The 160' of prime frontage rims sandy-bottomed shallows perfect for swimming. Designed to capture lake views from almost every vantage point, and outfitted with high-end finishes, the architectural style incorporates soaring 30' ceilings, breathtaking walls of windows, loft overlook and a gourmet kitchen for the aspiring chef.

On the outskirts of the renowned resort town and culinary destination of Traverse City, this is the perfect setting to create memories that will be treasured for a lifetime! Enjoy the holiday of a lifetime! Our beautiful home can be your next vacation spot.

Located on a point, perfectly positioned on Spider Lake, a large all sports lake just outside Traverse City. Close enough to TC and all the wonderful amenities this great city has to offer yet far enough to feel like you're away from it all. Plus outdoor activities galore including world class golf, proximity to "the big lake" and Grand Traverse Bay, dunes, parks, hiking, snowmobiling and more. Come and enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully-furnished, 4 bedroom/ 3.5 bath.

The master bedroom includes an exotic king-sized, four poster bed from Asia, a private full bath, plenty of closet space and direct, uninterrupted views of Spider Lake and the big lake front deck.
The remaining bedrooms are furnished with designer touches.

The living room is furnished with everything you'll need to relax.

The huge and completed furnished kitchen comes with a perfect view of the lake and beach. Granite counter tops complete the scene.

2 1/2 stall garage provides protected parking as well as space for the kayaks.

Spend the day on the lake, swimming, fishing, boating. There are several vendors in the area that offer boat rental. Please inquire with us and we'll make a recommendation. Lastly, please note: there is no longer a hot tub on the property. STR License #008558

The house is beautiful with a lovely view of the lake. Kitchen was well equipped to do meals for our stay. The bed in the master bedroom was quite comfortable. Daniel, the host, was very responsive. The windows needed a little TLC, which took away from how lovely the view was. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.

Really nice location with dock, small shared beach area and sandy bottom swim area, great for little kids. Large kitchen was very well stocked. Grill was sizable. We timed Meijer and Costco deliveries to arrive as we did so we had everything we needed on night #1. We rented a pontoon which was delivered shortly after we arrived. Good lake for fishing and tubing. Lots of golf opportunities in the area. Daniel (host) was very responsive. Thanks for a great week!

Beautiful home and location on the lake. Excellent contact from owner. We rented a pontoon boat for the week and just enjoyed our time at the house and on the water all week. 7 adults and 2 toddlers with plenty of space. Loved the backyard for games.

Perfect family vacation spot

great location, with sandy beach and shallow water near the shore for the kids to play, large enough lake for boats and water sports, outdoor lawn and patio area to eat and play, and a huge, open and airy house. Everything you need for the perfect summer vacation house. We had a great time!

Great Experience

Everything with the stay was perfect. Daniel the owner gets back very quickly with questions and everything was very easy. The house was immaculate. Very clean. It has a beautiful setting on spider lake and a great beach for kids. I would definitely book again. Thanks Daniel.

Perfect Family Vacation

We recently had the opportunity of staying at this house and it was an incredible stay. The house was clean, spacious, and beautiful. The lake was so peaceful and it was so much fun to soak up the sun in the lake all week. The property owner was great and communicated with us throughout our stay as needed. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a fun and peaceful family vacation! We would love to hear stay here again!

Peace and fun by the lake

The place was perfect for our stay. Equal distance to TC and the horse show, it was convenient for restaurants and shuffling around. The house is well appointed, clean and the owner was super responsive. Mostly, it's beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely return!

Most Beautiful Views

A group of friends and I stayed here and were blown away by the views! This property is just as gorgeous in person as the listing describes. The only downside is, there was no hot tub as shown in the listing. Other than that, this place was a great escape. Would definitely stay again!

Just beautiful!

We had a fantastic time in the house on Spider Lake. The place is everything we could have dreamed of. The layout is perfect for entertaining large groups. We had 4 couples with plenty of room. All the elements in the house are first class/top-of-the-line. We hope to return and enjoy the lake...it was a bit too cold in early May. But the water looked crystal clear with a nice sandy bottom. Thanks for sharing your exceptional waterfront retreat!

Lovely week away with friends

This house suited our two families of four quite well. Beautiful view and the beach is among the best on the lake. We used the kayaks daily and rented a pontoon and paddle boards from Kathy at Harold’s Resorts on the lake. House is well equipped. There is only one shower/bathroom upstairs (which is where three bedrooms are) so kids had to run down to basement to shower. The house is twenty minutes to Traverse City so we drove in quite a bit and took day trips to Sleeping Bear dunes (1 hour) and Mission Point.

A very special place

Definitely one of the best Vrbo rentals we’ve ever selected. The view from the deck and small beach are absolutely breathtaking. Outdoor furniture, dining table, and grill all in good condition. Paddle boarding in the cove is a zen experience. Living room is cozy and well decorated, and kitchen is well stocked for meal preparation. It is an easy drive to the fully stocked grocery store, Olsens, and downtown Traverse City is not far beyond. Some good mountain biking trails close by. We had a chance to visit a few of our favorite wineries on the mission Peninsula, which had some very solid social distancing and sanitation practices in place. Most places recommend reservations or you may have to wait.

Perfect lake getaway

We had a wonderful trip to Daniel and Emma’s house on spider lake. Quiet. Comfortable. Well stocked. Had one small problem of air conditioner going out but Ryan had a repairman over the same day and it was fixed within hours. Only comment is to pay attention to listing as pictures show some things that are no longer at the house. The location was great 15’ from TC but remote enough to feel away from it all. Kids loved the beach and we’re in the water non stop while I was able to kayak and fish daily. All in all perfect escape for our family during the pandemic.

When Ryan told me about the aircon, it’s an owner’s worst nightmare especially given the great weather you guys had last week! 😎. It’s true about some differences from pics. Wonderful place - again

This is a delightful place to stay in northern Michigan. The lake itself has interesting features with all the bays. The home is super well equipped with dishes and glasses and flatware, etc etc and the two large refrigerators have accommodated this foodie group on consecutive years. Since we enjoyed perfect weather this year we realized we spent the vast majority of our time on the deck. This is possible because the retractable awning protects against the morning sun, when needed, and it can be retracted again to enjoy all the breezes shortly after 1 pm (July) as the house provides the necessary shade. The small beach and shallow water are perfect for the young and old. Available boat and paddle board rentals provide things to do. The property also comes with many water toys including two small kayaks. This is a great place to rent and we hope to return again. Thank you to the owner who is very responsive, although things are so well-prepared upon arrival that extensive communication has not been necessary either year. Wonderful place - again!
