Come enjoy island life in style! Sit back and relax in our luxury, newly built 3 bedroom home. With sweeping views of the Sou'west River and semi-private river access, spend your days relaxing and playing in the PEI country side. Just minutes from world famous beaches and golf courses, this is the perfect place to make your home base after a day of exploring the island. Unwind on the upper deck, watch a movie on the big screen TV or enjoy a few sips in the screened in porch by the fireplace.

New additions to the property for the 2024 season include yard games, an outdoor firepit, beach chairs and umbrella, and 2 paddle boards that can be launched from the dock.

Important: We are committed to protecting our properties and keeping up-to-date with short -term rental regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete our independent verification.

Before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details with us to complete your booking. You will be contacted via email and/or text to complete the verification. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.

Home away from home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mariners Retreat. This home is fully stocked. The owners have gone above and beyond to make everyone's stay very comfortable (kids and adults). The view is absolutely breath taking! We hope to be back one day!

We loved our stay at this beautiful rental home. The cleanliness of the house was exceptional. Everything was updated, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and the beds were very comfortable. The views from the back deck were gorgeous. We were extremely pleased and happy staying at this lovely house. very comfortable

One of the best houses we have rented, and there have been many. Great floor plan. Loved the screened room, and upper and lower decks have ample comfortable furniture. Would not hesitate to return.

The property was excellent. We all agreed that is was the most well-equipped property we have ever stayed at. We made a number of meals and the kitchen was well-kitted out. We also really appreciated the coffee bar and bar fridge as a beverage station. The beds were comfortable and there were ample towels. The property is spacious, new and clean and the natural light, decor and view made it a very relaxing to be at the property. We also appreciated the screened porch room and the kids enjoyed the "loft" room. Everything was very thoughtfully executed with lots of bonuses that are missing from many vacation rentals. The property is close to Cousin's Shore beach, one of the nicest beaches on PEI. The owner was very responsive. Thank you for a wonderful vacation! We would stay again and recommend the property.

2024 PEI Vacation

We had an amazing week! Kendra is a fantastic host and her home is exceptional. From the beautiful views off the back deck to beach chairs and games, this home has everything! Centrally located, we were able to do day trips and explore the island. Our family loved staying here and hope to go back! Definitely a 10/10!!

This was the perfect vacation rental for our PEI trip. We had an absolutely wonderful stay—so peaceful & relaxing with a wonderful view. A gorgeous home with everything you will need to help make your trip even more enjoyable. The hosts have thought of everything. You can tell that they have put a lot of effort into decorating & providing things for their guests. The hosts also responded quickly to any questions we had.

Comfort, Convenience and Charm!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming home on Prince Edward Island. Its central location made exploring the island a breeze, allowing us to easily access all the key attractions while still enjoying the serene countryside. The home was impeccably clean and well-maintained, exuding a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The hosts have clearly put a lot of thought into the amenities, going above and beyond what is listed. They have truly thought of everything to ensure guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The patio area and sunroom were standout features for us. These spaces were perfect for relaxing, enjoying meals, or simply soaking in the beautiful surroundings. We were a group of four adults, and the home suited us perfectly. However, it’s easy to see how this property would be an ideal choice for a couple with 1-4 children. The layout and amenities are well-suited to accommodate families of various sizes. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Prince Edward Island. It’s a no-brainer choice for comfort, convenience, and a truly delightful stay.
