Fun times at Beachfront Bliss

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful week at Beachfront Bliss during the week of Thanksgiving 2025. The home was very spacious for 6 adults. Plenty of bathrooms for privacy. The lot is private with plenty of parking and excellent access to the beach. The upstairs master bedroom closet was extremely packed with owner’s possessions and it was difficult to hang clothes in that I had to reach over multiple objects to hang my clothing. The house was clean but did appear it needed a deep cleaning noting spider webs and a few lizards in the house. The kitchen was great for food preparation as well as the washer and dryer. We also enjoyed the lively and cheerful decor.

A great Spring vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. It was spacious for our family of 6 and would have been fine for the 8 we thought would be there. The beach is an easy walk even for a 3 & 5 year old. You are close to the bike trail for delightful rides around the island. A couple people enjoyed the golf courses. The kitchen supplies could have been a bit nicer--I'm talking about sharper knives, better frying pans etc. but it all worked out fine.

Nice Short Stay (Bring TP!)

We booked this for a short last minute stay. Everything was clean and in good order. The bedrooms are dated, but the kitchen has been renovated and is very nice. Our main issue was that the beach access boardwalk for this street has been washed out so you have to go to the neighboring street's boardwalk. You have to go around a fence and across the neighbor's driveway, which can be awkward if the neighbor is outside. Also, this property does not provide toilet paper or soap or trash bags, which is different from every other property we've ever rented. They do disclose this in a letter after you book, but we overlooked that. So bring TP! Luckily, they left a gift bag with one roll, so we were okay until the next day.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was spacious and in a great location. We loved walking to the beach in the a.m. and watching the sunrise. There were three issues: (1) many of the electrical outlets do not work; (2) none of the TVs worked in the bedrooms - only the living area TV worked; (3) the upstairs toilet keep running and would never flush. We would get it to work and then same thing over and over. We gave up and all the families used the one toilet in the main hallway. I would not recommend this property until the maintenance issues are addressed. Otherwise, it is a great property to stay. We loved going to

Beachfront Bliss

Reviewer Comments: Our annual trip with the girls is always fun..we loved Jekyll Island and all the activities. Everyone at Jekyll Realty was awesome. The only thing we did not like was the cleanliness and upkeep of the house. It needs a lot of work and an overall deep cleaning. We won’t stay at this property again but we will come back to Jekyll Island.

Had a nice stay at Jekyll Island. Beach is a short walk away and very convenient. House is well located with easy access. Kitchen and master bath have been updated. Some areas could use a little TLC. While not a significant issue, the AC on the main living floor not the greatest.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House is in a good location on north end of island. Access to beach is an easy, short walk using Bliss access. No issues with beach access. Kitchen and master bath have been updated. Enjoyed the roof top porch as had a "super moon" while there and got some nice photos. Overall the property is nice and met our expectations. Does need a little TLC in some areas but nothing that detracts from the property. There are a number of large floor to ceiling windows on main floor which makes for great views but think causes the AC to struggle a little on main floor due to heat radiating from the windows. Would stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we enjoy the property, however the kitchen amenities are increasingly disappointing. MANY of the dishes we took out of the cupboards were put away dirty by the previous inhabitants. We ended up having to just wash everything before using, to be safe. The cookware is old and in poor shape and lacks the range of pots and pans we sometimes need to cook the meals we want. Lastly, the air conditioning can be an issue. To keep the main level at a comfortable temperature we have to freeze out the downstairs bedrooms. (This is probably just one of those things with a split level home like this, but it does detract from our enjoyment, so it bears mentioning.

The house was spacious but needs some TLC . We felt for the price the blinds should be repaired and the AC in the master upstairs was not big enough for the space. The downstairs unit kept the lower level very cool but the family room and kitchen stayed very warm. I think they need a bigger unit ~ also they don’t provide dish towels . I would have brought some but I have never stayed in a home without them. The walk to the beach was a big plus! Easy to get too! For the most part a nice house just needs a few things fixed to justify the price.

However the house does need some TLC. The screens and blinds are in need of repair/replacement. The house also does need a thorough cleaning. The corners had dust and we found dropped utensils on the floor in the screen room.

Nice and roomy, great location-a short walk to get to the beach and a block from bike trails. The house has two masters so both couples had a master bed and bath and the other two had their own room. A charcoal grill allowed us to grill burgers outside.

Lawn not cut, mold and mildew on front and back porch. Management said lawn was not cut due to rain and would be cut the next day. Never happened. Sand spurs covered backyard so could not use. Neighboring properties were all beautifully manicured. House smelled as if closed for extended time. Air conditioning barely functional upstairs. Blinds covered with dust and hardly functional. Management offered to move us but stated there were no comparable pet friendly properties.

September 2023 Stay

we really enjoyed spending a few days at Beachfront Bliss for our 4 generation family trio. The grandkids loved the house and decor. We used the map of the island, painted on the kitchen wall, to plan our siteseeing each day. Everyone said they would definitely come back!

If you haven’t been to Jekyll Island during Christmas time, it’s a must see. Lights were beautiful and we even saw the island parade. Would definitely come back again especially to rent this house. We had a great time staying at Beachfront Bliss. The property had plenty of room for everyone and conveniently close to beach access. Wish linens and more paper products/ household necessities were included in price and was a bit cleaner... looked like property was just "spot" cleaned.
