Surfside es la MEJOR comunidad de playa en la costa sur de Nantucket, con playas vigiladas por la vida, instalaciones de baños, comidas increíbles en Surfside Beach Shack, baño para bicicletas y acceso en autobús.
Esta propiedad fue construida en 2005 y renovada en 2019 y está hermosamente decorada con atención a cada detalle. Privado, pero cerca de la ciudad y las playas, la propiedad cuenta con aire acondicionado central y cuenta con una nueva piscina climatizada de agua salada de 16 x 34 con sillones, terraza con parrilla de gas y mesa / sillas de comedor, ducha al aire libre y porche cubierto con planeador para el café de la mañana y vislumbrar la vida salvaje! La casa también cuenta con una hermosa área de césped y jardín.
Ingrese a la casa por la puerta de entrada a la cocina personalizada de caoba "cocina" con electrodomésticos Wolf y SubZero. El comedor está abierto, cuenta con una hermosa piscina y vistas pastorales, y tiene capacidad para 8-10 cómodamente. El salón cuenta con TV / cable grande, teléfono fijo y cómodas sillas.

Hay un dormitorio en el primer piso que cuenta con una cama queen size, con baño privado / ducha y tiene acceso directo a la terraza y la piscina a través de puertas francesas.
Arriba hay dos dormitorios. Primero, la suite principal que tiene una cama king size, vestidor, televisión por cable y un amplio baño con bañera "Tea for Two" y ducha separada. El segundo dormitorio de arriba tiene vistas a la piscina, dos camas individuales y baño privado con ducha. El sótano está completamente terminado y bellamente decorado. Se puede acceder desde el primer piso y también desde el patio trasero. Esta habitación cuenta con baño completo con ducha, cama queen size, literas, sofá seccional con televisión por cable y cocina americana. (Perfecto para dos familias de vacaciones juntas).

This house has it all, location close to beach, easy access to town and all points on the island, wonderful pool and very accommodating and communicative host. Absolutely loved this property and would love to go back again!

All 10 of us

The property was beautiful. Plenty of space for 2 couples w babies under 1, myself/husband and another couple. Having our own bathrooms was a huge benefit. We never stepped on anyone's toes. Despite the weather, we did a lot. Enjoyed r&r time poolside and of course explored the island and downtown. We all enjoyed the access for walking or running Down to the beaches. We enjoyed dinner at home 3 nights cooking in her spacious kitchen and using the outside grill. My only caveat was the strictness of recycling, which I understand, but took some getting used to. All in all I think we did a good job.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Surfside home. House was clean and well laid out. Pool was awesome and heated just right. Location was good, convenient to Surfside Beach, Bike trails and a short ride to town. Overall was a great experience

Great stay for a family trip!

Our family of 6 adults had a wonderful time at Rainbow's End! We had never been to Nantucket before and after our weeklong trip, we felt confident that Rainbow's End was the best place to stay! The beach was only 5 minutes away on bikes and it was the best beach. Surfside Beach is spacious, has fun waves, and the sand was great. Having a pool to hang at in the afternoon was a treat. Also, biking into town for restaurants was so easy. No more than 20 minutes away. Additionally, Galen was more than helpful and went above and beyond to help us and ensure that we had a wonderful vacation. We highly recommend this place!

Beautiful, Well-appointed retreat

Rainbow's End was everything and more. The house was immaculately clean when we arrived and every detail was seen to: from a well stocked kitchen, to beautiful bed linens, and even hair towels! There were beach chairs and an umbrella available and a plethora of beach/pool towels, which we really appreciated! The property feels so private and secluded, but you are only a short bike ride (10 min) away from 2 different beaches and a short ride into town to all the restaurants and shops. My kiddos especially loved the pool, I really loved the thoughtfulness and quality of the kitchen supplies, and my husband was all about the location (both the location on the island itself and how gorgeous the property is). Galen was a great communicator; expectations were clear and she was easy to get in touch with when questions arose. We really can't wait to go back and are already planning a return trip!

Just what we needed

From the time we arrived Galen was the perfect host. She was always available to answer questions. The property was exactly as it was listed. There was plenty of space for our family. We are big cookers, the kitchen was fully stocked with all of the items we needed. We were celebrating birthdays, and did a family photo shoot on the property because it was so lovely. She changed out the flowers in the planter boxes and communicated with us any time she needed to be on the property when we were there. The porch is absolutely magical for morning coffee and evening strumming on the guitar. Would 100% rent again. Easy access to the beach as well as biking and walking trails quiet and cozy. If you’ve never been to Nantucket Island, I highly recommend renting this place. We have a 6 month old baby and took the basement which is perfect for a family with younger ones.

Fantastic getaway

Hoise was spacious and clean. Galen is a great host and leaves certain amenities which is nice…dish detergent/laundry detergent/shampoo etc. Very helpful. Spacious basement perfect for teens. Well stocked kitchen and the pool was Fabulous.

