We're sorry to hear that you did not have the five-star stay we endeavor to provide our guests. - We aim for transparency and our listing and photos are accurately advertised. The house is not designed as a duplex-style property. The basement has a distinct separate entrance, preventing downstairs guests from accessing the upstairs area. Additionally, the backyard can be accessed through the kitchen, mudroom, and then the backyard. To ensure you were aware of the guest in the basement, we reached out to you about the situation before your arrival. To confirm on the layout, the unit isn’t being shared as the listing states 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms which doesn’t include the basement. For clarification, the backyard, however, is open and shared. - It's important to us that guests have the necessities for their stay. We have stocked extra paper towels and plenty of trash bags under the sink for guest convenience. There are also extra towels in both the upstairs and main downstairs bathrooms. - Guest comfort and satisfaction are important to us.
