Charming beach cottage

We loved this house so much and would love to come back. Incredibly cute furniture, decor, finishings. Everything felt updated and new. Loved the wood paneling, walls painted white with the pretty wood ceilings. Beautiful views, easy beach access. The living room and kitchen are perfect size. Perfect for our family of 4 but also would be great with a few more people! The only issues with the house were with the whole check in process. We had to drive 25 minutes out of the way to the property management company’s office to pick up house keys… which seems outdated when you could put a keypad on the door. Once we arrived, the sheets for all beds were in a big linens bag, we had to put sheets on all the beds ourselves… this seems like a miss at this price point, oceanfront home. And finally, there was one roll of toilet paper, with about 10 squares left on it… so after putting sheets on the bed and getting the kids to sleep, I had to drive to the grocery store for toilet paper.Otherwise, we loved the house!

The Angelfish was a pleasant stay for my family of four. Clean, pretty, roomy with beachfront perks. I highly recommend!

No TV or Internet

Our family stayed here 3/28-4/1/24 for Easter. You cannot beat the location on the beach. The beds were comfortable (ours was memory foam) and for the most part, the house was clean. However, we quickly learned there was no router so we had no internet or TV (during March madness). I guess the house had just been sold and the new owners took it out for whatever reason. We had to go into town a few times just to do emails, which took away from our family time and the guys missed out on March Madness. We checked in after the office closed but left a message and a few more on Good Friday. Finally, someone called us back on Saturday and apologized but short of putting an antenna up, they said there was nothing they could do. I was told that the manager would be in touch with me to make it right, but 2 days after checkout, I still have not heard from them. Very poor communication all around. Also, the kitchen was stocked but with very old rummage sale-type items. No hot pan holders so I had to buy some. All of the dressers were old and musty so we didn't use them. One of the bedrooms did not have a closet. Nicely decorated but the furniture was old. The light in the refrigerator didn't work. The showers were nice and updated, even though the master was a bit small. Overall, I felt it was overpriced for what we got, no TV, no internet, and poor communication from management. Would not stay here again.

Magical

The Angelfish is one of the nicest VRBOS we have ever stayed in. The property is steps from the beach. We are big surf fishers, and absolutely love the proximity of the beach to the house without much trouble getting from the house to the surf! Although our fishing wasn’t great, the house was absolutely perfect. Very clean and the most comfortable king-size bed I think we have ever slept on, including our own! The house is beautifully appointed and decorated, with a gorgeous deck with chairs and a table, that face right out to the water. This is one property that we would love to come back to in the near future! Don’t hesitate in staying here! The one and only issue that we had, was that there was no gas grill or charcoal grill of any kind, so we just went to Walmart and bought a little disposable charcoal grill, and it worked out well. Wonderful stay at the Angelfish!!

Beautiful home with everything you would need!

Great area and beach area. Perfect for relaxing on the beach and close to everything. Home was equipped with everything that you would need. Bathrooms were newly remodeled and just beautiful. The deck was great with chairs and table for soaking in the sunrises and sunsets. Highly recommend !

Beautiful home

The house has been beautifully renovated. There was enough deck seating and table for outdoor dinners. The kitchen was well stocked with a huge single bowel sink. New showers and comfortable beds. Love the Tempur-Pedic mattress in the master bedroom! Thank you!

Fun times!!

The house was perfect for us. The deck is awesome with lots of rockers and an big table if you like to eat outside. We appreciated all the hoses to wash off. The table inside was great for doing puzzles and playing games. We would definitely rent it again!
