Highly rated one-bedroom Gatlinburg cabin that sits atop Ski Mountain next to Ober Gatlinburg. One of two cabins at Ski Mountain. Book the neighboring cabin for a large family or friends getaway (each is private and about 100 yds apart).

This one bedroom cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway or a small family vacation. The master bedroom includes a Jacuzzi tub, king-size bed, large TV with cable, and internet. There is a full bath with shower and half bath available.

The fully stocked kitchen includes granite countertops and standard appliances. The family room includes a leather sofa bed and chair facing a beautiful stone wood burning fireplace with a large TV. A sofa bed can accommodate additional guests. A washer and dryer are also provided for your convenience.

Relax on the back deck for bear watching, the lights of Gatlinburg, and the visits of birds, squirrels, and other animals. A hot tub is provided on the back deck for a relaxing night.

The cabin is located on top of Chalet Village on Ski Mountain through steep and windy roads you will find yourself perched on top of a beautiful view. An AWD or 4x4 vehicle will be highly suggested in the colder months as snow can be frequent during these times.It features mountain views and a private setting but is only 3.7 miles from downtown Gatlinburg. The location also features easy access to Pigeon Forge for trips to Dollywood and dinner shows.

Access to the seasonal clubhouse of Chalet Village features multiple swimming pools, tennis courts, shuffleboard, a full workout room, a game room, and much more.

Your pets are welcome to our cabin for an extra $75 fee. Please add this to your reservation to avoid withdrawal from your deposit after you check out.

The cabin is located on top of Chalet Village on Ski Mountain. It features mountain views and a private setting and is only 3.7 miles from Gatlinburg. The location also features easy access to Pigeon Forge for trips to Dollywood and dinner shows.

M A R A V I LL O S O !!

Es un rincón cerca del cielo! Quedamos impresionados al llegar y mirar que supero nuestras expectativas, un lugar limpio, acogedor que nos hizo sentir en nuestra propia casa. La cabaña cuenta con todo lo indispensable para estar cómodo , lo que prometen en el anuncio es poco comparado con la realidad. La vista espectacular desde el balcón , el amanecer y atardecer , el silencio de la montaña es lo que fuimos a buscar y lo encontramos en Heaven’s gate #2. Tuvimos la oportunidad de mirar 7 osos en general a la puerta de la cabaña y bajo el balcón ; por un descuido mío no cerré el vidrio del carro y un oso se paseo dentro, dejo huellas tierra y pasto y lo mas increíble es que yo deje un trozo de beef jerky y no lo toco , tampoco movió NADA, solo dejo unos rasguños en la pintura de la puerta del carro. Al llegar fue gran impresión por las curvas y pendientes , pero la belleza del paisaje increíble, ademas el pueblo de Gatlinburg esta abajo a solo 10 min. Over Gatlinburg esta a solo 8 min. Bajo la cabaña, en general todos los lugares son cercanos y bellos. La recomendamos ampliamente!

It was a very nice place to stay. There was a small gap in the trees that offered a great view of the mountains. The only thing i didn't like was the 11 hour drive to get there, but it was definitely worth it. Overall a great place to stay close to some awesome hiking trails on the smoky mountains.

The cabin was clean. Getting in to it was difficult, instructions I printed off were outdated and not accurate. Once contact was made, it was an easy process. But after a 10 hour drive, it didn’t set the mood very well. The unloading process was the first meeting with a bear . The main reason I chose in a cabin is the view and this place fell far short. Everything else was very accommodating. The cabin is far from filled with cleaning supplies so 85 later we were okay. The vacuum cleaner was usless and we did the best we could to clean after the dogs. I personally won’t stay here again. If the trees were cleared, it would be perfect. The location is fine and the roads are what you would expect. I packed up a day early because I’d had enough of feeling trapped. Lots of bears which is fun, but you have to watch yourself and dogs or kids. Sorry, just a bad combination of things made my stay disappointing

Property was ideally located for us as we planned on hiking daily and was just a short drive to the mountains. On our way up to the cabin we even got to watch a bear and her 3 cubs!!Kitchen was stocked and meet our meal prepping needs. Hot tub was our favorite as it was a great way to relax after hiking and touring Gatlinburg.

Beautiful cabin, had all the comforts of home, very private. The only exception was the obscured view, due to trees, but that also gave the deck more privacy. The driveway and the road are slightly scary for someone like us, who aren't used to mountain roads, but, again, totally worth it!! Also, it was a GREAT price!!

Beautiful accommodations, fantastic communication. Clean and well kept! Enjoyed seeing some bears! No incidents at all however they did leave great advice on how to deal with bears for those unfamiliar with an encounter. Great all around stay! Highly recommend to anyone looking to escape the city life for a bit!

Cabin was clean and cozy. Bed was extremely comfortable. Saw lots of bears! Hot tub was clean and relaxing. Good mountain views. Good pizza place down the street. Ski Mountain pizza delivers. Would definitely stay again!

This was our second visit to the cabin, it was beautiful, the cabin is perfectly appointed. The drive is a little sketchy, but once you're there, it's wonderful. Definitely need four wheel drive.

Great stay. Door latch does not work. On the second an approximate 250lb bear came up to the door. Had the bear pushed hard on the door it would have been in the cabin. The cabin needs a better front door or latch that works.

This was the perfect spot for a private getaway! We enjoyed the cabin and also seeing bears on the way up the mountain (close to the cabin) each day — and one night it was a bear and 2 tiny adorable cubs. The host was also incredibly responsive and kind. We will be back!

It was very nice and was equipped with everything we needed. The only complaint we had was we got bites when we slept in the bed. We reported it so i hope that was taken care of after we left

While calling Atlanta home for many years, we decided to move and invest in the great state of Tennessee. We look forward to retiring in the Great Smokey Mountains. We started our first enterprise in Pigeon Forge in 2012 with our cabin "Pampered Camper". Unfortunately it was completely destroyed in the fire of November 2016. With great love and belief in the area, we have reinvested in 2 adjoining cabin homes located in Chalet Village in Gatlinburg. Renovations have just been completed and we look forward to many great years in this area.

Our goal is to give every guest a wonderful vacation and will do anything in our power to make your stay at our homes memorable. Located on top of Ski Mountain right next to Ober Gatlinburg, the views are breath taking, the privacy will be memorable, and hopefully you can catch a glimpse of the mother and Bear Cubs that have taken home to the area. Just down the mountain, you can go from a private getaway to the world of things to do in both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
