The views and location of the property were wonderful! We enjoyed the amazing beach nearby and the pool in the complex. Overall, the house was clean and pretty well stocked for cooking. It worked out very well for our family of six! Only downfall was the communication with the host was a bit delayed.

Great view and very quiet and peaceful. Easy access with elevator.Definitely need new dining chairs for table! Would be great to have seating on lower deck other than hammock.Overall very good.

The house was beautiful but dirty. When I reached out to the owner about bodily fluids being on bedding, bugs on the carpet, and trash cans being knocked over and overflowing, the owner simply focused on the concern with the trash cans and states the storm must have knocked them down. I supplied them pictures of my concerns but they were not addressed. I will not stay here again, which is a shame because the house is beautiful and I liked the location. It just needs better housekeeping and a responsive owner.

Amazing view from this unit. We were able to bring our boat and enjoy the waterway. House was very clean and perfect for a quick getaway. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice house in a great location.

Great location with a wonderful view of the sound. Having access to a pool is a good perk when we wanted a break from the beach. Overall we had a fantastic time.

Family vacation

Our family had a wonderful stay. The town is quiet and family friendly. We loved waking up to the bay and watching dolphins. There were kids staying in neighboring homes which kept my kids busy too! Definitely recommend and will visit again.

Lovely home in Topsail

Beautiful, well appointed home in Topsail. Easy beach access and lovely sound views. Owners were lovely to work with as well. We hope to come back!

Topsail delight

Wonderful, probably the best house we've stayed at over the years, location was awesome, the pool was great and the beach was an easy walk across the street and never crowded, the sunset's were better than described and we saw dolphins and stingrays every day out our back door.. can't wait to come back 👍

Snowbirds in NC

Excellent property. Quiet neighborhood. Great location, just a short drive to the tourist area but far enough where the beach was never busy. Fully stocked house and great communication with owners. Would definitely return!

Wonderful Views and Perfect for Large Families

We rented both connected townhouses for 2 families of 4 and 1 grandparent. Very clean property with all the amenities. Owners were very responsive to a couple of minor issues. Highly recommend!

Another great week

Third year at "How Sweet the Sound" and it was the best yet. Lots of water time via kayaks and wading in the ocean not to mention all the fishing as there are great charters to consider as well as water tours. Great restaurants including the new one we found Splash by the Sea. Being directly water (Sound) front makes even lazy time magnificent.
