Perfectly located for all the outdoor fun and activities that Lake Tahoe is known for, including a community outdoor pool and communal spa arena (in addition to the unit’s private spa) and mountain biking and hiking trails for avid outdoors adventurists and family alike. Lovely Stay!

The private hot tub is incredible. Such a treat after a long day of skiing! Place is super cute. We came as a couple but would bring our kids next time! Don’t let the stairs stop you. Totally worth it!

Fantastic Stay in Cozy Treehouse Like Condo

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo in Heavenly! It truly felt like a cozy treehouse, nestled among the trees with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The space had everything we needed for our ski vacation, making it a perfect home away from home. The kitchen was well-stocked, the living area was comfortable, and the overall ambiance was just what we were looking for.The stairs are definitely a workout, but they weren’t an issue for us—they just added to the adventure! If you're looking for a charming, well-equipped spot close to the slopes, this is it. We’d definitely stay here again!

Ski Trip

The place was great for my trip. Just two of us in the place so plenty of room. Hot tub was hot and worked as it should. Lots of steps from the where you park the car, so if you are elderly or really out of shape it could be an issue. Close to the ski lift. Quiet and building sits by itself so you get the mountain vibe. Place is great for a smaller ski group.

Great Place

We had a great time here in Lake Tahoe. This place was perfect for us and walking distance to the Stagecoach lift which made it very convenient for skiing. We would definitely stay here again!!

Family Weekend at Heavenly

The condo was perfect for 3 adults. Very cozy and clean. Excellent location. Hot tub for the win! Hosts were great and fast to communicate when needed. Great place for a ski or summer vacation!

Amazing location, place and owner

Convenient to two heavenly locations - walk to one, short drive to other. Place felt like a warm welcoming ski lodge home with a lot of nice touches and decor to accent the place. Awesome windows to watch snow fall. Owner was very supportive, helpful and communicative! We would stay here again!

Fun time in Tahoe

We had a great time in Tahoe. The condo was beautiful and my kids loved the hot tub and having their own room. There were a lot of steps to get to the condo, and it took a little while to get to the lake, but the price was fair and the weather was perfect. Thanks for a great trip.

One Drawback

Everything about the actual property was great. Nicely decorated, comfortable seating and a complete kitchen. It was just getting to the property was the problem. From the parking area to getting to the main living required 88 stair steps. At almost 8000 ft elevation and the 3 people staying there being 75, 80 and 81it was quite the workout for us. Perfect except for that!

Lovely getaway!

We were unfortunate to visit when there was no snow - but we were a short walk from Stagecoach lodge and lift. Would've been perfect! Instead, we got to hang out in a great cabin that was large enough for the three of us to not feel cramped. Solid kitchen with great cooking essentials (regular pans, not abused teflon!), lovely fireplace, some board games, and comfortable seating. Lovely hosts!

I loved the property

Inaccurate on the ski in and ski out. There was a walk to the lift uphill on the street. TV service was poor with weak WiFi. If this doesn’t bother you a perfect place to stay. The whirlpool really made it enjoyable.

Amazing Condo at Heavenly

We stayed during a VERY snowy week and had a fantastic time. The condo was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. We felt very much at home there. The hot tub was awesome, views were so beautiful we didn't watch TV, just looked out the picture window. It is a bit of a hike up the stairs, but Jose cleared the steps for us every morning. He's great. The Stagecoach lodge stored our skis which made the stair climb much less of an issue. Just be nice and tip the folks in the ski shop. Would stay here again for sure!

Friendsgiving Get Away

House was great, perfect for two couples. Clean and well stocked. It was the easiest check out list I have ever had at a vacation rental!! If you prefer a lot of privacy this may not be the place for you as the upstairs bedroom is open to the main living area with just a blind to close for privacy. Heat was hard to keep at comfortable temp between upstairs and down. We just layered up so we could adjust as needed. And the stairs up are no joke with luggage, pack small bags ;) All that being said, we would absolutely stay here again.

Property owner was not responsive and we could not check in the first night.

After a long drive we were looking forward to checking in and getting some sleep. When we arrived the code did not work and when we contacted the property owner they did not answer. If it was not for Vrbo support we would have needed to sleep in our car. We were able to book a hotel that was covered by Vrbo. Granted the property owner was apologetic afterwards. The property itself was fine.

Great Condo!

Unit inside is updated. We’ll appointed, super clean and comfortable! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, 10 mins to So. Tahoe, Clyde’s Coffee House is just down the road in your way, highly recommend for fresh made pastries and bagels, plus other breakfasts. Condo sits in a lovely wooded area right by Stagecoach lift. Outside in need of repairs, but unit next door was getting refaced, did not take away from the gorgeous interior. Stairs are dicey, and plentiful, my friend had a huge suitcase to lug up. Overall I would highly recommend for any season, I’m sure for snow it’s amazing having the slope access!

Stagecoach Condo 83 Stairs

Place was great . Short up hill walk to the Stagecoach lift and lodge. It snowed every day . There are 83 stairs outside to go up . If your going for a week, and are not in shape think again because they don’t get shoveled first thing , also if you have a car you have to dig it out yourself! Another set of 25 stairs inside to get to the master bed. Great showers and TV . Very nice living areas with gas fire place loved this after day out on the slopes . Very very pretty view of all the snow and trees . Very cozy and away from any town .

