Esta casa es perfecta para una familia pequeña. Juega en la playa tranquila todo el día y luego refréscate en la piscina de la subdivisión. Prepare sus comidas en la cocina bien amueblada. We picked this vacation home specifically because it had access to a swimming pool. But only after checking in and calling the management company did we find out the neighborhood pool is only available to homeowners, not vacation renters. Disappointing and misleading.

We come to crystal beach at least 3 times a year and love everything about it. The only thing I think I would change about this home is access to the swimming pool- it would be nice to use the pool after a long day of beach combing. ☺️ Thank you for a wonderful place for us to call " home" for a week !!

Reviewer Comments: My family has always rented from Swedes a bunch of times over the years but this was my first Time to do it on my own with my own kids and we had the most amazing time! we did take advantage of the linen service and it was well worth not having to bring all of our own sheets and towels. our location was perfect and right next to the water, it only took us a few minutes to get down to the water and back. this house was also extremely close to every single thing you could possibly need from the big store to boba to stickers for your car to the beach! we will definitely be coming back!!

Beach weekend

Very cute quiet and view is amazing for not being on the beach! When we arrived the floors were very dirty and dead bugs on the floors. But when I called they had someone over within 10 mins! I wish they would wash and give you the bath mats how they do the towels and sheets bc they were also very dirty at arrival. They do have a washer and dryer so that was nice! Blinds in the bathroom bc the ppl across the field can see you! You do have to pick up and drop off the key which is kinda annoying. They should have code lock and they also need a good deep cleaning!

This house is in a quiet corner and was a great place to relax and enjoy the beach.

My Peaceful Easy Feeling

The view is excellent and the location is perfect. I have been renting from Swedes real estate since I was 25 years old and now I am 70. I’ve always been pleased through the years with whatever beach house that we have gotten each time and the staff has always been very nice and professional.

Also, there are other real estate rental companies there, but there has always been something a little more personal by Sweedes in handling renters. Only thing that the house lacks are some sort of shades to pull down over the many windows at night time for a little more privacy. But those same windows make for a great view.

Really liked location and the modern appliances. Furniture was comfy, location was great. All the windows made for fantastic view. In fact we had a full moon on one side and a beautiful sunset on the other. Easy access to beach that was less populated than what we are used to. Definitely will stay at this same house again.

A respite by the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Annette's Funautical Fantasea is conveniently accessible either from the Galveston Ferry terminal or by highway 83 coming from the east. It is a short walk to the beach which is visible from the living room and kitchen area. Great for viewing sunrise and the beginning of a new day. The rooms and beds are large and comfortable. Bring your own linens and towels to save $100. The kitchen appliances are dated bur functional. Importantly, the HVAC system works very well. On our visit, there weren't any dish sponges or soap, so I spent a few bucks and left them behind for the next guest. Likewise, be sure to bring your own hand and body wash and shampoo. This isn't like your typical hotel room! Anyway, the other amenities are great, including access to the community pool, kept very clean, that's about 100 yards to the west of the beach house. If you're looking for a great, quiet beach getaway, this is the place.

Swede's Realty was friendly and responsive as property managers.

Great Beach Trip

This is the second time to stay at Annette's. We love the location and the fact that the view of the beach is great. It is a quiet part of the beach which we also love.

Overall great experience

Overall good experience. My wife and I plus our two teenage kids. Just a couple of glitches: when we arrived, we found articles of clothing laying on the deck and on the slab downstairs. Found a roach in one of the bathrooms. We used the linen service which was good but we needed more than one dish towel for the week. Pool was very cold but that’s probably no one’s fault, it’s March/early April. That being said, We still would definitely do this again. FYI for future, the area was half shut down. We were told that we were a scooch early. Busy season hadn’t quite started yet. A lot of places were closed.
