The views from this Gulf front 4th floor Condo at Gulf Winds 404 are truly amazing.

The main level includes the living room, dining area, kitchen, bedroom with king bed and bathroom. The spacious loft-style master bedroom offers a king bed and private bath. The staircase to the master loft is a tight spiral staircase. Enjoy the amazing Gulf views from the private balcony. Washer and dryer is located off of the living area for guest convenience. Fully-equipped kitchen offers both a Keurig and a Mr. Coffee coffemaker.

There is assigned garage parking under the building for one vehicle and lot parking for an additional vehicle. Gulf Winds offers a community swimming pool for guest enjoyment.

Beautiful Views!

Great stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time! Easy to access- love the keyless entry. The place was pretty clean (except for some dust under and behind beds, etc. but I let them know and they were on it) and well stocked (there wasn’t a cutting board but upon request a new one was delivered asap). I would for sure stay here again. The kids loved the upstairs area. I loved that we had a covered dedicated spot and could store our sandy gear down in the parking garage. I also loved how quiet it was- no one above us and the breezeway had zero traffic. The air worked great, plenty of hot water, refrigerator made great ice. The building is obviously older but some of the wear and tear didn’t bother us, ie the dishwasher had to be closed just so to latch. We cautioned our kids to stay away from the upstairs banister because it did not seem sturdy but it’s so big up there it wasn’t a problem. Only other small complaint is the master bed made noise with every small toss and turn but it wasn’t uncomfortable, just noisy. One recommendation would be more hooks in the bathrooms for all of the wet towels and swim suits. Plenty of storage and everything we needed. I also loved that the porch is covered so that you can sit out and have shade. I do like renting with Paradise Beach homes because you get to communicate with real people just down the road. We hardly left but there is a great bike/walking trail and you can get to a convenience store and restaurant or two within a short walk.

We love this location. Have stayed in this building before just on lower floor. Adored the condo and loved the view. Excellent view of the sunrise and the sunset.

Cozy well appointed beach front condo

This is our 2nd stay at this place the upgrade to the bathroom is fantastic. Looks great. This place is perfect for our family of 3. We love the location. We did see 3 roaches this time in the unit and wanted to let you all know. Also the hairdryer in the downstairs bathroom wouldnt work. Easy fixes hope to return soon!

I expected better for the price

Although the owner went out of their way to send over an electric grill.. the rental company could maintain it SO MUCH BETTER. They addressed our concerns about cleanliness and then said they would schedule something the next day..and never contacted me back. Dust. Dirt. Pet hair. Sand. Dirty dishes. EVERYWHERE. The place smells of mold/mildew the second you walk in.. also addressed this and it didn’t seem like much of a concern. The property could definitely have been better maintained much better. Repair scuffs, holes and such on the walls, even pay a little attention to the detail on the floor finish and it’d be much nicer. People are paying $$$$ for a few days, the least they could do is make sure it was in top $$$$ shape. Loose tiles, having to fix the bed so we could sleep on it and so many other little things, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else in the future without knowing that it was better maintained. Beautiful location and easy beach access with the nice pool but it takes more care than that.

Best spot but many repairs needed

This is the best spot because you are so close to the beach. This is a small complex and so not too crowded. The downside is that the short walk to the beach was doubled because the gate was broken so you had to go the long way to the beach from the other side of the complex. The gate needs to be replaced. It never worked the entire time we were there. The floors need to be cleaned. Feet are black from dirt after walking around. The upstairs bathroom had no shower curtain?? The patio door is very difficult to slide. Totally hindered your desire to go out. The water pressure was ridiculously low. Almost unable to wash dishes because it is only a trickle. The bar stools are very uncomfortable. Oh and there is some kind of leak from the freezer dripping into the refrigerator. So many things need tending to, but that beautiful beach makes it all worth it.

Vacation 23

Located in the perfect spot away from the main part of town! Awesome balcony view, the kids loved the spiral staircase and loft! The only issue I seen with this unit was the beds! They was very uncomfortable and made it hard to be rested for the next day!

I would also say rental is not ideal for families with small children due to the stair case and the lift railing slats which are a potential danger for little ones, a little scary. But for the dog hair and safety it was a good stay! Close to the beach with a great view and walking distance to Peg legs.

Condo is not as nice as pictures

The location is perfect! The condo was dirty and the pool was very dirty. Condo is in need of updates. We had issues with the elevator several times. The upstairs shower could not be used as a shower. The living room is very small. The mirrors in the pictures make it seem larger than it is. Not really enough seating for a family of 4. We loved Pensacola but was very disappointed with the condo.

