changed out or removed. The entire side of it is rolled up and warped and is a trip hazard which is not good for toddlers or especially elders. Mattresses were not comfortable. Sunken in or rock solid. My biggest thing was the rusty balcony furniture that was spray painted to try and cover it up but it’s chipping everywhere. Bring your own linens and paper products. Host was super nice and responsive, and it was a good spot for the few days we were there!

Last minute find- we were thrilled!

We decided last minute, we couldn’t let Summer 2022 pass without a trip to the Jersey Shore. We were so happy to find this perfect place in Surf City.