Tahoe Village

We had a very nice stay here during our ski trip. It had everything we needed. The overall condition of the condo clean but probably could use a little upgrading. Loved being able to walk just a couple of minutes to the Stagecoach lift. Very quiet and private location. Our only disappointment was not being able to adjust the temperature on the hot tub. We did not realize the instructions for the raising the temperature on the hot tub had a very specific button sequence. If it is not followed correctly it will cause the temperature mode to revert to cool. So we never got a chance to use it after a long day of skiing! Despite that mishap we will definitely considers staying here again. The host was very helpful and responsive to our questions.

Primary attraction not delivered

The property overall was nice. The stairs are no joke. There were some minor things like the chair cushions weren't all firmly attached and the kitchen is tight. But overall everything was fairly well appointed aside from the fact that the hot tub was broken before we got there. This fact was not made clear to us initially and the repair part was unavailable for the duration of our stay. There are many properties available near the slopes but the primary reason we chose this one was for the private hot tub. This significantly reduced the value of the property and despite being responding about the issue, I would have preferred knowing about it up front when the repair man was there on our check in day instead of 2 days later. I also had to request information every time instead of being told it. There were several ants seen in the property in the bathroom, on the ceiling, and one in the bed.

Snow!

The hosts were great, as we had some minor issues arise during our stay, Sara was very quick to respond and handled every issue immediately. The location is a very short walk from the Stagecoach lift, great access to the lift and lodge location. As I read previous reviews we were prepared for "the stairs", the stairs are not that bad, but when you add a crazy amount of snow, then the challenge begins. There are two areas on the stairs, about 6 feet each with no hand railing, and we slid and fell in those areas due to ice on the steps - this is most likely the HOA responsibility and not the hosts, so be aware with icy stair conditions, in addition if the "stair shovelers" aren't around, be prepared to shovel them yourself, as we did. When the conditions are great be prepared to navigate for your parking space as they are taken up by others enjoying the mountain, even though it is permit parking. We called the enforcement division to clear our parking area so we had a place to park, their response was to call a tow truck at our expense. The only other item I see needs a bit of improving is the cleanliness of the condo mostly in the kitchen, pots/pans/plates were put away with food burnt and stuck on, refrigerator/freezer not cleaned and had rotting food.

A couple finishing touches would make it 5 star

We stayed a week in January for a ski trip with our 2 daughters. It is located by the Stagecoach lift all the way up the mountain. It takes about 15 minutes to drive down and get into the main town and you MUST have a 4 wheel vehicle for winter to drive the terrain and mountain roads.Yes, there are a lot of stairs to get to the front door but it's very manageable. The kitchen has everything to cook and eat in, but it could really use a pizza pan. The hot tub struggles to stay heated when the cover is off and immediately plummets to 100 from 104 once you get in. The downstairs bathroom could use a refresh with its shower head and the mattress in that bedroom was quite bouncy. If one person moved, the other felt it. The upstairs bedroom is open to the downstairs and really should be filled in. The blind is fine for privacy, but it doesn't provide much as a sound barrier. The upstairs mattress is very comfortable and there is a lot of storage for clothes and gear. The couches are comfy but are starting to look a little tired and warn in a couple places. It could use a couple square ottoman stools for putting feet up or drinks on. There are no window coverings on the 1st level so it feels a little like living in a fishbowl at night, even if there aren't neighbors close by. The condo is a great for it's proximity to Stagecoach and staying on the mountain.

Great location, poor service

Our flight arrived in Reno at 11pm during a snowstorm. It took a couple of hours to drive to the Condo. When we arrived the parking spaces were snowed in and the steps to the Condo were not visible making them nearly impossible to navigate. Upon entering the Condo was the realization that it had NOT been cleaned from the previous renters. Exhausted from our flight and our travel through the snow we began to launder the sheets. There was NO toilet paper (not 1 square). Not knowing what else to do i sent an email to the owner. We woke the next morning exhausted. The cleaning lady arrived. We should have been skiing with all that beautiful snow. The hot tub was dirty, there were no chemicals, and it took 3 days for a spa service. He had to empty the tub and refill. The owner was very nice and did refund some money but that does not make it all better or ok. The excuse of the amount of snow and our ability to arrive being a surprise is a poor excuse. I feel like property owners have alot of insurances backing them up, and the renters none.

Good size home and decent location, very comfortable beds but too many steps and was not clean

The size of the home was great for my husband and I and would have been large enough for 4. The beds were extremely comfortable and we liked having the full functional kitchen and full size refrigerator. However, there were several issues: 1) We were not aware there would be 87 steps just to get to the front door. If we had been traveling with my father, we would not have been able to stay. Once inside the home there were additional (4-6) steps to get to the main floor and then if you were in the master bedroom, another 12-14 steps to get to the top floor. 2) There was not air conditioning so it was very hot due to all the large windows. There was one ceiling fan in the living area and one box fan available. 3) Some simple necessities were not available such as hand soap, paper towels, dish clothes/towels, dishwasher detergent 4) The master bath sink leaked (the owner did have someone come and fix this) 5) There was mold on the ceiling in the downstairs bath 6) The place was not clean. It was very dusty, the shower glass doors were dirty, the toilets had not been cleaned, the floors had not been mopped. 7) The jets on the hot tub were not strong The owner did contact us as she admittedly said she was having issue with her cleaning crew and called to see how the house was when we arrived.
