Under the Banyan Trees - the most relaxing vacation ever!!

What a beautiful spot on the Gulf of Mexico known as Banyan Bluff - a small, secluded condo complex that you can't even see from the road. And what really makes it special is that it's you're close enough to shops, restaurants, golfing, etc. so that you don't feel isolated from the rest of the world.

You will not want for anything in this gulf front townhouse. It is a beautifully furnished, updated, end-unit with all the amenities to make your vacation perfect. The living room is comfortably and tastefully furnished, and includes a large flat-screen TV. From the large glass wall you can enjoy beautiful sunsets, or open up the sliding doors to the main floor deck with a patio set, and have your morning coffee or an evening meal. The entry level has a laundry room with a full-size washer & dryer.

Above is a well-stocked kitchen with updated appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave. Conveniently located next to the kitchen is the dining area. Also on this level are the two guest bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other with 2 twin beds, and a full bathroom with a shower.

The top floor level is reserved for the master suite - it includes a king-size bed, a flat-screen TV, a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination, walk-in closet, and a large balcony with a gorgeous view of the Gulf of Mexico.

Amenities are the free WiFi internet, cable TV and 2 new, large flat-screen TV's. There are 2 decks, one off the living room, and one off the master bedroom; each overlooks the peaceful, natural florida landscape and the Gulf of Mexico. These decks are angled providing privacy from each unit.

Outside is also a semi-private sundeck with access to the Gulf of Mexico. Take the stairs down to the beach and you can swim in the calm blue waters or look for sand dollars, all kinds of sea shell, and even fossilized shark's teeth. We hope you'll enjoy our condo as much as we do. (The sundeck is scheduled to have some construction work done later this year.)

excellent view!

We really enjoyed our stay. Though since we are advancing in years we really didn't think about the stairs at every level. We didn't let that ruin our time though. The kitchen was very well equipped, which we appreciated because we did eat several meals at home. Very quiet property and the view couldn't be beat! We did notice that the floor could have been cleaner and the carpeting on the stairs could use a cleaning. But we had a great time and it is a very nice property.

Banyon #1

Highly recommend (if you don’t mind stairs). Very spacious! Upstairs is all Master bedroom with its own full bathroom AND balcony overlooking the ocean. Speaking of ocean, we were pleased with the deck that was just steps (literally, down quite a few steps) from the water. If you’re into shelling this is the place to be. The rest of the Condo is fabulous. Sunken large living room, very well stocked roomy kitchen with attached dining room. Other two bedrooms share a rather small bathroom but we had no problems sharing. Loved the outdoor showers too. Be aware that the front yard is all shells so shoes are a must ( for us anyway) to get to the ocean deck. Also, be aware there are 4 Condo.s in the complex. The Ocean deck is very long but is shared by all 4 Condos. We had no problems sharing. The Condo is close to everything Manasota Key, Englewood, Venice has to offer. We did have some issues with the TV’s, a small water leak and a power outage but GulfReality quickly responded and we were happy with the quick fix. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back in a heartbeat. We mostly enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Condos location and of course the magnificent sunsets every night.

Hidden Gem

The location is amazing. Literally steps from the Gulf and amazing post card sunsets. Residence has a few minor things that could use updating but the overall experience was awesome. The location has a caribbean feel right on the water. Wildlife everywhere, dolphins swimming around us, sea turtle nests everywhere.

Amazing house

The house was amazing and slept my family of 6 very well we were not crowded (4 kids ages 6 to 12). The view from the house was awesome. We would definitely stay here again.

7 day stay at banyan bluff #1

The location was amazing! Couldnt get any better of a location or view!! The place was clean and provided everything you need for cooking, sleeping, extra blankets, and even water supplies and beach supplies. The only thing i hate to say is that the morning we left, a big cockroach came out and scared the beejeebus out of us. I know this can be a common occurance in florida and i left a note about it with the real estate when i returned the paper and keys hoping they can get pest control in there before it could get worse. Hopefully it was just a fluke occurance. Other than that, it was amazing and i cant complain about a single thing!