Great view

It needs some sprucing up however. The upstairs loft tape joint were all pulled away and could use a fresh coat of paint. Watch you head on the spiral staircase. There is nothing covering the metal brackets and bolts that are head height. Their was plenty of utensils and cookware in the kitchen. Nice washer and dryer. The upstairs tub/shower is a little interesting. We came in on a Saturday and left the following Saturday, they don't tell you when they change codes on the gate. The walk through gate does not work, it was paddle locked shut. You had to walk around the back of the building to get to the pathway that goes over the dune to the beach. The outside pool was nice. A little fixing up and this unit would be a lot nicer.

Great location that makes up for lackluster condo

The view and location are perfect, so that's how this condo keeps renters week after week. You're right outside the hustle and bustle of the main drag, but close enough it is a short ride or even walk. Fort Pickens and the various public parks and access points were close and well maintained. The beach is literally steps away and wasn't crowded at all, even for spring break crowds. The condo needs fresh paint everywhere, a deep cleaning, and some updates, especially the bathrooms. You can't take a shower upstairs. It gets the typical surface and linen cleaning, but it's showing wear and tear. The upstairs bedroom up a spiral staircase could be a real problem for mobility challenged or older folks or anyone with a lot of luggage. The living room furniture isn't really enough to comfortably seat 2 couples for a movie or such, but the outdoor furniture was where we spent most of our time. After coughing and sneezing most of my time indoors but not outside, I'd assume the HVAC system needs a good cleaning, since my allergies went nuts in there. We aren't picky and it suited our needs just fine, but if you are looking for superbly cleaned/maintained and high-end finishes or updates, this one isn't it. The location made up for that, but there are other condos in this building that have been more recently updated. A few thousand bucks in updates and paint and it would be spectacular.

Not clean!

Property was dirty. All ceiling fans caked with dust! Light switches dusty, baseboards dusty, we had to sweep as soon as we got in the door; sand and food crumbs on floors. Spiral staircase was rickety and railing on top loft room was not secure. Stains on ceiling in several places. Just not clean. Definitely will not stay here again or recommend.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Quite and relaxing place. Beautiful views of Pensacola Beach and the Gulf. Condo itself has some really cute decor items. However, the condo needs a top to bottom refresh. Water stains on the living room and master bedroom ceilings. A fresh coat of paint throughout would do wonders.Furniture has lived the life of a rental with careless renters. Looks like chlorine stains on the sofa from wet swimsuits. MBR mattress and pillows are very firm. Technology needs upgrades. My computer warned me the router settings provided low security. TVs are apparently on an antenna. No smart TVs. MBR set is the size of a tablet. Managed to press the wrong button on the LR set and picture was lost for the duration. Cycled through all source settings with no luck. On the plus side my wife and I had numerous quality conversations! Normally TVs would not be an issue, however, when every day is cold and rainy....There is a second floor, loft style bedroom that is only accessible by a tight spiral staircase that could be a hazard for small children and seniors.Would rent here again but after a refresh and technology upgrade.

Cute but needs some work

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a really cute unit, and the décor is adorable. The view is awesome, access to the beach is fantastic and the location is great. The property management company was very friendly, helpful and gave us a little gift bag when we got there. Overall we really enjoyed the stay, but there were some issues.There is obviously going to be some wear and tear with a rental, and the photos do look nicer than the unit actually was - while we didn't expect a perfect rental, there are some issues that could stand to be addressed. The water stains on the ceilings and walls would take next to nothing to spot paint and overall not a big deal. The pull out couch didn't work properly pulling it out, and when we finally were able to, it had crumbs, dirt and a tooth flosser rolled up in it. The railing at the top of the stairs is not secure and wobbled - the curved railing is solid but still a little sketchy. The front door deadbolt did not lock and the first night we had to listen to wind whistling through but they came out as soon as I called to move the strike plate and then it was fine.We had a pretty major housekeeping issue in one of the bathrooms which I won't go into detail about but we had to have them come out and clean it because it was just unacceptable. They did respond very quickly to the issue and we did appreciate that. It just made us wonder what else wasn't clean that we couldn't see. We do maintenance for a property management company so we know it's sometimes hard to get owners to put big money out for repairs/updates, so we don't necessarily blame the management company, but for what we paid, we could have had a suite at Margaritaville. The only reason we chose the VRBO was the extra sleeping accommodations (couch) which we ended up not using because it was dirty and gross. Other than that, it was a nice place, quiet, convenient and enjoyable, and the property management company was great.

We had a relaxing time on this property!

Decent for the price!

Check in was easy and we were even able to check in a little early! I called the office with a few minor issues and they were taken care of immediately. The condo is a bit outdated and could definitely use an upgrade on cookware but those were minor issues considering we spent most of our time on the beach. Condo was easy to find and beach access was great!
