Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I don't usually write reviews, but felt compelled to after our stay in Village 16 at Island Beach House. This unit exceeded our expectations. It appears to have been recently renovated and redecorated (new countertops, updated bathrooms, new furniture, beautiful patio with adorable overhead lighting, etc.). Both bedrooms were large, and had the most comfortable pillows I've ever used. In addition, the unit was just steps from the beach and pool. When looking for a place to stay on Siesta Key, I thought initially this might be too far from the Village. That wasn't the case. The Village was only 1-2 miles away...you could take a car or trolley and be there in minutes, or walk if you wanted to. The unit, in a word was perfect, and I can't recommend it highly enough!

Love that the couch can be wiped down and the simplicity of the unit. Just wish it had a washer/dryer within the unit for when the kids run out of bathing suits!! We had to clean the floor as soon as we arrived and the swifter sheets were black. Unfortunately this has been an ongoing problem not only for us but are family and friends who have vacationed there as well. The villa is also outdated. Especially this year that the prices went up, you would expect for the villa to be extremely clean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: In having stayed at Island House Beach Resort a number of years ago, we had set fairly high expectations for this visit. From the moment that we stepped into the front office and were greeting by a warm and friendly staff to the moment that we had to leave, everything more than meet our expectations. The 2 bedroom cottage was clean, well equipped and in close proximity to the beautiful beach, the pool house and the free trolly that takes you to both ends of the island. Our daughter - law and 4 year old grandson had an equally great time. It resort might not be a 5 star site by some peoples standard but for the fair price, its truly had to beat as a safe, friendly and convenient option.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My friend and I had a wonderful week in Siesta Keys, as expected. I have been here 5 times previously and my friend 4 times. We have always stayed on Midnight Pass road, beach side. This was our first time at this resort. The apartment was perfect for us! The owner has it tastefully decorated and it has a very relaxing décor. The walk to the pool and the beach was short and very convenient. We had a few minor issues with the apartment, but maintenance took care of them very quickly. I love my morning walks on the beach. I'm a shell freak, so plenty are to be had. We always enjoy Millie's for breakfast and Clayton's for happy hour. The village is always fun. And, you can't miss Sundays drum gathering at the public beach. Love St Armand's Square for shopping and Columbia restaurant. Try to 1905 salad and the cannelloni's. Fun time at Captain Curt's for karaoke. Would definitely stay here again! Scott, thanks for your help with everything.

It is clean, has everything you could possibly need to make it "home" including a Keurig (yay) .... it is less than 2 min walk to the beautiful sands of Siesta Key. We had some rain, ,but didn't mind as this rental is huge, has a full and twin in 2nd bedroom (which was great for our tall teenager and her friend)... and everything is new. Smelled clean the minute we walked in door and exceeded expectations. Also these are villa style so you have the whole place to yourself - no neighbors above or below you to wake you up. This is less than a mile to Siesta Key Village and right on the sands of the beach. Don't walk, run to book this beautiful unit. :)

Needs a thorough deep clean badly! The dishwasher needs replaced, dishes were always dirty after running a 4 hour cycle. They decided while a guest was in the house, it would be a good time to send a plumber to fix the toilet in our master bath. That should be done while unoccupied. And to make that even better, my luckily handy husband had to fix the toilet the plumbers did not fix correctly! We were not given wristbands to wear upon arrival and were not aware we were supposed to have them. That is until we were unprofessionally questioned by property staff as to where ours were. Juan, Ed and Brett were friendly and great! House was close to a quiet and clean beach, updated and resort was well-maintained on the exterior.

I was a little disappointed when I found out we didn’t have a washer/dryer but the laundry room is so close to the pool it wasn’t a problem. We will return next year.

The decor is beautiful and looks brand new, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed to cook and the white sand beach is just a short walk down the property. Extremely clean! Beds were comfortable and we loved sitting on the patio in the morning with our coffee. Pool area was large and clean as well. HIGHLY recommend this unit!
