"Arco iris, las olas y vistas para morirse .. Usted nunca quiero dejar mi Beach Front Condo ... !! No puedes acercarte más al agua o estarás en ella .. !! Sin mencionar las puestas de sol escandalosas que harán brillar cada pulgada de tu cuerpo;))

Majestuosas vistas desde todas las habitaciones, excepto la habitación adicional que tiene una vista del estuario de vida silvestre. Cuando sube la marea en el estuario se llena de agua, así que rodeado de agua por ambos lados. No hay "nada entre usted y el océano" Un alojamiento magnífico alquiler de frente de playa con espectaculares vistas del Océano Pacífico desde cada habitación ... este alquiler es una "unidad en la esquina inferior" y muy singular si quieres estar cerca de la agua..!! Es muy accesible desde el momento en que aparcar, con 4 pequeños pasos a la puerta principal. Cada habitación tiene una vista al mar, excepto la habitación de invitados que tiene una impresionante vista del estuario fauna .. !! Este alquiler de vacaciones se encuentra en una, el establecimiento de un-congestionada exuberante vegetación en la orilla Southland. El condominio estaba muy bien amueblada tiene una vista impresionante del agua, los surfistas y vistas a la silueta de las islas de Coronado. Incluso se puede echar un vistazo a los delfines que pasan jugando en las olas. Alquilar caballos de trote estimulando a lo largo de la orilla! A pie de muelle para la pesca deportiva, y visitar Sea World y el Zoológico de San Diego! Relajarse en dos patios privados desde el dormitorio principal y sala de estar que camina derecho hacia la playa. A pesar de que no tenemos una piscina (nuestro jardín es todo océano) tendrá acceso a una gran instalación de piscina municipal con dos piscinas (una para largos y uno para que los niños jueguen). Incluye un gimnasio completo en la playa equipar con un centro de baloncesto y gimnasio de escalada en roca. Hay senderos para ciclismo y ciclismo de carretera con caminos, Gran golf cercano, Voleibol y Tenis, montar a caballo en la playa ... mi paseo favorito es en la luna llena .. !! Ven a disfrutar de los restaurantes, tiendas exclusivas, y salir de la vida nocturna de San Diego!
Durante la temporada alta hasta julio y mediados de agosto, los alquileres serán de sábado a sábado.

Imperial Beach at its finest.

The property was as nice as shown on line. We were literally on the waves. From the sliding doors to the rocks was only 20 feet! The King tides were amazing. We loved our stay here.

Relaxing, private getaway...

This condo was spacious and very comfortable. It is indeed, "only steps to the beach". The owner was gracious and shared a lot of info about the property. Our dog was delighted with the beach access! We would come back again some time.

Relaxing stay & great location

Great place to stay right next to the beach. Plenty of towels, linens, floor fans & kitchen appliances. The parking spot was a challenge to get in & out of, but now I am able to reverse park LOL! The only down side is the moisture/ mist from the ocean that make the tile floor wet constantly, this is when the towels come in handy. I suggest packing some non-slip socks to walk around in. Other than that, great location and dog friendly neighborhood!

Like being at home only at the beach :)

We stayed here for 8 nights and had a wonderful time. We have never stayed anywhere south of San Diego/Gas Lamp area and were pleasantly surprised. The area is great, so much within a mile walking distance. The condo is well equipped and spacious. I am kind of a clean freak and this place made me feel perfectly comfortable. You can't beat the location. You get very little foot traffic since it is a little above the beach and really private for a condo. The beach is right there and the view is awesome! The condo could use a few updates here and there but nothing that would keep me from coming back again......and I'd love to!!!

We loved the condo and location to beach

We were looking for quiet, safe, comfortable, clean and with amazing views - and that is exactly what we got. Everything went smooth from booking - to speaking with owner about details - to finding - to enjoying our days. Kayli, the owner, was delightful and shared everything we needed to know. She accommodated our needs to make our stay rewarding to fit with our times and variables due to traveling with my elderly mother. I got to run on the beach at sunset, hubby got to finally enjoy time off work and do some chillaxin', mom got to see the ocean and collect sea shells. Special note: everything you need is there and available-from kitchenware to fireplace and all in between. Just pack your toothbrush and beach clothes and your good!

