Perfection
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host has thought of everything you might need away from home. There were pool toys, beach toys, towels and even sunscreen. The beds were comfortable and the lounge seating was perfect. The check in process is quite lengthy. First, you pick up the condo key at the host's residence, then you wait for the parking attendant to approve your admission to the grounds, then you go to the condo office and pay for parking, then you park and take the elevator to the condo floor. There's a book to read in the condo about the rules and hints about the local area. We missed the part about accessing the beach equipment. The walk to the beach/sea is long and quite difficult if you're not used to walking in sand. The first few days were hard work for us retiree's but we eventually got our sand legs. We met numerous people who felt the same way about the long walk. We didn't dare try to pull the wagon down to the seafront because there were numerous people struggling to pull their wagons through the sand. So we just carried one chair and the umbrella which worked well for us. We did notice that the price of food and produce was about a third more expensive than what we were used to paying at home. This surprised us because we thought Florida grew produce locally. Obviously, not the case. We can't thank our host enough for sharing their spotless home with us.