The perfect vacation

We've had our eye on Manasota Key for years but for one reason or another, just never made it down. We are officially in love. We wanted quiet, beautiful beaches, and a place for our family to relax and play. Manasota Key and Bayon Bluff exceeded every expectation. We saw dolphins, fish, collected hundreds of shark teeth, and gorgeous shells. What a dream! Pros: The house is just far enough outside of the main hub of town to have an isolated beach and just close enough to be at the local restaurants within minutes. Only steps to the beach (crucial when traveling with a toddler!), stocked with everything you could possibly need (kitchen, bath/beach towels, games, etc) and ample room for our family. We loved the porch and balcony, had plenty of beach toys to keep us entertained, and used the outdoor shower and hose multiple times a day. It was clear to us that this is a family's getaway and they were very generous sharing this home with us. Cons: Nothing extreme, but things to be aware of. There are a lot of stairs in this house so if those are an issue for you, be aware. The upstairs (master) bedroom gets HOT by lunchtime. The owner has provided a small air unit but it is older, loud, and inefficient by the end of the day. Communication with both the owner and Gulf Realty was incredibly easy and efficient. Included in our booking was a hefty discount with a local company that provides chairs and umbrellas. We loved this resource. We will return!

Location is ALMOST everything!

This place is wonderful! The beach is narrow but semi private and fabulous! The deck is incredible and both provide breathtaking sunsets. Our issue was with the cleanliness upon arrival and the lack of deferred maintenance on the property. All prior reviews indicate cleanliness was on point and it was not. There are also several problems starting with the upstairs balcony doors not locking at all and the portable, noisy, and not properly installed "AC" unit in the upstairs bedroom. However, we ignored the undesirable pieces and had a wonderful week. Please take care of your rental property, owners, this was our one family vacation together for the year and it could've been flawless. Deferred maintenance and cleaning are what make your properties stand out. We love this area and the weather couldn't have been better, so that was a bonus! Thanks!

Paradise

We enjoyed every single minute of our stay at Under the Banyan Trees! It was comfortable, spacious, and had absolutely everything we could need. It has a beautiful deck overlooking the Gulf where we enjoyed watching the unmatched sunsets, dolphins hunting large schools of fish, sea turtles, and even a shark caught by our neighbor while fishing. The beautiful walks on the beach included many turtle nesting sites, sharks teeth, sea bird watching, and of course, seashells! I will share that there is not a lot off beach due to erosion, but there are larger beaches very close by if that is what you are looking for. We would not change a thing! Thank you for a great anniversary vacation

Best Ocean Access

You can't get easier beach access than this townhouse. Unit interior beautiful with wood accents and walls of windows. Loved it.

Relaxing family vacation

My family and I enjoyed an amazing week on the beach here at Banyan Bluff #1. Our condo was nice and welcoming. The beach access was easy. And the beach was perfect! We got to see turtle tracks in the sand and the turtle rescue people escorting(standing by as protection) a few baby turtles to the ocean. A manatee swam past us in the water! Dolphins swam near one day! It was just overall very relaxing. We visited Mote Aquarium one day, which everyone enjoyed. And our favorite place that we ate at while we where visiting was Magnolia’s on the Bay. (We ate lunch here one day.) The food was way better than anything else we ate while we were there. The atmosphere was fun and our waitress was super nice. Thankful for all the memories made!

Paradise

This beautiful townhouse was perfect. The decor was so beachy and it felt like home. Everything was clean and comfortable. All the extras were provided including toilet paper , tissues, beach towels, dish detergent, laundry detergent, sunscreen, beach chairs and umbrellas. The views from both decks were amazing and the beach was quiet. Sunsets were spectacular. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this property. My daughter and I had a great vacation. Thanks to the owner for letting us stay in her fabulous home.

