Quaint One Bedroom Condominium Steps from the Beach!

You'll enjoy this quaint one bedroom condominium located in Barrington Court within Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort! Updates have recently been made to include all new stainless steel appliances, living room furniture and bedding in the primary bedroom. The primary bathroom was fully renovated in July of 2023!

The kitchen will be fully-equipped making cooking a meal for the family an easy task. The dining area beside the kitchen comfortably seats four.

The living area has all-new furniture and a Smart TV along with a slider to your private balcony. There is a sleeper sofa as well! Out on your private balcony there are two separate seating areas for you to take in the ocean view. There is a half bath near the entry for any guests which may stop by.

The bedroom consists of a king bed, Smart TV and its own slider to the balcony. The en-suite primary bathroom has just been completely updated with a custom-tiled shower, new vanity and accompanying light fixtures etc.!

The beach is easily accessed by elevator and a couple minute walk thereafter!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was in ok condition, it needs a lot of work to update the unit. The sliding doors are very old and hard to open and close. In the living room the slider has a step up that is dangerous and I tripped on it the first time going out to the balcony. Needs fresh paint, and window coverings. The floor didn't seem clean when we arrived as there was sand on it. The nice ladies in the check-in office could not describe to us how to find the unit, so that was a bit frustrating. There are no signs by the street that display the building and unit numbers for our building from the street. We had to finally call the office back, and the ladies couldn't tell us where the unit was with directions, so one of them came out and guided us to the building and unit. A simple map with highlighted directions to the building would have solved that issue very easily.I would not recommend this unit, but would look for one that has been updated. Overall, we did have a good time other than having to leave early due to the tropical storm, and didn't get a refund on the last 2 days of our visit. That hurt the wallet!! Will try a different unit next time.

Downsides is the Hot Tub was a disgrace and not hot and no whirlpool action. Pool and deck were great, though not used by us r/t time of year (October). Great Pickleball and Tennis courts. Easy access to bike rental. Great biking on the beach.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Did not expect the Ritz, but didn’t even get a Hampton Inn. While some things had clearly been recently poorly updated in terms of quality, the place still has a long way to go to be presentable. Bathrooms were embarrassing! The trim on the 1980s tub was broken off and the matching toilet seat was worn away in several spots where the lid meets the seat. Furniture was in similarly bad condition. Couch cushions receded into the bottom if you sat for too long. Dresser drawers were mostly missing runners that keep them from falling out when you open them. Windows and shades were not fully functional. And the list goes on.

No screen door on patio out of living room. Sleeper sofa could use an update. Very uncomfortable. Patio was nice. We enjoyed the view. Golf arrangements were great as well as the free shuttle throughout the island.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Living room and deck furniture was not comfortable. We asked for a mat for the tub because it was slippery and housekeeping said it was not their responsibility. Tub is in need of repair. Back splash over the sink is unfinished. Counter near the sink is very gritty. Refrigerator was not stable when opening the door. The clothes washer does not agitate very much and makes a grinding loud noise. Side windows in kitchen and living room were very difficult to open and window coverings were falling apart. Both sliding doors do not have screens. Curtains in both living room and bedroom were atrocious (garage). Bed was very high and difficult to get into. Choice of tv options were not adequate for our needs. We have stayed at Palmetto Dunes on several occasions and this was the most inferior . Needless tosay we were very disappointed.. we give the unit a D-

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very unhappy with the unit we rented. It should not have been rented in the shabby condition it was in. Sink in half bath stopped up, overhead light in kitchen does not work all the time, kitchen faucet handle difficult to operate, carpets were soiled, kitchen cabinets in poor condition, no towel bars in bathrooms to hang towels or wash cloths on, unable to get local TV stations, extremely poor lighting, tile grout is filthy and other items I won't take time to mention. We had to call two times to rental office to have someone to answer questions about the TV. We have stayed many times at the Barrington complex and have been very satisfied but not this time. At least the beach was first class.
