Spacious, clean, comfortable. Big, beautiful covered front porch with rocking chairs perfect for the sunrise and hummingbird watching. They thought of everything, if we needed it for cooking or laundry or gamenight we had it!. They were so thoughtful to bake fresh blueberry muffins. They were delicious, we also had fresh eggs from the hens and small departing gifts to remember Carlsbad. We have traveled the world and this is one of my most favorite homes. Thank you so much!!

Absolutely Perfect !

First I have to start by saying our hosts were AMAZING. Cory and Bruce are the best hosts we have ever had. They made us feel like family. The property was spotless, and very well organized. They went above and beyond with everything in the house. They even had a pantry with items to purchase that you might have forgotten. Our trip started out rough, but everything about the hosts, and this house made the trip fantastic. They even made us muffins, and gave us fresh laid eggs. The place is easy to find, quiet, safe, easy parking, easy entry. The beds were comfortable, the house was spacious. There is a massage chair in the living room that my family would call dibs on when we were still in the middle our of day elsewhere. We had everything we needed, and would highly recommend this place to anyone going to the area. We visited Carlsbad Caverns, The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens, Roswell, and explored other areas of NM with this being the perfect home base.

Great location! Clean, comfortable and well stocked

This was a great place to rest and relax after a day of exploring Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountain National Park. The kitchen has everything you need! We were treated to fresh blueberry muffins and fresh eggs in the day of our arrival. The owners were so kind and let us know that the property was ready if we wanted to check in early. Would definitely stay here again!

National park trip

We loved the rental. It was everything we needed and expected. The place was clean and had lots of amenities. The blueberry muffins and fresh eggs for breakfast were delicious. We even had a bonfire 1 night that was very enjoyable! It was a perfect place to stay for spending your days at Carlsbad caverns.

Wonderful place to stay

Our family stayed at this property on our vacation to Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe National Park. Both parks were about an hour from this location. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. We cooked a lot there each evening and the kitchen was well supplied with pans and utensils. Cory responded immediately to an internet issue we were having and quickly remedied the problem. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Enchanted Desert Oasis. Cory and Bruce had fresh muffins and eggs waiting for us. They house was clean and cozy and very well-appointed with all the kitchen things we could need for our stay. This was a great location for us to visit Carlsbad Caverns, The Guadalupe Mountains, and Roswell. Our kids loved the house and Cory even left a swing up for them to enjoy.

Great location for Carlsbad and Guadalupe National Parks!

Our family was looking for a place to stay to visit Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe National parks. This place ended up being perfect! There was plenty of space for our family of 5 and the property had every amenity we could need.

Fantastic!

Lovely home! Bruce and Cory do a wonderful job of providing a great place to stay. The blueberry muffins were delicious and a nice welcoming treat. The place is well maintained, clean and with great amenities. The king bed was very comfortable. We drove to both Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains National Parks from here. Highly recommend!

Great cozy home

Visiting the caverns with family and this was a good location. Very well equipped home. It had everything we needed! Like new mattresses we great after a long day and walking. Great communication from hosts. Highly recommend this place!

Awesome Place

Cory&Bruce were absolutely amazing. The house was very clean and had anything that you could need even for small children.We were welcomed with fresh eggs and amazing muffins. The house is in a perfect location if you’re there for the National Parks.Words can’t describe how much fun this place was for my kids. We loved every minute of it.

Carlsbad Caverns Getaway

When we first pulled up to the property we were impressed by how nice it looked. The inside was completely warm and welcoming with so many personal touches by the hosts, from the best blueberry muffins and fresh eggs waiting for you to the specially folded towels in the bedrooms. The host went above and beyond providing for and anticipating their guests needs. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Great place to stay!

