Great location, quiet street and walking distance to town and the beach. Dog friendly which is wonderful. House presented clean and fresh. Comfortable sofas to relax on and good quality sheets on the beds.

Great property

We had a lovely stay. The location was great, close to town centre and beach. All within short walking distance. Stayed as a family or 4 with teen kids and the dog. House was as advertised, nice, clean property, would definitely stay again and recommend. All positives.

Returning guest - great location and layout

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although we love this property and specifically returned after visiting previously in Feb through , the washing machine still hasn't been fixed despite us complaining at the time. The sliding screen doors to the alfresco also weren't working meaning you couldn't access the front deck via these doors. Expect better from a property at this price. The location is outstanding, however.

We did get the washing machine serviced upon your departure in February and have had no issues since. We also have not had any problems with the alfresco sliding doors, perhaps they were key locked and required the key to open? Kind Regards Luxury Breaks South West

Reviewer Comments: What a fantastic get away home, we were comfortable the moment we arrived and enjoyed every minute of our stay at Footsteps.Location is great being situated between the beach and easy walk to town should you need any supplies or a feed.The home has everything you need and is clean with every detail thoroughly placed for our comfort.I was away with my elderly parents both in their 80’s and they absolutely loved it so much they didn’t want to leave.Was Definitely worth it and will be booking again soon.Thank you footsteps for our stay.

There were unfortunately a number of negatives for us with this stay. The beds were uncomfortable with mostly old, soft mattresses, the 2 singles stained. There was no air con which is mind blowing considering this is Western Australia by the beach - temperatures reach mid 30s consistently. The property needs a good clean and there should be a decent vacuum with all working parts for guests to use. The washing machine is very noisey, perhaps on its way out and needs replacing to a modern unit. The stay was very overpriced for the standard of the house.

Hi Laura Thank you for your feedback, although we are a little confused regarding the no aircon comment as there is an aircon unit in the main kitchen/living/dining area as well as ceiling fans, and ceiling fans in all bedrooms. We find this sufficient for cooling options in summer. Thank you for notifying us about the washing machine and vacuum, we will pass this onto the owners. Regards Luxury Breaks South West

Underwhelmed for the price

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Faultless location, very close to beach and town (walking distance). However, the property smelt heavily of cigarettes immediately as we checked in. Considering this property is marketed as a ‘Luxury Escape’, there were simple things that required attention, the master bed was exceptionally uncomfortable, the ironing board was broken with the cover so thin that your clothes were left with a checkered mark as you ironed. And also broken and brittle washing pegs. Most of these are a cheap and quick fix. Additionally, we were charged $50 cleaning fee for the BBQ, which was dirty and required us to clean it before we used it.

We loved having a drink on the front deck in the afternoon whilst the kids played cricket on the lawn. Highly recommend and we will be coming back
