Primitive Path Getaway

Our rental is in a quiet setting at the top of historic Smiley Hollow in Ridgetop, Tenn. What used to be a barn is now a unique residence with all the updated necessities. Enjoy our vaulted ceiling in 800 square feet of comfortable living, a screened in porch, a wrap around deck facing into the woods and a private, luxurious hot tub. Rustic, vintage decor. Refrigerator, microwave, small toaster/small convection oven, Keurig and regular coffee makers. Homemade local soaps and goodies. We are only 25 minutes from the Grand Ole Opry, downtown Nashville and Nissan Stadium. Antique malls and vintage stores near, one dragstrip and one round track, good local food. The rental is on the backside of our home and we both enjoy our privacy and separate entrances. We welcome all to our country home where we specialize in pampering, relaxation and country living! The rental entrance does include stairs.

Wonderful getaway stay

Wanted to take a mini getaway trip from home for my birthday! It was an awesome experience, the place was cozy and we were provided with snacks and beverages! There are card games provided as well as movies. We used the grill to make some yummy food and were kept company by a friendly sweet kitty! It was definitely a plus seeing all the kitties roaming around especially the grey one! We would definitely book another stay.

Cozy stay

The place was exactly as pictured and even more cozy in person. It was very clean and Randy and Kelly were very helpful with directions if needed or what all is close by of eating, gas or whatever you needed. I’d recommend and would stay here again if I am ever going back.

Definitely stay here if you can!!!

A friend and I headed to Nashville for a concert and this place was just what we needed! Decor was perfection, the king bed was super comfortable and the owners were wonderful. The place is truly as comfortable, relaxing and welcoming as it looks. We were both able to log on and get some work done while we were there. The private hot tub was just what we needed at the end of those long days walking around Nashville!

Awesome Stay Near Nashville

We have been fortunate to have had mostly very good experiences with hosts, but NOBODY can beat Randy and Kelly. They were absolutely fantastic, and the snacks, drinks, and coffee were amazing. The property is immaculate, and the check in and out process was awesome. You need to be able to go up and down one flight of stairs, but as long as you’re able to do that I would recommend this place to anyone. It was absolutely first rate. We’d love to come back!

Primitive path

Only 25 minutes to downtown Nashville. So quiet and relaxing. The screened in porch is great for having morning coffee. Host was great. When we come back next year we will book again. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here

This was the perfect place for a weekend away. The check in process was quick and painless. The property was just as described, quiet and secluded. It was homey, with an array of welcoming snacks and drinks, and anything you could have possibly forgotten they had you covered!! Will definitely be booking again.

Sweetest Getaway for Two!

Such a thoughtful owner provided this well-decorated little haven for us. All furniture/ furnishings were very comfortable. I appreciated the check-in process & having the opportunity to ask questions. My husband loved it, too. We were sad that we didn’t take some time in the hot tub.

Perfect little weekens getaway

Book it! We actually don't live terribly far from the area but, my husband and I wanted to get away for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. This place was perfect. The owners are great and we were greeted upon arrival, shown everything, and then left to our stay. The space is adorable and has such a homey feel and almost takes you back in time. The owners have everything stocked if you need or want anything including some snacks and drinks if you want to indulge, and bath and body products in case you forgot your's or just want to try them out (great products). It was relaxing and just what we needed. Bed is comfy and the hot tub was a great addition. Highly recommend this for a weekend getaway or extended stay. It was perfect!

Quiet and quaint, Kelly and Randy have crafted a hideaway that's relaxing and restorative yet it's just 30 minutes from Nashville. We can't recommend it highly enough!

A vacation we will never forget

Our Stay at the Primitive Path Getaway was a wonderful experience. To start our Hosts were so welcoming and helpful during our stay. The home itself was decorated with antiques that help create a warm welcoming mood that felt like home. We also enjoyed the sunroom to sit and talk and enjoy the nature that surrounded the property. There is also a hot tub which we spent time in under the stars to finish off our days.Definitely recommend staying here and we will also be staying here again in the future.
