¡El mejor lugar en Highlands! A solo una cuadra de Main Street y Old Edwards Inn, esta casa de cinco dormitorios tiene una mezcla única de modernidad y montaña y es maravillosa para grupos grandes o familias múltiples. Las ventanas del piso al techo y un enorme porche trasero dan al lago Harris y a la montaña Satulah. En la planta baja hay dos suites de lujo separadas por una sala de estar. Cada suite tiene dos dormitorios y un baño completo. Arriba hay una gran sala perfecta para reunirse. Una chimenea, mesa de comedor para diez, cocina moderna, tocador, suite principal con tocadores dobles, bañera y ducha independientes y una terraza cubierta masiva completan el segundo piso. Dos salas de lavandería, WIFI. Televisor HD de 65 pulgadas. Estacionamiento fuera de la vía pública para seis autos. ¡Este refugio de montaña te está esperando!

The place was absolutely amazing. The combo of being a stones throw from downtown and the ample outdoor space to run and hang (including screened in porch) was perfect for our big family with kids.

The location of this home is "Simply the Best". It is walking distance for everything. The house was very clean. The owners responded very quickly to any of the questions we had, both before the trip and during. I would definitely recommend this house for anyone.

Home was absolutely beautiful and perfectly situated in walking distance to most places. Owners were very responsive when we reached out. A few extra amenities (small toiletries and a few spices (salt & pepper, etc) would have helped our grocery runs however overall fantastic home and visit!!! Loved the church bells, visits from the nearby bears, waterfalls and creating wonderful memories.

Highly recommend!

I highly recommend this lovely home! It’s in the center of town but off the main drag so you have plenty of quiet and privacy. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and within walking distance of everything. A perfect spot to stay for our family wedding!

Farm at Old Edward’s Wedding Weekend

We booked this beautiful home 13 months before our daughter’s wedding at the Farm.The floor plan was perfect for family group with many fresh bathrooms and kitchen.The location was absolutely perfect for the local dinners out and visits with friends and family at the local pubs.Thank you for being great owners, and super communicators. Great House in Downtown Highlands

House was perfect for our entire family. Proximity to downtown highlands is a big plus. The lake was very nice. House is appointed with every thing we needed. House is beautiful!

Incredibly tasteful home in ideal location

We stayed at this property for the Highlands F&W festival and couldn’t have asked for a better house. I have rented many homes before so I have a baseline of what to expect, this house exceeded! Great mix of antiques and quality pieces, not cheap rental furniture. The layout is ideal especially with multiple couples as each group can have their own “wing”. We loved turning the fire on each morning and making breakfast while staring out at the pond. Location can’t be beat if you want the walk to town option without being IN town. Right by mountain fresh grocery which made for easy coffee runs. Also super close to the botanical garden and nature center which we did with kids. Plenty of towels and hangers too which is always so nice when traveling. We had one issue where I needed to contact Laird and she was not only extremely responsive but also considerate and helpful! We look forward to renting again!

Cannot wait to return to this beautiful property!

We were not able to enjoy this lovely home for long, due to the hurricane, but hope to visit again soon. The location is absolutely perfect, an easy walk into town, but set far enough away that it is private and quiet. A great layout for a large group of friends, with a big screened in porch that would be perfect for relaxing in the morning, or after a day out. Laird was a wonderful host and we hope to come back and try again.

We had our wedding party stay here during our wedding weekend and everything was wonderful! The property was absolutely stunning, clean and perfectly thought out for large groups. Highly recommend staying here for your trip to Highlands!

Wedding Weekend

A perfect place for my family to stay for the four days of my daughter’s wedding weekend at The Farm at Old Edwards. Very comfortable space and great deck area. The 2-minute walk to the downtown area made it easy take advantage of the shopping and restaurants.

We (Laird&Matt) have been coming to the highlands for over 20 years. Being Atlanta residents we love the cool weather and laid back attitude of the mountains.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We walked by this property for years and always thought it would be the perfect place to build a home. It is on a lake, has amazing views of the mountains and is only one block from Main Street and Old Edwards Inn! It really has it all. We never would have imagined we'd be able to acquire the property, and when we did we set out on a two year journey to design and build a perfect place for extended families to gather.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We love that we can park our cars for the weekend and just relax. We can look at the lake and the mountains and then walk to Main street in a less than a minute. We designed the house so that two families could each have two bedrooms and a bath and then a couple could stay up in the master bedroom. Everyone gets an equally great place to stay.
