The house was fun to stay in, the porch a joy to experience. The main bathroom could use some maintenance but otherwise the house was good to us.

We’re so glad you enjoyed the porch and home. We took the bathroom suggestion you shared and have someone scheduled to come in for a faucet adjustment.

Like being at home.

This house was amazing and had everything to make your stay comfortable. The property owners are so thoughtful we left behind some clothing that they promptly notified us about and shipped to us which was so kind of them. I would highly recommend staying here if you were looking for a place in this area.

Trail race Bristol Weekend

We stayed at teh Bristol Bungalow for a weekend to run a race in the Mendota Trails on Saturday. This house was close to downtown Bristol and a short drive to the trails. We enjoyed the big space. The living and dining room space was a great place to relax . There is also a nice front porch with a swing. We enjoyed a walk in the surrounding neighborhood too! We'd stay here again.

Just one concern

The upstairs bedroom has a window unit that does NOT provide ANY heat. The low temp each night was around 40F and the bedroom temp dropped into the 50s - definitely NOT comfortable for sleeping.

Stay away! Homeowner canceled day before check in!!!!

I have never given a negative review before but the my experience could not have been worse! Unbelievably, the homeowner abruptly canceled my reservation the night before the check in date, stating no reason. This left me high and dry with no accommodations for the Thanksgiving holiday with my family. The listing was inaccurate re: bathroom count. Do not consider renting this house - you cannot count on the signed rental agreement and full advanced payment. Terrible experience!!!

Perfect in Every Way

This was a lovely place to stay for the weekend. We had three generations merging together for a quiet graduation celebration. The house was well equipped, the beds were comfortable and instructions were clear. We will certainly stay here again in the future!

Wonderful place to stay in Bristol!

This 1929 house is convenient to the downtown area (walking distance) and there is a big grocery close by. The house is beautiful and reminds me of my grandmas! Eight of us could sleep comfortably. There is only 1 full bath (like many old homes), but the 1/2 bath helps with that! Great porch with a swing and other places to sit. We will absolutely consider it again when in Bristol.

Lovely place

We had a great time staying in this piece of history! It was close to town and so cute! It snowed while we were there and we got to sit on the couch and imagine what life was like in 1929 when the house was built.

Quaint home

Really enjoyed our stay at the bungalow. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and playing games around the table inside. The home was so cozy. Beds and sheets were very comfortable, and the kitchen and baths had everything we needed. Clean and beautiful home with cute decor. We even appreciated the short 5 minute walk to the nearby grocery to pick up some food items we forgot at home.

Quaint home

Exactly as described-we enjoyed the large front porch with swing, the cozy feel of the home, and very comfortable beds. We were in town for a wedding and there was plenty of space for our family to spread out. The kitchen and baths had everything we needed! Great communication by property owner too. Thanks for opening up your home to strangers!

Hi Becky, thank you for your review. We wanted to pass along the following feedback from the homeowners: Thank you! So glad you were comfortable while in town for a wedding with your family. The porch swing is one of our favorites, as we grew up down the street with a similar one, many many years ago. Hope you'll visit again.

Bristol Gem

Super comfy, clean and inviting space. This house has everything you need and plenty of space to spread out. Slept awesome, beds are way cozy. Super close to downtown Bristol, easy to walk or drive. Perfect spot for us to unwind after recording all day. Can't say enough good things about this house. Place was well stocked with linens and towels, everything was easy to use and navigate, house felt super welcoming, kitchen was great. Hosts are fantastic, and the neighborhood is super cute, laidback and quiet.