BBQ and beratement

Owner needs customer service lessons. She failed to mention water was contaminated at that time also. there is no bbq which is half the reason I rented it, please change that because it upset me greatly. Location is beautiful. House needs remodeling but is well stocked for any occasion. I left house in great condition and received email that I am being refunded full deposit 5 days ago and still have not.

Hello Meija, I'm very sorry the beach was closed !! In the winter when big storms arise depending on which way the current and tide goes out could affect our beaches and Coronado, or Pacific or Mission Beach. In a few days the water will clear up, and it's safe again for swimming. You can always be on the beach for walking, jogging, hiking.. :-))!! Meija you security deposit refund is held with vrbo and they have a 5-7 business day turn around. Please call vrbo and let them know your still waiting for your security deposit !! I'm sorry you didn't like the mirrors, we added them since it gives an awesome reflection of the water and make the rooms appear larger and brighter !! Thank you for your comments, Kayli :-))

Ocean water often contaminated - Kids not welcome

THE BAD (there is good - see end of review) Sewage contaminated ocean water and water off-limits to swimmers: The Tijuana River (which this property is close to) spills sewage into the ocean (this has been happening for decades - we didn't know this before we got to the property). For the duration of our stay, it was posted all along the beach to not get in the water. After looking it up, we found out this happens a good portion of the year (if you want beach front property, it may be in your best interest to look farther North) Kids are not welcome: During the check-in process, while speaking with the property owner over the phone, we were told twice that it would be best for our kids to always eat outside so "microfiber" crumbs do not get on the floor or counter tops and attract ants. We were asked to buy ant killer (using our own money and vacation time) and put it out (I don't mind helping, but have the ant killer available for guests to use if you are going to ask). We were also asked to put linens on the couches so the kids didn't get them dirty. We were also told that no sand at all could get in the house (this seemed impossible considering the proximity of the property to the beach). Between the crumbs and sand requests, we did not feel very relaxed inside the property, especially with our kids. Lease agreement fiasco: We were promised a few different times that the lease agreement would be provided to us so we could sign it and scan it back. Each time, the lease agreement did not come at the promised time. It was finally provided at 1:30 am (just a few hours before we had to get to the airport early in the morning to catch our flight). This was especially inconvenient because we were told several times that we had to sign the document and scan it back to the property owner before we could get into the property (an electronic signature was eventually accepted after complaining that the agreement was sent late). The sofa bed is not in good shape Picture #4 in the property posting (as of Sept 2019) is taken from a balcony. This balcony is not part of the property. THE GOOD Really pretty views Plenty of parking across the street Silverware, dishes and cups available and the dishwasher worked Outside provides a chill/relaxed atmosphere Washing machine and dryer worked well Plenty of towels and linens The neighbors were nice The new sliding glass doors and screens were really nice

What I LOVED: LOTS of fresh towels available. Many vrbo's I've stayed in have barely had enough for a stay, so this was a lovely surprise! The LOCATION. Being able to walk straight out onto the beach was lovely, the view amazing, even seeing whales and dolphins out in the water one morning. A lovely walking distance to the pier. NOT SO GREAT was that the livingroom doors still do not open, and this has been ongoing since at least October, as I read in another review. One of the couches was covered with a dirty sheet, so we just avoided that one. Communication with the owner was difficult to make happen, and once it did, it remained difficult in that she talked over me and raised her voice, as mentioned in another review as well. Her cleaning crew was late so we were unable to bring our groceries into the condo until over an hour past check in time. We set our groceries on the front step and walked the beach while we waited. During this time the owner called me and told me I needed to immediately go back to the condo to communicate with her cleaning crew for her, which I found very unprofessional. This was because although I felt the owner had given me permission to drop our bags at the condo early, the owner denied that she gave this permission unless the cleaning crew was present. I did not get that message when we spoke. When she called to give directions to get into the condo and the rules of staying there, she talked extremely fast, and I had to rapidly write 2pagesofinfo down. This info could be typed& emailedOn the last day of our stay, we left the condo one hour before checkout time to go walk for one last coffee. I forgot my phone so I went to go back in, and we were locked out. The combo to get into the condo had already expired! So watch out for that! Thank heavens I had accidentally left the bedroom sliding door unblocked, or we wouldn't have been able to get back in! Many windows in the condo didn't open, and it would get stuffy at times. Fan in the master bathroom broken, and even the toilet paper roll holder was held together by electrical tape. These little things wouldn't matter so much if the owner had not spoken harshly to me on the phone. I didn't feel that I would want to contact her even if I needed to after being treated like an employee by her. The cleaning crew should have been contacted ahead of time by the owner so they knew we would be dropping our bags off early. We did not have a car to store them in until checkin time.

