We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this home! The lakeside setting is gorgeous, with beautiful views that made our time there feel extra special. The house is incredibly spacious, comfortable, and well equipped with excellent amenities—perfect for relaxing and spending time together.What really stood out was the outstanding communication with the owner. They were responsive, helpful, and made everything from check-in through our stay easy and seamless.A beautiful, comfortable home in a fantastic setting. We would happily stay here again on our next trip to Traverse City!

Excellent fully stocked home great for multiple families. Very kind and responsive host. Only downside is the lake bottom by the home’s dock, and extending way out, is extremely mucky and not conducive at all to swimming or using a lilly pad toy for kids to jump off.

Thank you for choosing our home, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay! As described in our listing, our shoreline has natural lake vegetation and is not suitable for swimming from the shore or dock. We recommend kayaking or boating to the nearby sandbars or islands on the lake to swim. Silver Lake has many such areas to enjoy. We include this information in our listing so guests know what to expect when they book.

We had a wonderful time on our first trip to the Lake Michigan area. Our extended family of 7 adults, 2 toddlers and 2 small dogs were perfectly hosted in this beautiful home. The house was stocked with absolutely everything we needed! We were amazed at the range of amenities throughout the home! It made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Thank you Sherie for thinking of the little details that make a difference. We highly recommend your home.

We had a blast staying at Sherry's place!Check-in was very smooth, she was quick to respond to any concerns we had, and her lake house is gorgeous. Highly recommend!

First of all Sherie is a fantastic host! Communication before during and after was incredible! The house was beautiful and very clean! Kitchen was well appointed with everything you need! The bedrooms were big and the views amazing! We didn’t have great weather, but made the most out of the trip! Even did a gender reveal for our next grandson! We had a minor issue with the washer and Sherie had a maintenance man there in a few hours! He replaced the part and all was good! We will definitely come back and enjoy the lake more! We had a family of 11 and it was very comfortable! Thank you again Sherie for letting us enjoy your beautiful property!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay on Silver Lake at this property. The amenities were very nice, including the pool table, hot tub, and kayaks/canoe. The views of the lake from the living room were spectacular. If you are looking for a lake house to enjoy with family and friends I would highly recommend this place.

What a great house to host a girls weekend! Fully stocked with all the necessities; towels, wash cloths, utensils, tableware, ice machine, even a long table to fit all the guest's! The house was spacious with 2 living rooms. The hot tub was ON POINT. Lastly, the host was very prompt with communication and checked in daily to make sure we had what we needed. Highly recommend this house and would stay here again.

House was very clean and accomodating. It had all the ammentities you could want on a vacation. We really enjoyed oir stay. Sherie was great to work with on anything we needed.We will definatly recomend this site to friends and family. Lake was nice to bad it was down in levels.

Great Home Base for Family Vacation

Our family (7 total) loved this experience from booking to checkout. The host Sheri was amazing with her communication every step of the way. She made sure our stay was everything it could be and more. We had plenty of space (loved the enclosed garages!) and the amenities were plentiful. This home is beautiful and recommended for your next vacation or visit to this wonderful area of Michigan.

Perfect family trip

Our extended family loved staying at this house. It was clean, very well stocked with everything we needed, and offered fun options for our adult kids to keep busy. When we were not climbing the dunes or at a winery, we could kayak in the lake, play ping pong, shoot pool, throw darts, or have a bonfire. The owner was very responsive and helpful.

Merry Christmas

Traveled from Boston to be with family in Michigan and we stayed at this property near Traverse City. We had a comfortable and awesome stay. The host put up a tree and nice decorations for the holidays and we felt right at home. Hot tub was a noce peaceful spot and all the bedrooms were well appointed and a space where members of the family could stay up late or sleep in if desired without bothering the others

Multigeneration Family FUN

Our family, including grandparents, 3 adults, 1 teen and 1 child with a small dog, all had a great time over 3 days. This was a beautiful home with the lake in the backyard. The perks of canoe, kayaks, pool table, ping pong table and even a hot tub were used by all ages. The home was clean, and furniture and beds were very comfortable. There was lots of room for everyone to spread out. Host Sherie was a pleasure to work with throughout the process!

Perfect Traverse City house

The house is squeaky clean and loaded with extra blankets, towels, coffee, spices, cookware, dishes, anything you could reasonably want in a rental. The games in the basement kept us occupied for hours when we weren't exploring the beauty of the area. The house is 15 min from TC and the airport, 45 from Sleeping Bear Ntl Lakeshore. Loved kayaking on the lake or just watching the sunset from the large deck. Sherrie is so happy to help with any question or need and responds immediately. Truly one of the best rental experiences. Highly recommend!

Amazing Home

We had the best time in this beautiful home. The location can’t be beat. 15 mins from Front street restaurants. Beautiful views of the lake from every window. The house itself was spotlessly clean. Very nicely decorated. Every amenity we needed was provided from coffee to body lotion. Lots of space to spread out for our group. The teenagers loved the game room. Host Sherie answered our questions very promptly, very easy to work with. We will be back this summer.

From check-in to check-out, this lovely home, tucked on a quiet “cove” of Silver Lake, was exactly as promised. Upon entry we found snacks & a bottle of wine from a local vineyard to welcome us. A binder on the counter had instructions for everything inside & outside the house & answered any questions we might have during our stay. While the binder was extensive, the host, Sherie, made it clear that she was available for any questions or concerns. She checked in via text message during our stay to make sure we were happy but was in no way, intrusive. The inside was extremely clean and the views were spectacular. We were there during a heatwave & the AC worked well. The kitchen was well stocked with every appliance & utensil needed to feed & entertain a group. All bedrooms had ample closet & drawer space for those who like to unpack but also had luggage racks for those who prefer to live out of their suitcase. The beds were comfortable & had plenty of pillows & blankets & also had giant, soft, throw blankets that were perfect for cuddling up for an afternoon nap. The bathrooms had more than enough towels for the week and were fully stocked with any general cosmetic one might need. Outside, the upper & lower decks had plenty of seating & the grill worked well. The yard was large enough to play games & gather around a fire for s’mores. Plenty of floating toys and the kayaks and canoe were in great condition. A great place for friends & family to enjoy the 4th of July!

A perfect home for our family of 11. The indoor and outdoor activities kept everyone busy and happy. We did bring fishing poles and had a few catch and release fish. The home is just as pictured and is in a great location. Loved absolutely everything about it! Thank you Sherie, you are a wonderful host!
