Twisted Vines Lakehouse-4 bed/4 bath, spacious home @ Cottages on Osoyoos Lake

The Twisted Vines Lakehouse was built in 2022. This 2600 sq ft, 4 bedroom, 4 bath home is located at the Osoyoos Cottages. Nestled on the hillside, against a backdrop of vineyards, the cottage boasts a stunning view of the lake, one that you will want to enjoy while sipping your morning coffee or evening glass of wine from the patio. There are pathways to stroll and a private beach to relax or watch the kids play in the water. There is a beautiful outdoor pool to take advantage of if you need a break from the beach. There are also two outdoor hot tubs and a fully equipped gym in the clubhouse for guests to use.

Our cottage was built with families in mind and has a large movie and games area in the downstairs great room, as well as a rod hockey table, fooseball, ping pong table and a table to enjoy many of the games provided. The cottage is in close proximity to many local wineries and restaurants. If you're seeking a way to burn off some energy while you're visiting, the KartPlex at Area 27 is a must see! You can watch local drivers race or you can rent go karts for a friendly race against family and friends. If you prefer a slower pace, the fall and winter are perfect times to get away to the south Okanagan. Mt Baldy ski resort is an absolute gem for skiing and snowboard enthusiasts and it's only a short 40 minute drive from the cottage.

Whether you're travelling with kids or just adults, we have set up our cottage with all the amenities that you would expect to have a relaxing vacation. The kitchen is well stocked so that you can prepare all your favourite meals or snacks. There is a Napoleon propane barbecue on the upper patio and lots of patio seating to enjoy the lake views. We invite you to make yourselves at home while you're visiting.

The Lakehouse was a perfect location for our family. Very spacious with lots of amenities.We enjoyed the proximity to many wineries and golf courses, and the fact that it was conveniently located between both Osoyoos and Oliver.The hosts couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating.

Amazing!! The house was everything we’d hoped for and more! We come to the Okanagan for wine tastings every year and this house was the best one yet!The house is beautiful, well organized and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was a dream, the beds super comfy, and the outdoor space was perfection. From small touches to helpful information from the hosts, the things we loved about this house are endless. We will definitely book again next year

Osoyoos Family Vacation

The Twisted Vines Lakehouse delivered as described and we had a great time with our extended family (5 adults and our 2 daughters 7 & 9). The house had great ammenities downstairs with games and had enough space for everyone.

A beautiful home, with fabulous views of the lake.We took advantage of all that the lakehouse had to offer from the deck which was perfect for enjoying the star filled sky in the evenings, to afternoons swims and relaxing on the beach.The ping pong and foosball games were a hit, Bocce Ball would have been enjoyable, but otherwise this home has lots to offer with games and fun for all ages. The accommodations were great and our group of 7 had ample space for sociializing as well as relaxing.If you are looking for a get-away to the lake, this is a wonderful option.

Beautiful home

We enjoyed a multi generational family vacation and the house was perfect! The owners have thought of everything and the house is furnished and outfitted with lovely quality things, nothing cheap and rental like at this property! The children enjoyed the games tables and their own space and we all enjoyed the deck. The beach, pool and the ambience of the community made for a thoroughly enjoyable vacation for all.

Wonderful place to stay.. would definitely rent again!!

The place is very comfortable and inviting. Jen and her team even gave us a gift bag filled with goodies and bottle of wine. It was very well stocked with housewares and everyday essentials which made it very convenient for us. The host was very responsive to all of my text and inquiries. Despite the smokey air and various closure due to wildfire, we still had a great time.

This vacation property is absolutely outstanding!! We were a 3 generation family of 9 who stayed for a week. The layout of the home provided ample space for all of us with the well equipped rec room in the basement, perfect for the child and young adults in our group, to the stunning views from the open concept upper level and deck, enjoyed with coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. The bedrooms are spaced such that none share a wall, providing privacy for couples.As previous reviews mentioned, the house is well equipped from kitchen items to toiletries to beach supplies (towels, chairs, etc).The community pools, hot tubs and gym area are well maintained and cleaned daily. We rented a golf cart, it was an added convenience to travel to the beach and pool, or for a leisurely tour of the beautiful cottage community. Highly recommend this fun option.The hostess was responsive to questions we had, answering our texts within minutes.Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!! We hope to return for 10 days next year.We highly recommend this vacation home!

Beautiful property and location

We had a wonderful stay at the property. Everything we needed was there including a new pack and play for our 1 year old to sleep in and a high chair. Jennifer left us a very thoughtful gift bag to welcome us which included wine, snacks and some baby food packs, a lovely touch. All of the beds we extremely comfortable. The view from the living room is magical and it has a cosy feel in the evenings once the sun has gone down. Jennifer's communication with us for check in and out was excellent. We've already started talking about when we can book to visit again. Thank you Jennifer for a wonderful stay.