I'm deeply sorry you felt my communication with you was so abrupt. First of all you were walking on the beach with the wind and sounds of the ocean, I could barley hear you!! When I spoke you asked me to speak up. You asked my permission to access the condo before check in at 3 pm. I specifically said when you arrive to ask the cleaning ladies if it would be alright to leave your luggage and groceries in the unit while their cleaning. Instead you put them in the unit without checking with them. You took Uber and had nowhere else to leave your things, which would delay their cleaning time with those obstacles, your luggage, groceries, and can be very confusing when they see luggage, groceries, it looks like tenants are staying, which is why I wanted you to return as soon as possible to let them know before they were to leave, not knowing it was yours!! You also know the Patio sliding glass door off the master bedroom works fine, and the one off the living room does not open, and has been on back oder for months since its retro fit, and had to change companies. Were very anxious to have( 2) Simonton retrofit sliding glass doors with white vinyl frames, coastal package with tempered Low-E glass and argon and finished on the interior with primed door casing.. Installed April 18, 2019. You mentioned the windows would not open, and the light in the master bedroom bathroom was out. There are 2 light in the master bedroom and the heat lamp was out and they did not have the style we needed. All the window's work great. The cleaning ladies put a clean sheet over the new couches, since they thought you were bringing your pets and wanted to protect the couches. The locks are keyless entry and as long as you have the code you'll never get locked out, which is what we love and so easy, never have to worry about loosing keys etc. It's much easier to verbally go over my unit and then it's fresh it's in your mind:-) I take huge pride in my unit and will continue to work very hard in maintaining my unit. When there is an unforeseen circumstance, or a special request I always try and accommodate. I can always be reachable by phone or text. My goal is to share this little piece of heaven with those that never had the chance to experience being so close to the ocean, wild life estuary, miles and miles of sandy beaches, rock formations, and so much more.. seeing and sharing is believing, since there is nothing like it:-)) Thank you, Kayli :-)

This listing is not as described and the owner was difficult to work with

When we arrived at this condo is was not the heaven on earth as described. The photos are outdated and do not show the true nature of the condo’s condition. The frig was taped together, mirrors throughout the entire condo were rubbed off, the bathtub surface was worn off, lamps were rusted, toilet paper holder was taped together, the outdoor hose holder was completely rusted away, and the couches were old and dirty feeling. Large pieces of glass came out of the ice maker and we were lucky no one swallowed any. When I called the owner she just blew it off and said we should empty the ice maker. The condo smelled of animals when we arrived but we assumed it was par for the course with the way to the condo looked. and the way the owner dealt with the glass pieces. I am s super organized person and was willing to sign the rental agreement months ahead of time. I contacted the owner multiple times without much luck. I tried calling, texting, and even emailing through VEBO. When she finally replied I sent the personal information she required three or four times before she finally acknowledged she had received it and sent the rental agreement. Trying to get the code for the condo was a nightmare too. The owner would promise to call right back but would not follow through. We never got the code until 2 hours before check in. I was wondering if it was even going to be a legit place to stay. A week later I got an email from VRBO stating my refund would be zero. The owner accused us of bringing a cat and claimed there was damage. This was absolutely untrue. She didn’t bother to call and talk to me. Instead it was if she was trying to simply keep my deposit and hope I’d not notice. One of our party (4 fifty eight year old high school girlfriends coming from across the country) is allergic to cats! I am always willing to admit my mistakes but in this case I can honestly say I did nothing wrong. There was no cat while we were there. My mistake was believing the listing as described and then assuming the owner was honest. I will not make that mistake again. The owner would not listen to our side of the story and was unwilling to research things from previous renters when I explained how things were when we arrived at the condo We left the condo in better shape than we found it. The kitchen was spotless, dishwasher run, and the bed linens were taken off the beds to help the cleaning crew. I would be very cautiou

