Tuck yourself away in the beauty of Bay Creek - a gated community. This spacious and charming, three-bedroom, 2.5 bath carriage house is located in the quiet village of New Quarter.The community has a private beach and pools. The golf course is private.

It has been furnished with everything you need to feel right at home, including a fully-equipped eat-in kitchen, vaulted ceilings, jacuzzi tub, washer and dryer, sunroom, semi-private patio, and professionally landscaped yard. There is plenty of room for friends and family with ample space for eight people.

Tennis courts and outdoor junior Olympic community pool and kids pool is within a five-minute walk or ride the one mile to the beautiful sand beach on the Chesapeake Bay. The tennis courts are fenced and available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Visit the Cape Charles Coffee House and shops on Mason Street and at the Marina. Biking, kayaking, and paddle boats (rentals available at the marina). The town has a 200-foot fishing pier for fishing, crabbing, or watching the world's most beautiful sunsets.

Two new attractions in Cape Charles include brewery and Cape Charles Distillery. The Irish Pub is a favorite spot for sipping your favorite ale or eating fish and chips. Join the locals on Monday night for a friendly game of darts. The Brown Dog Ice Cream shop serves home made ice cream all summer.

Travel up Route 13 to Onancock and take the Ferry to Tangier Island.Visit the National Wildlife Refuge in Chincoteaque and see the wild ponies. Other activities include harbor parties, decoy carving events, craft fairs, and pony penning. kayaking, ecotours and local events.

Take a 30-minute drive across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel and enjoy such attractions as the Virginia Beach Boardwalk and oceanfront, golfing, the Marine Science Museum, MacArthur Mall, the Chrysler Museum, Nauticus Maritime Center, Harbor Park, and Waterside. Busch Gardens or Colonial Williamsburg are wonderful day trips from the shore.

Bay Creek resort has a restaurant and a marina.

Our home is pet free property for you to enjoy without fear of allegens. There are no exceptions to the no pet and no smoking policy.

Great place!

The house is very large and updated. It had everything we needed. The community private beach is great. We had a great time in Cape Charles and would definitely would stay here again.

Cape Charles Vacation Home

We had a wonderful time at the house in Cape Charles. It was in a beautiful community with a pool we swam in, and the house itself was clean, spacious, had many kitchen appliances, and a washer and dryer. We would stay there again!

Great Stay in Cape Charles

Great location and property in Cape Charles. Lawrence was very responsive with a few questions and his place was great with everything you need. The one bedroom upstairs without a fan can get pretty warm compared to the house, but other than that it was perfect. We even rented a golf cart for the week and they were able to deliver and pick it up right at the house.

Great Rental

Had a wonderful time in Cape Charles with this rental! Downtown is a quick golf cart ride away and staying in Bay Creek was a wonderful experience! Host was very attentive and communicative ahead of arrival. Clean and lovely home.

We had close friends visiting us from Florida and they stayed at this lovely property. It was absolutely perfect...they were delighted with it as were we! Easy check-in, great communication with owner and a comfortable, large home! Would definitely rent again!

House was very nice. Would call it "family comfortable". Host provided many amenities. Pre-stay communication with host was excellent. Grounds, private beach and pool were great. Would recommend this property for vacationing.

Perfect Family Getaway

My husband, kids and I stayed in this beautiful home in July 2011. We loved it so much - chalked it up there as one of our favorite family vacations. We want to come back homeopfully this year. The home had everything you could imagine. Complete comfort and Baycreek's ameneties were perfect. Love Cape Charles!

Preferred place in Cape Charles

We have stayed in Cape Charles often and this is our favorite place so far!! The pictures do not do this place justice- it is so nice!!! Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. We did a puzzle on the big dining room table, worked remotely from the sunroom, and read a book on the back patio. Lawrence is an excellent host and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved this clean, roomy, well stocked beautifully decorated home. Would definitely rent again. Community is close to everything. Use a golf cart- so convenient. The community pool is wonderful!

Family Thanksgiving Stay

I have rented the Saratoga Charmer over several years. Lawrence’s home is warm and full of love. My family and I love its simplicity and beauty. It is open and just elegant. It is also spacious, comfortable and practical allowing for everything you need. I have recommended it to others. We hope to rent it again sometime in the near future. Greta

A great place to gather with family for rest and relaxation.

Saratoga Charmer is a wonderful, spacious townhouse to spend a quiet, relaxing vacation. The kitchen was well equipped. Everyone loved the sun room for morning coffee and board games with kids. Patio was nice too but couldn't use because of the heat wave. Beach was quiet and refreshing. Grandkids had a ball and didn't want to leave. Cape Charles will be our go to beach destination when you want to avoid the crowds.

Expansive Two Level Townhome in Bay Creek

Very nice townhome in quiet neighborhood of Bay Creek. Nice access to a private beach on the Bay side Terrific golf course and more. Only drawback was that the pools close at Labor Say despite the great weather in September. That should be noted in the narrative. I expected the pools to be open at least till the 1st week in October.

Fantastic

The house was very clean and very spacious. We really large kitchen and the sun room in the back. The only minor issue was that the AC in one of the upstairs bedrooms wasn't able to keep up with the heat outside (it was a very hot week). Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed the house and Cape Charles.

Pleasant Stay with Questionable Ending

Our stay at this spacious, well-equipped home was comfortable and quiet. Beach exceptional. The mattresses were largely unusually hard. The front door older digital locked failed while we were there. This was communicated to the owner who stated the neighborhood was safe and that the lock failure was an issue the prior week as well. We had to prop a chair under the front door handle to safeguard our belongings and protect their home. Additionally, we could not go to a planned nice dinner out during our last evening because of this issue and the owner’s inability to correct the issue. Little concern for this was extended, and I feel like a day’s refund should have been offered.

Lovely Home, Nosey Neighbors!!

Very lovely home and community, but after staying in this community for three years in a different house, this couldn’t compare. We felt like we were being watched by a neighbor or neighbors. First, we knew we couldn’t have our dog with us, so we had him boarded 20 minutes away, but wanted to have him with us at the beach some times during the day. Stopped at the house briefly (he was in the yard only) and one neighbor must’ve spotted him in the yard and reported to the owner and we were charged an extra $500! Upon talking to the owner, we got that straightened out when I told him our dog was being boarded. Another time we simply wanted to move our vehicles around, as the limit is three vehicles, with one fitting in the garage and two in the driveway. While shifting our vehicles around, we parked one vehicle in the neighbors driveway for a few minutes. Well, we again were told about that and explained the situation. And finally, we were accused of having a golf cart and canoe in the yard, when in fact, we don’t own one! We felt like we were being constantly watched and harassed, which put a damper on our vacation for sure. We were only there a week and to have to deal with this! Otherwise, we love Cape Charles.

Great getaway

Our stay was excellent at this Cape Charles Bay Creek property. We were minutes from downtown, a pool, beaches, and golf. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. Thanks again for hosting us!

Perfect for families!

This rental provided my family with everything we could have needed for a great getaway! The proximity to the pool and private beach were ideal! My kids loved being able to go between the two with ease! The amount of beds, TVs and space allowed for everyone to also have their own space when needed! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
