Lovely place in great location

Great stay! Dog friendly which we needed although they are not allowed in the bedroom.Little enclosed backyard and front deck which was nice. Walking distance from the beach and the town!

Last minute get away at Blue Bollard

This place was just perfect for us with a dog and had everything we needed. Short walk to beach and shops and would definitely recommend and return ourselves.

Clean and cozy, plenty of firewood supplied and handy to shop and the beach. Fantastic for our two Cocker Spaniel dogs. Lovely spot.

Cute cottage, only a short walk to main shops. Awesome balcony where a bottle of wine goes down well, as you watch the sunset. Quiet ambience, dog friendly for your fur baby. We will stay again, and definitely recommend Blue Bollard to our friends. Thank you Joanne!

Cute, cosy and more than adequate holiday property. Really well located, walking distance to town and beach. Fairly expensive comparatively but allowing our dog sealed the deal. Would recommend, and may well return.

Couldn’t be happier.

I gifted this 2 night stay to my girlfriend and her husband and of course their fur baby for her 60th birthday. They were very impressed with the property and its fabulous location, close to all ammenities that Apollo Bay has to offer. They couldn’t recommend it highly enough, and as an added bonus Jo (owner) was terrific to deal with and very responsive, both from my perspective and also my friends.

Holiday at Apollo Bay

We enjoyed our stay and the cottage was very clean & cosy. We were made to feel most welcome. the only negative was the shower over the bath which made it difficult as we are an older couple. Our dog "Nancy" enjoyed the stay also. thank you Joy for an enjoyable 3 days break. Heather & Ian Dunne

Beautiful little spot!

Cosy and just what we needed

This property is really well appointed and well located. We really appreciated the little things such as the selection of teas and jams. Everything you could need is provided and Jo was very easy to deal with. We didn't bring our dogs this time but having seen the property now i would definitely be happy to next time, the garden and balcony are well fenced. Definitely get your value for money here. We'd go back :)

Lovely, thoughtfully-prepared house

Blue Bollards was a comfortable house in Apollo Bay, where we stayed for one night. The owners had prepared the fireplace for us, so all we had to do was light the match for a cozy night on the couch. It was chilly in the morning, but their additional electric heater did a great job of warming us up quickly. The bed was comfortable but the mattress rolled outwards a little. It’s not near the beach but the neighbourhood is perfectly nice. The house had a really nice feel - lovely artwork, cushions and blankets, a pretty garden out front and back, kitchen was excellent, and the owners left us a good information booklet on arrival. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Pet friendly gem!

Just spent the night at blue bollard with my puppy Cyril . I was so impressed with this property I had to write a review. The draw card for me was being able to have Cyril inside as he is an indoor dog at home. I also found the front deck enclosure perfect to leave him secure as I went out for dinner. The property really does the small things well example individual servings of peanut butter and vegemite, tooth brushes etc beautiful soft robes, capsule coffee. The property has just been freshly painted and was extremely clean. I am so glad I didn't read the previous review as I might not have booked the cottage and in my opinion would not have discovered this hidden gem! I highly recommend this property.

Communal Bungalow

We will not be staying at Blue Bollard again. Prior to arrival I double checked with Joanne that the house had a FULLY fenced garden for our dog, which Joanne confirmed the garden was ‘quite big’ and ‘fully secure’. On Arrival we found that not only is the garden not fully secure and my dog could easily escape, we also found that the garden is full of someone else’s washing on the lines and other household items, Joanne forgot to mention that the garden and washing machine was communal...After not being impressed with this and not feeling comfortable with leaving my dog I called Joanne to try and explain, I found Joanne very argumentative and wouldn’t listen and ended hanging up the phone. My partner then tried to call back and Joanne answered the phone as 'Is that the nasty people'. Overall very unprofessional and would not recommend to anyone. Joanne was not willing to compromise and offer a refund or even talk rationally about it, very disappointed.