Let me start by saying the location is really great, and the condo is fine. It just needs a little updating. Kali should not be renting it though. My experience with her personally was horrible. First off, I scheduled my week 6 months in advance. Kali called me a couple months after I booked and said it had been double booked and I had to change my dates. I changed my plans and took extra days off work, that I did not have to accommodate her. She offered no compensation for the booking errors. Then she asked me to send her the names and ages of everyone in my family so she could create a lease for us. I sent her the info she required and then never heard back from her. Since I have NEVER had to sign a lease for a VRBO I didn't think another thing about it. We got in the car and begin our 13 hour road trip to glorious San Diego! When we were about 5 hours away I called Kali to get the info on how to get into the condo. She said "Did you sign the lease?" I said "You never sent me a lease." She said "Well you should have called me! You cannot get in until you sign the lease." I explained to her that we would be there in about 5 hours so if she wanted me to see the lease that she needed to send it to me now. She told me she was skiing and yelled at me for not calling her when she failed to execute her part of the transaction. Well we got there and.....NO LEASE! I called her, she told me she would have it to me in about 30 min I asked if we could have the code to get in (my 4 children had been in a car for 13 hours). She said no, that I was going to have to wait for the lease, PRINT IT OUT (mind you its 8:30 on a Sunday night), sign it and send it back to her before she would let us in. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!?! She said she was going to have to call her lawyer. So I packed my children back in the car and went to Pizza Hut while she called her lawyer. She finally relented and said she would let us in but she needed to go over the property with me. After yelling at me because I did not have a "full sheet of paper" to take notes on she proceeded to give me all the info in an ELEVEN page lease. We were not to use the disposal, get any "micro-fiber crumbs" anywhere (I did not take my microscope), or speak to the neighbors (there is a property sign that said she was renting illegally). She asked me about our sleeping arrangements, our cooking plans, and my "dirty children." She was insulting and horribly rude and her lease is ridiculous. BEWARE!!!!

I am terribly sorry to hear that you feel this way about your VRBO experience with me. Renting my condo through VRBO is a business of mine that I take extremely seriously, prioritizing the satisfaction of my renters’ needs above all other matters. Thus, I take complaints and issues very seriously. While I truly sympathize for any inconveniences you and your family may have suffered I must disagree with several substantial elements of your account of the situation. First, there was no double booking incident. As a precaution, I called you four months in advance to let you know of a potential conflict with the dates you chose. That same day I called you about the potential conflict, the situation was resolved and I called you to re-confirm that your date was going to work. As I recall, I apologized profusely but you were very upset and short with me. You were so hysterical you even attempted to leverage a better price out of me, which I cannot afford as I already offer the most affordable price I can. Second, you did hear back from me about the lease you failed to sign. Several times. After reserving my unit an automatic Congratulations is sent out which has all the info regarding the agreement and info needed from the traveler to input into your agreement, to sign and send back, before your arrival. Then I followed up via phone to remind you. I patiently waited several months before my next follow up contact by phone and email. Having attempted to get you to sign the lease five times without hearing back from you, I decided to stop bothering you. I gave you as long as I could before I sent you my sixth and last reminder 24 hours before the date of entry. Third, I am a pacifist, I avoid any and all hostile attitudes and behaviors. Accordingly, I am completely averse to raising my voice, let alone yelling argumentatively. The allegation that I yelled is patently untrue. Lastly, I apologize the lease was 11 pages. However, I did give you 6 months to read it. That’s requiring you to read less than 2 pages a month, or half a page a week. I apologize for the conditions you thought seemed excessive, however, they are intended to preserve the unit’s pristine condition for the satisfaction of the renter.