My family I stayed here during a vacation to Carlsbad Caverns NP, White Sands NP, and Guadalupe Mountains NP. We were greeted with fresh muffins and eggs from the hosts’ chickens. It was very clean and organized. Everything we could possibly need was provided including walking sticks, a backpack, sleds and wax for the dunes at White Sands, and an ice chest. For those with kids, there was a high chair and a pack play. There was a closet full of both indoor and outdoor games that we thoroughly enjoyed. There was a great outdoor space for the kids to play and for the adults to enjoy also. Plenty of space for a large family. No complaints here! Would highly recommend.

Great stay. Highly recommend.

This place was like a home away from home. The owners have a very slick check-in process and everything was as promised. My only comment is that we were there to hike in Guadalupe Mountains NP and it was about a one hour drive to the trailheads (40 min to Carlsbad Caverns NP).

Desert oasis stay

Wonderful property in a great location. Easy access into Carlsbad and to sites we were interested in, including the caverns, Guadalupe Mountains NP and Roswell. Arrived to farm fresh eggs and muffins. The house is set up perfectly for families with a lot of extras, sleds for white sands, cooler, a mini market ( truly a great idea for guests who may have forgotten or lost items) game closet and much more. I really enjoyed the reading material on local birds and plants. It was so nice to get to a spacious, comfortable home after camping in Big bend for 3 days! Highly recommend.

Great Stay

This is a nice property outside of the bustle of Carlsbad. It’s a good midpoint for area National Parks and Roswell itineraries. The hosts go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and accommodate your needs. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Perfect Base for Exploring Carlsbad

This house was perfect for me and my family. The house was beautiful and clean. There were even fresh muffins and eggs in the fridge when we arrived. It's very conveniently located close to Carlsbad, but far enough away that you have some privacy. It was the perfect base for us to explore the National Parks in this area.

Where do I begin…

This property is the next best thing to having access to your home, while on vacation! Cory and Bruce have thought of everything, and then some! The house and property are exactly as described. The amenities are over the top and better than any hotel can offer. From the well designed fire pit, to the variety of books and games, to outdoor seating complete with birds and chimes, there truly is something for everyone’s enjoyment! Of course, no review of this property is complete without a shoutout to those blueberry muffins, worth staying the weekend for, by themselves! 10 out of 10 highly recommend & would happily stay again!

Carlsbad trip

Great place to come home to every day after long days of exploring the area. Beds were comfortable as were the community spaces. We enjoyed our stay. Hosts communicate very well so we could be prepared. We were welcomed with fresh eggs and muffins which was so appreciated! Thank you!

Carlsbad National Park Seed Collection Crew

Cory & Bruce made our stay as comfortable and easy as possible. Cory gave special consideration to our schedule, which was unpredictable because it depended upon when the seeds would be ready at the park. This special attention is highly unusual and we are extremely grateful!

Fantastic!

This is the best VRBO experience we’ve had! Cory was very responsive and has an eye for the details. As many reviews referenced, she left us welcome muffins, gifts for the kids, and eggs from their hens. The house is just outside of Carlsbad and an east 45 minute ride to the caverns. It’s about 2.5 hours to White Sands. The hosts provide sleds and coolers to borrow for the day trip. The kitchen is very well stocked with any and everything you’d need for a trip away from home. They even have an ice cream scoop! A big bonus is the “honor” pantry. We didn’t use it, but they offer amenities for $, in case you’ve forgotten something (toothbrushes, deodorant, etc…) Communication was easy with the hosts via the app, and they were kind enough to accommodate a change in our stay at the last minute. All in all, we would happily stay here again, if ever we are in the area again.

Bruce and I wanted to provide a great space for family and friends visiting Carlsbad and surrounding areas. Bruce is retired and ready to assist with any issues or concerns that may come up. We would like our guests to enjoy the stress free environment. We are on the edge of the BLM near Carlsbad and the space has lots of open area.

Family have lived on the property since the early 1980's and we live near by. We purchased the property to give travelers the wonderful experience we had all this time. The property has a walking path on the 3 acers in front. We would like each of our guest to feel welcome, comfortable, and relaxed.

You will have access to a gym and an outside (out of yard) fire pit available when weather conditions are calm. We lots of outdoor space, setting areas and play areas.
