We love staying at this house. Everything we look for with location and amenities. Beth is always great to work with and back porch has a great view! Easy walk to the beach.

The house was clean, beds were comfortable, and there was a beautiful deck/porch. A very short (3-5 minute) walk to the beach as well. When we were staying there, a tropical storm was coming through, and the host made sure to reach out to us and let us know, making sure we were aware of the high surf and rip current risk. Would definitely stay again!!

Second time staying here, always clean and ready to go. Great porch to sit on ocean view, very quiet neighborhood kid loves the hammock under the porch. Has everything you need on sit.

Loved our stay at Cavu Dunes. Very spacious and everything we needed. Enjoyed relaxing on the front porch with a gorgeous view. We will definitely stay here again!!!

Highly recommend

Beth was a fantastic host and her place is lovely. Steps from the beach and perfect for a small family. We had a great time and the view was perfect. We recommend if you like the laid back non tourist feel!

Spring Break

This was our second time booking this house and we love it. Perfect for our family. We enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle and still enjoying the beach. This house is perfect for that!

Perfect “old Florida” beach cottage!

Recently refreshed with new floors and paint and absolutely adorable! Clean and well stocked with everything we needed from kitchen supplies to beach chairs. Host was warm and accommodating. The porch was our favorite! Covered section for watching storms come in over the ocean and a sun deck. Hear the waves and feel the ocean breeze without paying beach front prices! Highly recommend and will be back!

2025 Summer Beach Vacay

Beth was absolutley the best and kindest host we have ever had! She was quick to respond with any questions we had. The porch and downstairs outdoor seating was perfect to feel the Gulf Breeze. The house had plenty of room, lots of extra linens/towels, and both rooms with comfortable beds. The view of the ocean was beautiful from the lg porch, and was a short walk to the beautiful Gulf. Our family enjoyed this cute beach house and will be back.

Worth Your Time

Check in process was smooth, host was very accommodating and the property is perfect. The property is located a short hop, skip, and jump from the beach. We enjoyed the view from the front deck of the gulf each morning/evening and this is the perfect spot to unwind. Kitchen is loaded with everything you need to cook. Will stay here again and would highly recommend. Accurately described.

My family and I absolutely loved this beach house. The house is very clean; the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. We loved being able to see the beach from the front porch and the public access was so close making trips back and forth from the beach a breeze. One of our favorite things about this house was it felt secluded even though there were houses around it. It was fantastic having a bathroom under the house for outside use. The host was very accommodating, quick to respond and so easy to work with. Would have loved to meet her in person. We look forward to staying in this house again when visiting Gulf Shores in the future. Everything from booking, check-in, stay, check-out was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay in Gulf Shores and can't wait to return.

Relaxing Get-away

While my elderly parents were visiting us in Fairhope for 2 weeks, we decided to book this house for a couple of nights to enjoy a change of scenery. The 2 bedrooms each had their own private baths, which worked perfectly for the four of us. It was very clean, the kitchen had more than enough dishes, glassware, and cooking utensils. A very short walk to the quiet beach was a welcome change for my parents who were excaping the snow and cold of Minnesota. We found this property to be so ideal, that we plan to visit again soon. Beautiful sunsets and a friendly heron made this a completely wonderful get-away. Glad we booked this!

We have stayed in this neighborhood for a few years and this was hands down our favorite house and host! The house and things at the house were very intuitive and made our stay easy and relaxing! All things pictured were accurate, the furniture was clean and there were several fun things for the kids. We will definitely stay in this house again!