Great location

We were total of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids) and stayed for 10 days. Great location, stunning sunsets, the house was fully equipped with everything we needed. The interaction with the agency was very smooth.

nice break from staying sheltered at home

enjoyed our stay. Wish the light switches had been labeled. We couldn't turn on the light or fan in the main room - it ran on a remote which we didn't find until we were leaving. There was no room in the kitchen cabinets to put anything away. the place was clean and nice, the beach was great and not crowded. Asked us to start the towels in the laundry before we left, but there was no soap. No soap for the dishwasher so we had to buy some so as to start the cycle before we left.. couldn't use the tv's in the two bottom bedrooms, no remotes. Even with all this the place was nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Family Getaway

Great place and location. The kids swam with manatees and watched sea turtles lay eggs - all in front of the house. House was great - well stocked, decorated, and clean. Only downside is that you can no longer find shark teeth due to the rebuilt beach - the new beach is great, though.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Banyan bluff. The sunsets were amazing. There was no beach (high or low tide) while we were there but we did not have any problem with this, since we enjoyed walking more than sitting on the beaches. We appreciated the household items like dish washer pellets, laundry detergent, and garbage bags being available. Bug spray is a must to enjoy the outside portions of the property. We had 2 hiccups during our stay and both were addressed/ remedied ASAP. We loved the place and plan to return.

Amazing!!!

Amazing and breathtaking views!! The neighborhood is a great town and a lot to do or stay in depending on your preferences. The condo was fully stocked. There are upgrades made very nice kitchen and livingroom. Fit 5 of us with a lot of space for kids to separate for their own space and allowed us all to have family time. We did go in the water at low tide, the steps are very sturdy.

The condo was beautiful! The view was breath taking! The only two complaints I can make have nothing to do with the condo itself— 1. The crazy neighbor. It was hard to go outside and enjoy my family because she always approached us to talk for long periods of time. And since we shared a deck with her, it couldn’t really be avoided. 2. The beach erosion is worse than the pictures portrayed. Most days we had to drive to the public beach, which sort of defeats the purpose of a beach front property. The home is beautiful and I hope the beach restoration project works! I’d visit again if it worked!

Beautiful and peaceful!

We enjoyed our stay at Banyan Bluff very much. The condo was clean and equipped with anything you could need. Although there is a permanent resident next door and another unit was rented, we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Unfortunately, during our stay, Manasota Key was experiencing Red Tide, so we were not able to enjoy the beach for part of the week. The beach is not as pictured either, which was disappointing. There was no sand. The steps led straight down to the water. We made up for the lack of beach by floating on tubes and rafts. Overall our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable.

ENDLESS GULF VIEWS

Beautiful location that is hidden from road and private. Very comfortable accommodations. Well stocked kitchen and unit. AC stopped working and Gulf Realty got repair man out there quickly on a Sat. night. Only 2 problems - the beach is for all intents and purposes gone and the BBQ grill was disgusting and unusable.

Enjoyed our stay! Just wish there was a beach at the rental, the water was up on the rocks all time.

We enjoyed our stay , the house was very nice and we'll equipped with everything we needed. The view was great,we saw dauphins and manatee almost every day. If only there was a beach to walk out on from the rental . It was just a few miles in either direction to a nice beach.

Lovely House

My sister and her family rented the house next door, and we rented this three bedroom unit. This was a very comfortable rental, with plenty of space, tons of dishes and pots and pans to cook our Thanksgiving dinner. I did bring my own knives (most rentals have dull steel). The bed was very comfy (wanted to take it home). The view is just as pictured.

Little Paradise

We really enjoyed our stay here. The sound of the waves at night, the beautiful vistas from all of the decks, the birds and squirrels, and the semi-private beach accessible by a stair. It's really quiet and laid back and a great way to switch off and be on vacation. Also, the house is very nicely furnished, it has a wonderful homey touch to it and the kitchen is the best equipped kitchen we've ever seen in a rental place! Sunsets are amazing and on our last evening we even saw a school of dolphins pass by. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some peace and quiet and appreciating this direct access to the sea.

Paradise in Florida

Great location. Loved the view. Steps away from the ocean. The condo was very comfortable and clean. We loved being able to step out the back door and be right on the ocean on our own private beach (with only three other condos). We loved the group of palm trees in the back which provided shade and an interesting area to walk through to the beach. Sunsets were beautiful and viewable from the living room, master bedroom, or by just stepping out on the deck. It was nice having a covered parking space for two vehicles plus room for more for guests. The layout of the condo was very nice. Working with Gulf Realty was easy and they were very accommodating. We had no issues. We truly enjoyed staying here and would definitely come back. Thank you for sharing your condo with us.