An amazing stay!

Our stay at this property was absolutely delightful. From start to finish, everything was exactly as described in the listing. Sparkling clean and comfy

Everything you need is here! Sparkling clean and bright, well-equipped and spacious. Our family stayed at Twisted Vines for seven luxurious nights. Communication with host was great. The kids really enjoyed playing the Pacman, Foosball and hockey games in the downstairs rec room. There was also a good supply of board games for the adults to play in the evenings. We spent many fun hours in the pool and lake. We also appreciated the welcome gift bag which was filled with yummy goodies for all. We would definitely recommend this cottage to our family and friends. Wished we could have stayed longer and we hope to return next year.

Great family vacation rental

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cottage! This vacation rental was definitely built and designed with family time in mind! Upon entering the cottage, there was a nice gift bag with a welcome note from the owners and some treats too! We appreciated all of the little details throughout the home such as child friendly dishes in the kitchen, beach towels, lots of board games and even comic books in one of the dedicated kids rooms. The kitchen table was quite large which provided a comfortable space for meals as well as playing games as a group. The bedrooms were all very spacious with comfortable beds and two rooms included large ensuites. The lake views were beautiful which we could enjoy with plenty of outdoor seating to create an extra living space! Our family most definitely enjoyed the games room and play space downstairs - this was a huge hit! We would highly recommend staying at The Twisted Vines Lakehouse for your next family vacation :)

AMAZING vacation home!!!!

We just completed our stay in this new vacation home at The Cottages. Everything about this place was exceptional! So clean, beautifully decorated with a calm, peaceful feel. So much room for the kids! Lots to do in the bottom floor, they had ping pong, foosball, vintage pac man gaming piece, large screen tv for movie's plus 1 on the main floor as well. There are also a bunch of board games available to use. We loved that the bottom bedroom felt just like the mainfloor master bedroom having a king bed and its own ensuite. There is also another bedroom plus large couch to sleep on and bathroom downstairs, making this home perfect to share with another family. The views are incredible! Having a nice large deck with comfy furniture was a nice touch to relax in the sun and look out over the lake and mountains. Being able to bbq was also a bonus. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook, just had to bring the food :) The grounds around the hottub, pools and beach area are well taken care of and we enjoyed a nice fire at the beach with the kids. Will definitely come back to this vacation home!

Our recent stay at the Cottages was an absolute dream come true for our three families. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for an unforgettable vacation. The cottage exceeded all expectations, comfortably accommodating our three families without feeling cramped. The spacious living areas allowed us to come together for memorable meals, game nights, and heartfelt conversations. The bedrooms were beautifully appointed, offering a peaceful haven for restful nights after days filled with adventure. The true gem of this getaway was undoubtedly the breathtaking lake view. Mornings were a magical experience as we enjoyed coffee on the deck, watching the sun dance upon the water's surface. Evenings were equally enchanting, with stunning sunsets creating the perfect backdrop for our shared stories and laughter. We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful amenities provided by the host. The well-stocked kitchen made meal preparation a breeze, and the selection of games kept both kids and adults entertained for hours on end. What truly made our vacation exceptional was the exceptional hospitality of our host. They constantly communicated and were readily available to answer any questions or concerns. We didn’t want to leave!!

The moment you walk through the door, you can feel yourself relaxing. The Twisted Vines Lakehouse is clean, beautifully and comfortably decorated, and has a gorgeous lake view. This would be the perfect place for families, couples, or a group of friends. There are two master suites and lots of comfortable seating options inside & out. The beds are comfortable, the layout is fantastic, and the kitchen is well-equipped. The rec room has a comfy sectional, a big screen tv, a games table and a large assortment of games to choose from, foosball, rod hockey, and a PacMan arcade game! The garage has a ping pong table and a wagon full of things to take to the beach. The Cottages amenities include a huge sandy beach with fire pits, a floating dock, a beach volleyball court, 2 playgrounds, lots of green space and walking trails, 2 pools (regular & shallow), 2 hot tubs, and a gym. If you want to explore, our local favourites include KartPlex at Area 27, Rattlesnake Canyon, and horseback riding at Indian Grove Riding Stables. We have rented watercraft in Osoyoos (with & without a driver). Hubby has enjoyed golfing at Desert Gold, Fairview Mountain, and Nk’mip Canyon. Our favourite wineries include Hester Creek, Burrowing Owl, Tinhorn Creek, and Platinum Bench, but we have just gotten started! The owner was extremely responsive. I really appreciated the app that links to their guidebook; it is always at your fingertips! We highly recommend this property and will definitely be back!

We love the Oliver, Osoyoos, OK Falls and Penticton areas and we are so happy to be able to provide a place for you, your friends, and family to stay and relax while you're visiting these areas. The weather is always warm and sunny and there is so much to do, no matter what season you decide to travel to the area!
