My niece and I had a great experience in this home. It was convenient to anything we wanted or needed and only five minutes from my son’s home for our visit. The management company was quick to respond to any of our needs. We come to Florida often throughout the year to visit our son and his family and will definitely be renting this home again!

Good place to go

Great place to stay but the only down side is it's on a well and the water was a little smelly on our stay.

Had to Evacuate

As we had to evacuate from our home due to Hurricane Milton, this property, I believe built in 2018, was a good shelter. Before and after the storm, we were able to enjoy the home. During the storm, the house was solid. We heard some wind, especially when the back of the eye wall blew through at over 100 mph. We were very pleased with our choice to stay there.

Property Manager Nightmare

This place looked nice, but there were problems. We got a call while we were en route to tell us that we would need to let iin the dishwasher repairman on day 4 of our stay. We hung around that morning to do just that, because we wanted a functioning dishwasher. Meanwhile, we noticed the pool was cold, and figured out that the filter and pump were not working, so no heat, and lots of bugs and stuff floating around. We called and texted the property manager over a dozen times and got told that we were wrong, and the pool was fine, and then they wanted to see photos of the filter system not running. It's very hard to show something not running. We were there for 6 days, and a repair person was never sent out. The pool cleaning company was more helpful when he came for a regular cleaning on the 5th day. He added some chemicals to ensure safe swimming. We still weren't thrilled with the dead bugs and stuff. We paid extra to heat the pool, and we are still waiting for a credit for that. The property manager is still putting us off.

Hi Donald, Thank you for stopping at La Vida Loca. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're sorry to hear about the inconvenience and frustration you faced during your stay, especially regarding the dishwasher repair, pool issues, and communication with the property manager. We understand how disappointing it must have been not to enjoy a properly heated and clean pool, particularly after paying extra for that amenity. We also regret that you had to handle access for a repair during your vacation. Please know that your concerns have been shared with our team for review, and we’re following up regarding the credit for the pool heat. We truly appreciate your feedback and remain committed to improving both our service and guest communication.
