Cozy Cabin in the Pines! Beautiful property with lots of space!

Cozy little house on several acres of flat ground just minutes from town. Easy access to this nicely maintained property located on a paved road. The property is well kept with beautiful views off the bluff at the back of the property. It is an attractive and relaxing setting with convenient access to the many attractions of the Durango area.

Distances to popular places:
5 minute drive to the edge of Durango.
16 minute drive to the Durango & Silverton Railroad.
18 minute drive to Durango regional airport.
39 minute drive to Purgatory Ski Resort.

The house is about 1300 sq. ft. and has two bedrooms with and two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is connected to the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed. There is a nice hide-a-bed in the living room that will allow space for up to 6 people.

There is a full kitchen and dining room and living room that is fully equipped with stove, microwave, dishwasher. There are dishes and pots and pans and spices, etc.

Also a back deck and front porch that are great for just enjoying the great outdoors that Colorado has to offer!

Also, there is the possibility to play pickle ball on the property. It’s not set up all the time, but if you just let us know you are interested we can set it up for you!

The owners live on the property part-time in a separate apartment that is detached from the main house. They often stay off the property while guests are there but will be available if you should need anything.


Here are a couple things you should be aware of in advance:
We do not have any TV's in the house. Also, if you put in a request or message me on a Sunday it will be Monday morning before I can get back with you.

The cabin was a great home base on the outskirts of Durango for our short weekend getaway. We had a smooth check-in process with a proactive and responsive host. We enjoyed the comfortable furnishings and all of the provided extras. The deck overlooking the river valley was so peaceful!

We loved the cabin. Anything you would need was present. Fully equiped kitchen, great bathrooms and comfy towels. Comfortable sitting area and fantastic views sitting in the garden. The house/cabin is unique and amazing

A really lovely cabin with so many nice little touches and amenities. The hosts were delightful and helpful. We felt as though we were really staying in someones loved home. We thoroughly recommend staying here and look forward to returning.

The Cozy Cabin was the perfect base for our visit to Durango. It is a comfortable and clean family home with a fully equipped, updated kitchen. Gary, the host, met us at check-in to give us a tour and ensure our questions were answered. Highly recommend!

The Cozy Cabin exceeded our expectations in cleanliness, amenities and thoughtfulness. The listing pictures don’t do the property justice. The overlook area provided gorgeous views and twice, we saw a pair of wild Turkeys walking through the yard. The check in was easy and Host was available for questions. Highly recommend!!

We stayed at The Cozy Cabin for our daughter’s graduation from Fort Lewis. The place was clean and organized and had everything we needed to make some great meals. Gary was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Easy to downtown and the airport. We really appreciated the place having the basics; coffee and filters, sugar, basic seasonings, paper goods, garbage bags and more. Thanks Gary and Anna!

Great little cabin. Perfect location for easy access to Downtown. Love the pickleball court we played everyday. The owner was super nice and helpful. Loved our stay!

It’s in the details. Spices for cooking. Plenty of dishes, cutlery, ziploc bags. Heated blankets. Truly thoughtful hosts and one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. There we 4 adults and 2 kids and we had plenty of room. Location is right off highway and super quite with fantastic views. Would definitely book again.