Rainbow’s End

My husband and I had a wonderful week at Rainbow’s End with our family. The house is amazing and is equipped with everything you need. We all enjoyed the pool that was warm and very clean. The location of the house is great. You can ride bikes to the beach and going to town is just a short drive. Galen is great and is always there to answer and questions you may have. This home is very clean and well cared for. I highly recommend this home and we hope to return again next year. Thank you Galen we all had a wonderful week!!

Fabulous house for your family vacation!

We had a wonderful time at this charming house. The Pool was fantastic and made family time at the house extra special. We had our daughter and her three kids (4, 7 & 12), and our son and his wife! The downstairs suite was perfect for our daughter and kids with the rest of us taking the bedrooms upstairs and the bedroom on the main floor. We had a semi-cloudy week and the heated pool was great to have as the beaches were a bit cool and waters were rough. Hanging out by the pool was amazing at any time of the day. We had fun family meals, as the kitchen was fully stocked with all you need to cook/bake/grill and plenty of room around the kitchen table and island for our family and extended family that live on the island! There was plenty of space for us indoors and out and the house is beautiful, clean and very comfortable. All over it was a great, memorable week for us all!

Our pot of gold…

Rainbow was our pot of gold for the week and Galen was the best host! From the moment of our arrival and the incredibly warm welcome, we were hooked! This was a home for the week, not just a house rental. Then add to it, the freshly baked Nantucket Bake Shop breads, the beautiful fresh peonies (my favorite!) and roses and the bowl of chocolates. Galen’s home was refreshingly clean, had luxurious linens and towels, a very well appointed kitchen, an awesome basement (turned kids zone/dormitory), a fabulous heated pool that was used daily by all (especially my niece and nephew), a brand new grill which we loved (we cooked several nights) and a huge property to throw around a football and have baseball catches! Oh, and the front porch with the couch was a frequent relaxation spot! Add to it all the wonderful little touches (hair wraps, soaps, shampoos, lotions, an “emergency kit” (luckily we didn’t need it), coolers, bocce, beach chairs, a boogie board, extra pillows and blankets…clearly I could go on and on. We loved its central location - easy bike to town, the grocery, through the forest, to the athletic club (my son was happy) and loads of trails to walk - paved and dirt/sand beach bound trails! Galen checked in regularly and was available if we needed anything; she is a super host and a lovely person! Thank you for allowing us to take up residence in your home for a week - we hope to come back and enjoy it, again!!!

Summer getaway

Amazing Location and property!!!

Such a wonderful week in Nantucket at Galen's property. Booking was super easy and she confirmed right away. She was very communicative via text and vrbo messages leading up to the stay answering any questions we had very quickly. Check in was super smooth and she met us at the house to give us a quick tour and answer any questions we had. We really appreciated the little things that she did to make the stay. Multiple fresh floral bouquets in the house, bottle of wine, having the home stocked with initial paper products, etc. It really made us feel welcome and not stressed right off the bat. Where other properties skimp or get cheap not getting cable tv, paper products, cheap linens, etc. Galen does not and it is amazing. All the bedrooms had newer high quality linens with multiple blanket options to keep everyone comfortable. Beds were all very comfortable. The house has everything you need for your stay right away. Galen even went out to buy an additional beach umbrella for our newborn so they didn't get sunburned. The pool is spectacular, and was honestly the cleanest pool any of us had ever been in...it was crystal clear and very warm so we could go swimming at night. Highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back in the future!!! Thank you for all of your attention to detail and flexibility with our group, Galen.

We could not have asked for anything more from our stay at Galen’s beautiful Nantucket home. The house was spotless, well-equipped, very private, and close to town and multiple beaches. From relaxing on the front porch to cooling off in the pool, it was a great week and she was an amazing host.

Great!

Lovely vacation home about 1/2 mile or so from Surfside beach. Quiet neighborhood and beautiful pool in the yard. The home was very clean, nicely furnished and had everything we needed for a great vacation!

Great private escape

This home was very very well maintained and extremely well appointed. We felt like we were in someone much loved home. The place was spotless and had great amenities and room got our things which felt like it wasn’t so crowded. The pool was awesome and the location was great. Quick bike to beach. Galen was very accessible and eager to please. I’d highly recommend!

Born and raised on Nantucket, I lived for many years in the Cisco area. My parents were in the hospitality industry as long as I can remember, so taking pride in and serving my guests is natural to me. This is my third Nantucket build, and the best one by far. Built in 2005, I have recently renovated the home with new furnishings, paint, and finished suite. In addition, there is a brand new heated salt water pool for your enjoyment!

The ocean is an 8 minute walk from my home, and the salt water pool is right out side the door. The house has a finished suite (bedroom with queen bed, bunks, sectional couch, kitchenette, full bath). This particular feature is great for families who want to travel together, or who may have a nanny. I also have central AC for those hot summer nights and a big lawn for the kids to play on. What's not to love??
