So, what better place to “Get Tuckered” than Tucker Dog? This lovely 2 bedroom/2-bathroom Beaver Ridge condominium is centrally located and terrifically equipped. Winter visitors will enjoy the wood-burning fireplace and quick trip to Timberline Mountain, Canaan Resort and White Grass for downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowtubing and ice skating too! Spring, summer and fall, the infamous Monongahela National Forest hiking trails abound, practically from your doorstep. Hit the slopes, the trail, the path, or the water…this is a wonderful location to enjoy everything beautiful Tucker County has to offer. The condo offers a full and fully equipped kitchen, WIFI, satellite TV (limited) and amazing stargazing opportunities! 4 Wheel Drive vehicles are required for winter visitors.

Mother daughter weekend

This was a mother/ daughter weekend with my daughter and her best friend and her mom. It was the perfect location for us. Private, beautiful surroundings, and many surrounding hidden gems!! Would recommend this to anyone that wants to connect and have quality time. Great place - so glad we found this ♥️

The "Dog is a great place and BOC are great people.

Tucker Dog Experience

We all enjoyed this cozy unit. Our 96 yr old friend said the showers needed handicapped bars for easier access. This may be of future benefit for the owners as well. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed Beaver Ridge and esp. Tucker Dog.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I needed to stay overnight for my volunteer work at the Wildlife Refuge. Best of Canaan folks are always the best to check with--friendly, professional, cooperative, accurate. The Rucker Dog condo is a particularly nice spot--right on the parking level, but with a nice view! And everything you'd need. And extra supplies if needed in the closets.Highly recommended!

Wi-fi is fast. Has a great view of the valley and nice chair on the deck to watch the sunset. Will be back!

Our stay went well. The condo was a bit outdated, but it was clean and was fine for us. Everything we needed was in the condo. The Kuerig coffeemaker did leak, but there was a Mr. Coffee, so we were fine. The only thing i would change, qould be the AC. We could not get the temp below 74. It was not unbearable, but it was warmee than we wanted.

Tucker Dog is perfect, right on parking level, but good view!

The second bedroom even has its own bathroom. I had stayed there once before, and a Diet Sprite I had left in the fridge was still there--but back, I assume, when I rebooked. Wow--a nice personal, and unexpected touch.

A great restful night at the "Dog"!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beaver Ridge 112 ("Tucker Dog") is a great place to stay--all the amenities you could wish for at a good price. With 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, it's especially well appointed for a family. Since it's on the parking lot level, the access is easy if stairs are an issue, and the view is excellent even though it's not at the top. It's managed by Best of Canaan, which, based on my long experience visiting the Valley, really is the best.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Folks at Best of Canaan were friendly and efficient as usual. The condo was in great shape and well prepared. I had trouble with the Roku TV setup, but luckily I didn't come up here for TV. Wifi was blazing fast. I also highly recommend Canaan Valley for a getaway. And Beaver Ridge is ideally located--in the Valley but close to the town of Davis.

Ski Trip

We are a family of 5 and this spot was great for us. The kitchen was equipped which made meals easy. All linens were provided making the stay that much easier when it came to packing. We stayed here for our ski trip to Timberline Mountain and will definitely book again.
