DOWNTOWN- LARGE 5BR, 3BA, 5 Fireplaces, French Doors, Large Balcony. Beautifully restored building. Very Romantic and Elegant Five Bedroom, Three Bath, Sleeps 10 people in beds, 1 to 2 on sofa, 12’ Ceilings, Five Fireplaces, Large Pocket Doors, Spacious, well-appointed Kitchen with Fireplace, that opens onto the Balcony , Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, lots of cabinets and drawers and everything else that you need in a kitchen, 8 large windows that open, CH&A, gas hot water. Living Room has French doors on each side of fireplace that open out to a large Balcony with ceiling fan. Enter apartment on first floor through huge foyer with 14’ ceilings, chandeliers and grand staircase. Antiques throughout. Cable HDTV and high speed wifi. Plenty of great restaurants, bakeries and bars are within only a few blocks. King Street is only a short walk. Walk to everything downtown. You will never want to leave!

What an excellent property for groups. Having 3 full baths was super convenient and the location was very walkable to the downtown scene. Highly recommend for your next group stay. Chris is an absolute pleasure and responds quickly to anything you need or recommendations around town.

Fantastic host, clean property and convenient location for a visit to Charleston. Christopher, your property host, is professional and communicative. He even helped with nearby overnight parking for our extra car which is a big deal in Charleston. The property is close to scores of great restaurants and King Street. The beds are comfortable and the property has everything you need for a relaxing visit. Do yourself a favor and give this property a try.

This property was great for our Bachelorette weekend. We loved that it was a 1890 historical home. The kitchen was well equipped and Chris makes sure you have plenty of supplies. He left 2 bags of ice in freezer and creamer for coffee in fridge. The neighborhood was very quiet. You can walk to town but, we used Ubers most of the time. Parking was good for 2 cars. If you message Chris he is very efficient to answer any questions. Had a wonderful stay! Julia Riley and 8 other ladies.

Everything was clean and organized. So nice to have a dedicated place to park. The host responded immediately to any questions we may have had. The kitchen was quite large and had a very nice porch if you chose to eat outside. Very nice stay

Host was great-great communication. The unit needs some repairs, but I shared those concerns with the host privately. I think the unit price should be lowered until repairs are made. However, when booking, this is more like a four bedroom than five. One of the rooms was very tiny and outside the “main” unit. It also lacked proper AC for anyone to stay in (warmest room in the unit).Host was very accommodating with parking which we were thankful for given that parking is a premium in the area.

Wedding weekend

Great place for family to gather during wedding events. Nice patio and kitchen area, walkable to all Charleston nightlife. Highly recommend!.

First time to Charleston

the unit was charming and comfortable. The porch was great for early morning coffee. We could walk to King Street easily and there are restaurants in the neighborhood. The host was friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend the house and location!

Such a large and beautiful property!

We stayed here for a bachelorette party and had such a lovely stay. We couldn’t believe how spacious and how many bathrooms there were. There was really everything you needed in the apartment. The deck was large and we had many great conversations there. The neighborhood was lovely and the host was so pleasant and quick to respond to my inquiries. Such a wonderful stay!

Girls Weekend

The property was perfect for a group of 9 people. The host Chris, was very accommodating and his response time was amazing. The coffee, cream and ice was a wonderful touch and appreciated. The porch was fantastic and the location was walking distance to King Street. We will definitely come back again.

Simple self check-in. Kitchen facilities were fantastic. Very interesting historic home. Air conditioning works great. Host very responsive to questions. I don't think the Listing mentioned that this was on the second floor but I could have missed it.

Great location and an amazing host and crew.

There should be a ranking above super host for the host of this property. Christopher and his staff took great care to foresee anything that could have derailed my family’s stay. The property was clean, very well supplied, and extremely comfortable. The 10 of us hope to return to Charleston and stay at the same location. WELL DONE!

Girl’s Week

The property was too far from King Street for us to walk. The ceiling fans are in desperate need of cleaning and better towels in the restrooms are needed. The bedrooms were clean and neat and very comfortable! Excellent host! Great parking, great kitchen, nice bookstore bar across the street.We totally enjoyed our stay here! Might rent this place again in the future!

Bachelorette Party

Perfect VRBO for a bachelorette weekend! We had 9 girls, and the space was great. The house had everything we needed; I even brought extra supplies that I never had to use. We loved having the space to do a game night and mixology class one evening, which made for a fun night in. The location was super convenient—walking distance to some spots on King Street and just a quick Uber ride to everything else. Would absolutely recommend for a girls' trip or any group getaway!

Bachelorette Weekend Success!

We booked this space for a Bachelorette Weekend for 5 women who all flew in to Charleston from across the country. The apartment was an absolutely perfect home base for our weekend: it was spacious, clean, cozy, and in an excellent location. Everything we wanted to do in Charleston was within a 10-15min taxi ride, but mostly stayed on foot as there were plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and sight-seeing within a 20min walk. Communication with the host was clear, prompt, and helpful, and checking in and out was a breeze. An excellent place to stay for a large group!

Ladies 60th in Charleston

We are 7 60 something women from NJ. The apartment suited ua perfectly. Having 3 bathrooms was great. We cooked a big breakfast one morning and the kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed hanging out on the porch off the kichen in the mornings and for happy hour in the evening. Not far from King Street and the bus line. Totally enjoyed our stay. Thanks, Chris!

Family wedding weekend

We stayed here for my son’s wedding weekend and the property was perfect for our group. The location was within walking distance to the venue and other events we had planned. There were more than enough bedrooms and bathrooms and the parking was an added convenience. The kitchen was well equipped and the covered porch was our favorite spot for morning coffee and unwinding in the evenings. The building was full of character and Chris was an exceptional host. He responded promptly and was very accommodating. We will most definitely stay here again!

Loved all the room in this house! We didn’t cook during this visit but it looked like everything we would need to cook a big meal was there. Parking at the house was a bonus. We spent a lot of time on the porch. It could use more comfortable seating out on the porch but it didn’t prohibit us from going out there. We walked to King Street many times but took an Uber to the area around the Battery and Yacht Club. If I had to pick a con, I’d say the bathrooms were small but it’s an old house so to be expected. There’s also only one tv and it’s small but we didn’t even turn it on once! Would definitely stay here again

Girl’s Weekend Trip 2024

We had a fun-filled girl’s weekend! We had 10 women!!! The location was awesome. We are a group of walkers and runners so the 2 mile walk in to town was an easy walk and great for sightseeing; lots of older homes to see. We never felt unsafe on our walk to town. The house is an older home so you have to have that mindset and prepare for unique accommodations a.k.a 1800’s home. We had everything we needed. The balcony was a favorite from the group. It was a nice gathering place to talk and have our dinners; great weather added to the experience.Chris was AWEOSME and easy to communicate. I would highly recommend a group stay. Directions for check-in and check-out was easy and off site parking for other cars was equally easy. Overall, the experience was great! Thank you. Chris
