Enjoy a memorable vacation with your loved ones in this perfect vintage charmer at the unbeatable location of Sanders Beach. THE BEACH COTTAGE is a fully furnished, cozy, adorable 2 bedroom/2 bath home, steps to the beach/lake, and offers a spectacular beach and lake view. It has been recently remodeled and professionally designed with new furnishings, and everything you and your guests could want during your stay. The newly paved back patio has a fire pit chat seating area and a patio dining area as well. Whether you want to golf, swim, kayak, bike, hike Tubb's Hill, stroll downtown CdA, or just relax and take in all that beautiful CdA has to offer, this vacation rental perfectly meets those needs for any size party.

As you enter THE BEACH COTTAGE, you will feel the comfy coziness of the living room, which offers a smart HDTV and Wi-Fi throughout. The dining room to the left is welcoming with a complimentary coffee and wine bar. There is a BBQ area for outdoor entertaining in the backyard, and there is ample parking in the driveway and street. The basement has a queen size bed and a quaint twin-sized sleeping nook/hideaway underneath the stairwell, a favorite amongst kiddos! The basement has a separate living room area with another smart TV and a full bath. It is the perfect setup for extended families or two families traveling together as it allows bigger parties to be separate but together all under one roof.

Cozy and comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is amazing and beautiful and the house is quaint and inviting. Flo was very responsive and accommodating and we would recommend this spot for anyone looking doe some R&R.

Flo was a great host. Provided everything needed for check in.The house is cozy and quaint and very close to sanders beach. It has most all amenities you'd need aside from some specific cooking ingredients you may require.The basement area was great for our daughters and overall an good stay and graciously accommodated our 2 dogs which went very well.The house could use some minor repairs and the beds are very hard but other than that it was a good value and good location. We all had a nice time.

Peaceful retreat

A cute older house in a quiet neighborhood.. but also so close to downtown - Less than a 5 min. drive! Also took advantage of the little beach a block or two down the road. And a little over from that the entrance to Tubbs Hill for a nice hike! Kitchen was stocked with all the things making it very easy to cook at home. Lots of bed space. Didn’t run out of hot water in the mornings, even with 3 ladies showering. Flo was quick with communication. Would stay again!!

Can use some maintenance. We repaired the loose frig handle. Door knob to bath loose. Mirror on bathroom door needs securing. Highly suggest for safety to install hand railings leading up front steps off driveway. There were no extra blankets that we could find!ONLY plus, 2 blocks from beach!

Wonderful Property

From the moment we arrived Flo was very helpful and concerned with our comfort. This property is centrally located to the center of town which made it easy to make our way around. The beach is within walking distance and quite nice. We will be sure to book this property the next time we are in town.

Clean & cozy

I enjoyed my weekend in this cozy cottage. Clean and nicely decorated. Very comfortable bed. Great location near Sanders Beach, Tubbs Hill, shops on Sherman, and parks.

House By The Lake

This was a cute house about a block or two from the lake. It is also walking distance to the center. Communication with the property manager was excellent.

Great location to explore downtown and the water

We booked this location for our middle daughter's graduation trip. The house comfortably fit 6 of us and was in a great location. We walked almost everywhere, from the private beach a block away to local restaurants in each direction. Check in was convenient, the house was clean and we were grateful for the shampoo and conditioner provided because i forgot to pack mine. Overall, great place to stay.

We’d Stay Again!

The house was a in a great location, in a very walkable neighborhood with little traffic. Very accessible to the lake and Tubbs Hill trailhead. We enjoyed the two separate living rooms and the kids enjoyed hanging out downstairs. House had everything we needed and we encountered no issues. Very clean. Thank you!

The property location is perfect. Flo is very responsive as a property manager. The property itself needs more preparation for guests. We didnt find welcome information to help us enjoy the amenities. Recent remodel/repair work is not complete. I would advise the property owner to spend a few typical vacation days on the property. The main shower was really a mess, despite a recent upgrade. The quality of the workmanship was lacking. The place was tidy but not clean, The clothes dryer was filthy. I really wanted to enjot this place given the location but the property itself just needs more work

Perfect location! 2 short blocks to public beach. Close to everything-a simple bike ride gets you everywhere. The property owner Flo was wonderful and super responsive to questions . The cottage is well equipped for everything we needed and more for our weeks stay! Would definitely like to return!!!

Cozy cottage with great backyard dining!

Lovely home, everything was available that we needed. Easy check in process! The home is so close to the lake! We were able to easily drive to the resort, go for a hike or walk to a park nearby. Quick communication and wonderful location! Also, we used the back patio every night to eat and relax. Appreciated the seating options in the back with our big family!

Annual CDA Family Vacation

Flo was great and her communication was spot on. The location is excellent. Two blocks to the lake and easy bike ride downtown. The house is just OK. The main bed upstairs is small and not very comfortable. The bedding and furnishings are more resemblance to a Motel 6. If you’re OK with that, you will enjoy your stay. If you have expectations of comfort and nice linens, you should beware that’s not going to happen.

Excellent location! Loved the 2 bikes, back yard and super grateful for linens, shower and coffee supplies. Home, appliances and furniture are dated but functional. Would have given 5 across the board but keycode didn’t work at our late night arrival time. Contacted owner via text and phone call and she promptly replied and situation was resolved. Still highly recommend!

end of summer treat

Pictures showed location to be by other Sanders beach. I did not realize that "lakeside" did not mean in front of lake. Basement smelled like mold. Could not get gas fire ring to work for smores. Owner was helpful to get into home.

Very clean house. Very quiet and nice and clean area.

Overall it is great. Kurig is great. Improvements could be: Bedroom window needs more than a sheer curtain on it. Couch is hard and uncomfortable. Need wine glasses and corkscrew.

Golf weekend

Nice weather . Enjoyed sitting outside- front and back! Liked the house and its location. The hedge along the driveway could use a trimming-scratched the car. Only used coffee cups and two glasses. Spent very little time at the house as we were at the tournament at the golf course.

We loved this property upon first drive to the viewing. Coming down 12th St and seeing the lake view from outside the house sold us. The proximity to Sanders Beach, a popular destination for us, our family, and our friends, can't be beat. The inside of the house is small but cozy and makes for the perfect beach cottage. Don't need much with this house, with all its charm and local splendidness!
