In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance, all guests understand that the approved number of bedrooms is 3, the maximum allowed occupancy is 6, and the maximum allowed number of vehicles is 3.

This charming Kiawah Island vacation rental is a Turtle Cove Villa that features 3 bedrooms, a lovely screened porch, and lagoon views. The villa is only a 5-minute walk to the beach.

When you enter the main living space, you will notice the villa has been updated with hardwood floors, smooth ceilings, and recessed lighting. The living room offers comfortable seating for enjoying conversation or watching the flat screen TV. To the left, you will find the fully equipped, open kitchen. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, a breakfast bar, and everything you will need to prepare your vacation meals. The breakfast bar offers seating for 3 and the dining area has table with seating for up to 6. Just past the dining area, is an entrance to the screened porch. The spacious screened porch is incredibly peaceful and a wonderful place to relax.

This unit has three bedrooms, each with its own private, en suite bathroom. All bathrooms were recently renovated. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, access to the screened porch, flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a king-sized bed, flat screen TV, and private bathroom with walk-in shower. The final bedroom has two twin beds, flat-screen TV, and attached bathroom with shower/tub combo.

The villa is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

Great except for a few glitches

Great property but TVs in bedrooms not working. TV in the family room did work. Also, no hand washing liquid in the bottles. Otherwise, great place.

Thank you for your feedback and for letting us know of the issue with the TVs. I have massed this information to our property manager to look into and fix immediately. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were pleasantly surprised at this villa! Originally we were supposed to stay somewhere else but due to repairs being done we were moved to this beautiful and most inviting villa. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this villa from the outside beauty of the surrounding area to the inside charm of the entire unit. We had everything we needed from the well equipped kitchen to the washer and dryer inside the unit. The towels in each bathroom were in abundance and everything was clean and move in ready. All of the beds were very comfortable! Beach access was just a couple minutes on the bike or maybe a 5-minute walk away and very accessible. I highly recommend bicycles because we enjoyed hours of exploration!! Overall it was a great 10 days spent on Kiawah! We would highly recommend this villa to anyone and we also look forward to coming back for a future stay in this unit.

Turtle Cove Visit

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Kiawah Island for 35+ years. We look forward to our trips there. This is the first time staying at a property not directly on or connected to the beach. It was fine but without a map it was difficult and extremely difficult to find. SATNAV and previous visits only gets you so far. The villa was nice and very well appointed, especially with kitchen and bathroom supplies, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. I brought things from home and really didn’t need them. So thank you. Plenty of nice bath towels. The villa appeared clean at a glance. However, I used a swiffer on the floors before I left and it had much more dust and dirt than would be appropriate for our stay. I expected to see sand but the cloth was filled with thick dust. Also the screened porch and furniture hadn’t been touched in quite awhile. The ceiling fan in the master off the screened porch didn’t work.

Updates in 2 of 3 bathrooms were great. Built-ins in closets were fantastic! Living room with sectional was a great place to gather for board games. Furnishings on screened porch were comfortable and clean; a great place for morning coffee after a run! Location was very convenient to beach and market. Would choose this property again.

Reviewer Comments: Condo layout confusing in that king bed should be in bedroom having bigger bath with double sinks vanity and queen bed in bedroom with small bath / single sink vanity, We had noisy guests above us and very noisy party - guests in building next to us who not only partied late on their deck but also outside the condo and blew their car horns in middle of the night. Condo has no use of a pool which was very disappointing considering access to the beach further away than we were told. Renting beach gear a waste since it was too heavy to carry to beach. A clean condo but not what we thought we were renting based on upgrades indicated in rental write ups.

We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy this unit. Being PGA week, we did have thousands of excited people all over the island, but sorry to here that noise interfered with your stay. We do have noted in the property listing that the bathrooms were renovated earlier in the year. However, I can say that the villa is beautifully decorated and one of the closer ones you will find to the beach being only 5-7 minute walk away. Unfortunately, there is no pool access at this property and we do not advertise as such. I see that you originally were booked in and moved to Duneside properties. Those would have indeed been closer to the beach, as they are all ocean view, and had access to a community pool.

We had everything we needed, except a large skillet. We had trouble figuring out how to run the dishwasher, so perhaps an instruction sheet near the dishwasher would be helpful. Other than that, everything was perfect. We would definitely stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is very nice and definitely feels like a home versus a rental unit. It was well-stocked with all the basics (towels, bedding, paper products, etc.). The lagoon is off to the side, but you can see it if you sit in the right spot on the screened-in back porch (which could use comfier lounge chairs). The closest beach access is a 5 minute bike ride or 10 minute walk. The beach is very nice (wasn’t crowded at all in March). Parking at the unit is very convenient for both cars and bikes, right outside the front door. This is a ground floor unit, so we definitely heard footsteps above us, but was quiet otherwise. Sound does travel a lot within the unit—for example, if someone is watching TV in the living room, you can hear it in every bedroom. The King and twin-size mattresses are comfortable, but the queen size mattress is extremely (uncomfortably) firm—it could use a foam topper. The only other small request would be to have a cutting board available in the kitchen. Property management is very responsive. The bathtub in the kid’s bathroom wasn’t holding water and I left a voicemail on a Sunday afternoon. I got email confirmation of my request right away and someone stopped by with a rubber stopper as a quick fix that same afternoon.