Laid-back Beach Escape With Great Views!

Definitely a great laid-back feel in Imperial Beach. Condo is perfectly located on the ocean side. Beautiful views of the ocean from the master bedroom and living room. Beautiful views of palms and estuary from the front door! The kitchen has been renovated and I really enjoy a nice kitchen to cook in! The owner was attentive and stayed in touch throughout our stay. She is super easy to talk to. She provided plenty of towels and linen. Our kids loved walking down to the beach even though our stay was in the winter months! Plenty of parking all around - except in the private driveway - it was a bit tight. Internet sometimes would cut off but not too big of a deal. There’s some rust/wear on curtain rods and some bathroom light fixtures/mirrors but it’s the beach - gotta love the salty air! Really can’t say anything bad about the rental! We’d love to come back and rent this condo again!

The location was great! Parking is very tight so we parked on the street where there is a lot of room. Our host was able to answer questions prior to check in and also once we got there.

Hello Robert, I'm very sorry the beach was closed !! In the winter when big storms arise depending on which way the current and tide goes out could affect our beach and Coronado, or Pacific or Mission Beach. In a few days the water will clear up, and it's safe again for swimming. You can always be on the beach for walking, jogging, hiking.. :-))!! Robert you security deposit refund is held with vrbo and they have a 5-7 business day turn around. Please call vrbo and let them know your still waiting for your security deposit !! So close you can smell the ocean

My wife and I spent valentine's day weekend at this location. The place was amazing and the communication with the property manager was awesome. We did take our fur baby, so for those who have pets, the place is great. We were extremely relaxed and we hope to visit this place again in the future. The beach is practically a hop and a skip away. Totally enjoyed the walks on the beach. Till our next visit!!!

Amazing Sunsets!

The property is a little aged but is clean, furnished nicely and very comfortable. The patio is awesome for morning coffee and the most amazing sunsets! The ocean is (as promised) right out the patio door! The location is great - within walking distance to pier & pubs, easy drive to local shopping areas and access to interstates for day trips and airport, also lots of beach for daily walks! We would defintely stay here again! Thanks Kayli for sharing with us!!

Truly is "U and the ocean"!

The location of the condo truly is at ocean's edge. The view and the feeling of being right at the ocean is awesome! Kayli was great to work with and spoke with us often as our trip got closer. The condo was clean and ready when we arrived. The Imperial Beach community is relatively quiet compared to the surrounding communities. The close proximity to Coronado via the Silver Strand is a plus. It also made for a scenic drive in the evening over the Coronado Bridge. We wouldn't hesitate staying here again when in the southern part of San Diego county.

GREATEST FAMILY VACATION

Wonderful property . More than waht we expected. Owner is wonderful! Very responsive to all our questions prior to our vacation and followed up with us while we were there to be sure all was good. Our sons and daughters in law came with us to celebrate our anniversary. Accommodations were perfect as was Imperial Beach. We plan to do it again and hope to stay at Kayli’s place again and again

Sound of ocean was great, so close.

Enjoyed our time there, close to everything. So nice to just walk out the back door and be on the beach. All we had to add was food, everything we needed to cook with was there. Great places to eat just down the street.

The property is as described with fantastic ocean views and access. We loved having the new sliding doors open to hear the crashing waves. I would book this property again as the location is stellar. The only suggestion I would make is for the owner to have written instructions for the various features. Never could figure out the fireplace. The coded entry was tricky but with more verbal instructions from the owner we managed to lock and unlock as we came and went. Parking space is SMALL and tricky to use, especially since the space next to us was occupied by an oversized SUV.
