We are sorry to hear that the property was not the right fit for your group. The home, including the room sizes, layout, number of stairs, furnishings, and outdoor spaces, is represented in the listing photos and description as accurately as possible. We understand that things can sometimes feel different in person, but the property itself is as advertised. We were not made aware of any issue with the toaster during your stay. Had it been reported, we would have been happy to bring a replacement. The carpets were professionally cleaned prior to the rental season; however, after a full summer of guest use, some staining can unfortunately occur. We have not recently received a report regarding stained carpet, but we will certainly inspect and address anything that needs attention. We are also sorry that the deck chairs were lower than you preferred and that the number of stairs was difficult for your group. None of these concerns were reported to our office during your stay, so we unfortunately were not given the opportunity to address them. While we understand that every property will not be the perfect fit for every guest, we are disappointed to receive a one-star rating based largely on features of the home that are shown in the listing and concerns that were never brought to our attention during the stay.
