Nestled up in the hills above Leavenworth rests Icicle View. While being close enough to Leavenworth to be convenient, you'd never realize it. Nothing but views of the mountains and valley and wildflowers out of every window.

ABOUT ICICLE VIEW

Icicle View is a rare gift where you are less than ten minutes from town, and yet you cannot see a single neighbor from any window inside the house. There's room enough and more to spare here. Four bedrooms means you can hang out with people, or separate to do your own things. The downstairs family room can also be used as a sleeping room in warmer weather to enjoy the natural temperatures of the lower level.

The living room has comfy furnishings looking out two story views (but with blinds to help with too much sunlight!) of the mountains and valley surrounding Leavenworth. In the summertime there's 180 degrees of green. In the wintertime, it's a snowlover's paradise. This is a house that feels like a cabin with its wood ceilings and stone accents.

For the cook in the group, there's a large kitchen with a full suite of appliances and plenty of dinnerware, pots, pans and utensils. The beautiful granite kitchen bar provides a convenient spot to sip your morning coffee and chat with the chef. And full-size washer and dryer let you clean up easily after a day of hiking or skiing.

Golfing, shopping, white water rafting, and skiing are all within 10 minutes of this amazing mountain home. No matter what your desire in Leavenworth, you can do it all within a short drive. Or, just stay up in the loft sitting in the rocking chair with a book and while away the afternoon doing absolutely nothing. This house gives you the opportunity to do either so easily. Just sit and watch the snow fall, or the leaves dance in the breeze.

Be advised, this is an area with abundant wildlife. Animals, including bears, may come on the property at any time. Take caution around wildlife, and do not leave children unattended.

Guests can make quick trips to town for gourmet food, gracious stores and numerous activities – like river rafting, outdoor theatre and seasonal concerts of every repertoire.

Some winter guests bring snowshoes and head directly onto the trails that run for hundreds of miles through the Cascade Mountains. Others choose to cross country ski in the area, or drive west to find superb downhill skiing at the resort at Stevens Pass.

If you're familiar with the Bavarian Village of Leavenworth, you'll be sure to want to take part in all the seasonal activities. Winter brings Christmas lighting shows and nonstop caroling. Summertime is all about horseback riding, river tubing, and fishing.

During the spring and summer, you'll be able to enjoy the scenic views, as well as the village events that are great in the warm weather. The Bavarian Maifest happens in May to celebrate spring when wildflowers are blooming and the apple & pear blossoms come alive.

Autumn in the Bavarian Village means Oktoberfest for three weeks straight. The village fills with people coming together to celebrate all things BEER! Aside from the beer, there's nonstop live music, German foods and local arts & crafts.

Winter in the Bavarian Village of Leavenworth is quite a sight to see. You won't want to miss out on this spirited and unique village as it celebrates Christkindlmarkt. Throughout the village, there are Christmas Lighting Ceremonies as well as singing, dancing and tons of entertainment.

Due to government and owner requirements, occupancy may never exceed the number of registered guests, dogs and vehicles. Drop-in guests are not allowed.
