This home is even bigger and more amazing in person. Our large family had a wonderful time with so much room to gather or have alone time or smaller group hangs in multiple comfortable areas. The water feature was lovely. We stayed here for a GW commencement ceremonies, and it was an easy train or Uber into DC. Nancy's communication was great during the trip as well. An overall fabulous experience! We would love to come back for our next DC trip!

The property was beautiful and very welcoming. The neighborhood is peaceful and great for walking, and the location was idea for us being close to Bethesda and surrounding areas. The host was very attentive - Thank you! I'd highly recommend this property!

Great house in wonderful

This house was amazing! Tons of space, quiet location in wonderful neighborhood and a nice sized yard. We would definitely rent again!

Exactly as advertised. Hosts were communicative and honest (they gave a heads up about a couple of minor broken items). Best part: kitchen. If you want to cook your own meals this is the place. Issues: not really! Light switches were a bit confusing but that’s probably on me! Overall two thumbs up!

We stayed at Mark and Nancy’s home for our daughter’s wedding week. I cannot say enough great things about them as hosts, or this home. They were very accommodating and friendly to us, and their communication was great for our whole stay. Now, the house! You can’t really get it until you see it in person, but it is spectacular. The kitchen is perfectly appointed, with everything in the right place, and anything you could possibly need if you’re traveling with family. The house is huge, and has so many places to explore and enjoy, inside and out. The beds are comfortable, and the windows are everywhere. This gem is tucked into a lovely residential neighborhood, where you can tell everyone has pride in their homes, but it’s still close enough to be able to get to shops, restaurants, or the District. And now I’ve discovered Bethesda, which having previously lived nearby in NoVA, I didn’t realize was so cool! I have never felt so at home in someone else’s place. It was exactly what we were looking for, and I was so sad to leave. I hope we get to stay again sometime in the future!

Julie and her family were lovely guests and treated our home beautifully. We had a same day turnover and Julie nicely put in a load of wash for me to move things along quickly, which I really appreciated. We would be glad to host them again.

Fantastic home!

Such a beautiful home in a perfect location. Only 10-15 minutes to the Capital Mall and easy drive into Virginia. Home was extremely clean and big enough to offer plenty of space for everyone. I recommend this home to any family visiting the area.

Family Celebration!!

Our family had a wonderful visit! The property was clean, spacious, and a perfect location. We appreciated the beautiful architecture and scenery surrounding this home. The host was easy to communicate with and this home had everything we needed and more. We would highly recommend this location for your next getaway.

This home is beautiful in a quiet neighborhood, on a cul-d-sac. There are many levels to this home with a lot of stairs. We stayed 2 weeks with our son, his wife & 2 teenage daughters. We had a wonderful time experiencing DC & the surrounding areas. This home is in a great location to getting around. Nancy, the host will respond to any text messages within the hour. In the basement there is a ping pong table that our family enjoyed some of the evenings along with a piano that the girls played along with my husband. The outside patio is also very nice & we sat & visited one evening out there with a beautiful fountain & sculpture. We enjoyed the East Coast very much but the humidity was hard on all of us. I would recommend this lovely home to any family traveling to DC area.

Gorgeous stay near DC but in middle of nature

We loved being close to our daughter at AU and close to activities in DC but able to relax in this beautiful home and surrounding wooded hills.We were blessed by daffodils and other spring flowers and deer cam to visit in the yard each morning.So peaceful!Grateful!

Nature in the city

House was beautiful, location was great for us, amenities were top notch and more little things available than at any other vrbo we've stayed at before (ie spices, condiments, tupperware, etc), which I really appreciated! Communication was great and we would definitely stay again if in the area! We had an awesome time! Thanks!

Beautiful home!

The home was beautiful! Enjoyed the privacy with the beautiful trees on the property. Conveniently located to downtown Bethesda and a nice a neighborhood to walk. Very well stocked with everything needed plus more!!! Especially enjoyed the ping pong table!

Beautiful house in beautiful condition. Lots of space to spread out, lots of different spaces to get away from the rest of your family!

We always enjoy hosting families like Alex's during nearby American University graduation. Nine family members did a great job keeping the house tidy and following all the house rules. We appreciate their being great guests and would host them again.

Bethesda Beautp

This property was not only beautiful but just perfect for our family. Seven family members stayed, ages five months to 70 years old. There was something for everyone - great accommodations, plenty of room to spread out, lots of toys for the youngest, and all in a beautiful setting. We would highly recommend and would love to visit again. Many thanks to our gracious host, Nancy Gross.

Family Vacation

This property is absolutely gorgeous! It is perfect for a family vacation with lots of room and games to play! The house is architecture is stunning in the features are going today! Nancy was so kind and easy to work with and extremely easy to get a hold of! We would recommend this property to anyone going to the DC area.

Wonderful Retreat

Fantastic, well equipped home. Close - need car but easy - to all the major DC area attractions. But quiet and peaceful home and neighborhood. Owners communicated clearly and made the process a breeze.
